    Manning, EJ and Tuel. There would definitely be SOMEONE calling for Tuel to start by week 3, regardless of our record. I wouldn't even know what to do if we got Manning - my day is already filled up with enough "Wow, so, Rex huh?" conversations. It'd be endless if Payton signed up for the program!

    But you leave off the part where he went 9 - 7 and 11 - 5 and made the AFC Championship game twice in a row! What if you said in the past 6 years the XXX coach was above .500 twice (AFC Title Game), was at .500 twice (a threshold we've crossed twice since 2004) and was under .500 twice? Not as terrible, especially when you consider the Jets front office the past several years...

    I also look at it this way - not only do we have more talent, I think that Rex is a better coach (and will put together a better staff) than Marrone. Marrone almost got us into the playoffs. The more I reflect on it, the more I like the move... Proof's in the pudding, though.

    Good find - sounds like the guy is a legit Offensive mind, let's hope he opens it up in Buffalo. There was some speculation that Harbaugh's conservative nature hamstrung Roman a bit. We shall see!
