  1. I was going to ask the exact same question last night - "Pretty much the worst thing that could happen", really with Aaron's neck injury THIS is the worst that could happen? o_O Did I miss him being ruled out for the year? Hopefully the neck will be fine, he'll get his head right and he'll come back to play at full-speed, with full confidence during the season. This injury is on the design of the practice? You do know they're playing football, fighting for positioning and the ball and that, yes, sometimes they have big unexpected collisions? Was Williams not following the line painted on the ground that he was supposed to follow? Not sure if people here thought that AW would never take a big hit, or what. He did, he has a concussion, let's just pray that the neck is OK and that his confidence isn't shook.
  2. Ah, no. Some key players though... http://www.rotoworld.com/teams/injuries/nfl/all/ Good perspective on how many guys are hurt around the NFL, all the time. I give them a series or two, then pull them. You have to play at game speed at least a bit before the season, IMO.
  3. Pats game is on TV here in VT - will let anyone know if anything exciting happens. Pats just recovered a turnover...
  4. Sal update (on WGR, which is behind real life / twitter) - Ed Reed just walked back out, was in the locker room for 4 - 5 minutes with Williams...
  5. @JoeBuscaglia Striker's left leg is taped up and he's now quickly back on there #Bills
  6. Come on now, you KNOW that he'll throw some good balls tonight and someone will come on here complaining that Whaley let him go and is either In Over His Head, or Asleep At The Wheel.
  7. Freaking NFL, in 10 years it'll probably cost $100 to watch one regular season game at home (as advertisers keep losing money what with the kids not watching TV). I'm going to roll with a combo of NFLN (anyone know if Redzone Channel will be up?), WGR55 and Twitter / TBD
  8. Did he learn the lesson that if you owe someone money, you should probably pay them back before they get mad and punch you in the face?
  9. Do they make bionic knees yet? Because that's clearly what our team needs!
  10. If you look in the HOF, they actually only count rookie stats, sooooo... Bummer for Reggie and us, I think it's far from the "circus" that some seem to think - after-all, injuries happen all the time, even random-ass ones - still, would love to have seen Ragland and Shaq on the field this year!
  11. Anyone else watching episode 1? A few thoughts: - Seems crazy the Rams are in L.A. - Goff looks skinny and seems confused; Greeegg calls him out (Goff got better by the end, Greeeegg did not) - Not a big fan Fisher, or his staff - Kendrick and Schoolboy at practice, yes! Likely something not seen at SJF - Gurley looks fast! - Rams players should not mess with The Wedge, that wave is dangerous - Can't believe they're actually going to play NFL football in the coliseum, that place is old as hell... I could kinda care less about the Rams, but HK is such a fun show to get an inside look at the NFL... Maybe we'll get our shot next year
  12. Good to hear that the Zac Brown Band is playing well! We're going to need him (or is it, them?)... ^ uh, who now? If our O-line suffers any injuries at all we had better go to an all run O, or get Tyrod killed (though he would be a runner in this scenario)!
  13. Or when you're blaming them for sprained ankles, or non-contact ACL injuries...
  14. I was listening to this show yesterday and couldn't disagree with Schopp less. Yes, I'd rather trade down, but it doesn't mean there's never a time to trade up and I'm not buying the "quantity" argument. At one point he said that if the Bills had kept this year's 4th that they used in the trade up to get Ragland we'd have another player on the roster that could potentially place Ragland now that he's injured - not that there's any guarantee that we would have picked a LB, but ok... And at the beginning of his rant Schopp insisted this made no difference. Pretty sure having at franchise QB (one of the best ever), makes it a little easier to look to other spots in the draft and masks misses.
