The BB.com messageboard sucked so no loss and it looks like they're just directing conversation to their Facebook page, which is where a lot of brands are going - much less toxic than an anonymous message board. Sounds like Vic is inferring that, probably because Doug (reportedly) wanted to start Cardale the last few games of the season... I too want to see Jones get his shot, but only if he wins a legit QB competition!

So how do we structure the deal so Tyrod gets what he wants, the Bills cap isn't killed - can we spread it over 3? He's a bridge guy over the next 2 - 3 while Cardale and this / next year's draft pics mature (unless he gets it done and gets an extension)?

Fully. The funny part about the Sirius argument, is that they agree with Bills fans, saying that Tyrod is likely a bridge QB for the next 2 - 3 years while you get a rook ready. But they added that he's going to get at least what the Bills are offering on the open market and that his salary is the going rate for a middle-of-pack QB with potential (or at least that hasn't completely flamed out). Will definitely be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks...

Lot of TT talk on Sirius NFL today - Ross Tucker said that if TT hits FA he'll be the best option out there this year and that he's far better than any QB coming out of college (said they all need a year on the bench). His co-host (not quite sure who that was today) completely agreed... Interesting that he's such a great option to everyone. But the Bills.

Was thinking the same thing. I believe we could start one thread called "Up or Down" or "Day or Night" and we would have the same 6 people, 3 v 3 arguing about it. Something like: Person 1: Day WOULD be good, if only night didn't come - and it does every, single, night. Day sucks, always has always will. Person 2: Are you crazy, Day is with us for several hours a day, it's great, keeps us warm and lets us see. Yes, night does come around, but that's just part of the universe...

Been meaning to mention this since last night - at one point (in the 3rd quarter, I believe) the announcers said "The Falcons have only run 33 Offensive plays, that's unheard of!" (or something like that). As soon as I heard that I thought "oh man, that means the Pats have run 400 Offensive plays and eventually they're going to start HITTING on things." Turns out they did... Regarding this thread, I would put it opposite - the rest of the AFC East has had a hard time with Brady his entire career. The only reason I put it that way is because I think Brady would have an easy time in ANY division! The fact that he's going to have to start sizing up fingers on his other hand next year is testament to that...
