  1. I've heard good things about ABV, but haven't checked it out - have not been to the breweries though. Will put all of this on my list for holiday visits!! True, but it always kinda was - that's the beauty of Mighty to me, it's like Buffalo's take on American, Mexican fast food. In the fast food realm, I'm also a fan of DiBella's Subs and (though I haven't head one in like 20 years) Jim's Steak Out - it's hard to find great steak subs around the country.
  2. Thank you sir, can't turn down that offer
  3. Can we please just do away with TNF as a whole?
  4. Been there a couple times now, it's OK - big and modern, but certainly not cozy or super unique. Still, worth seeing. Went to Lagerhaus 95 (Cobblestone district, not far from Harborcenter) and enjoyed it. I feel like Pearl Street Grill is overrated. Also had a few drinks and some food at Pizza Plant in the Courtyard Marriott down in that area too, wasn't bad at all! All time classics include: The Bar Bill, Duffs, Ted's, Mighty Taco, and if you want to go high end I highly recommend Lambardo Ristorante!
  5. Some talk on Sirius today about David Caldwell and how he needs to own the Bortles pick and how that ain't good for him. Just interesting in that there were several on TBD that were pulling for Caldwell to get the Bills GM job (he IS from Buffalo, so must be awesome)...
  6. So he wasn't slow, just leaning into O linemen OR Maybinesque? So confused...
  7. As was said on Sirius today - EVERY team loses sometimes, even really good ones! Minny, who looked great got beat in all three phases of the game - does that mean they're suddenly terrible, or had a bad game? Your call... I'm not throwing in the towel on the Pats game until the final whistle! Let's clean up the mess that was yesterday and get back at it!!
  8. Certainly felt that way to me too - if so, that was the wrong plan!
  9. TOP in that heat had to kill the D: Buf: 22:58 / MIA: 37:02
  10. Pitts, who's D got shredded by Miami last week, is hanging with the Pats this week. So far.
  11. 1. The Missing: Watkins (WR1), Woods (WR2), Shady (RB1) - makes the O hard to go; Dareus might have helped up the middle 2. Couldn't stop the run: 200+ ouch 3. O-line / O play: Couldn't get anything going, likely should have just started Gillislee, Tyrod under pressure all day
  12. Already dehydrated / drunk, per Twitter!
  13. What about Touchdown Mike Gillislee? Phins 5th round pick in the '13 draft, cut 9/5/15... I'm sure he's going to have to carry some of the running load! Let's hope he keeps living up to the nickname.
  14. Well, they could if they would just rub some dirt on it and get back out there! I would also add that I work with a lot of pro skateboard / BMX / snowboarders (think 20 somethings) and I assure everyone those kids are NOT soft or wussies in any way. I've seen some falls that just make you cringe, only to have the kid get back up and try the trick again, lest we think all millennials are Making America Not Great...
  15. Or people are just much smarter about injuries now... o_O
  16. Ha - love when brands take advantage of a moment like that. Where would the world be without marketers?
  17. As long as Pegula doesn't have to sell the Sabres to Bon Jovi (who's going to move them to Nunavut), I'm ok with this.
  18. Soooo did the Bills call or NOT call the super hamstring guy mentioned earlier in the thread?!? The way I see it Shady is definitely playing. Or not. And you can quote me and Tweet that...
