  1. Another excuse for Rex! Also, was that Steel Dragon I just heard?
  2. Timely article: http://www.npr.org/2016/11/21/502610853/nfl-players-searching-for-painkiller-choices-hope-for-relaxed-marijuana-ban
  3. The good news is the safety debate will be over someday when self driving cars have been out for a while and are really perfected. I'm fully on-board with an autonomous vehicle that will just take me places (also seems like it would solve a lot of the safety problems in the weed thread too .
  4. If anything sounds like the drivers should be more afraid of the passengers than vice-versa: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/dr-gridlock/wp/2016/08/11/uber-says-most-of-its-safety-incidents-are-abusive-riders-on-drivers/?client=safari
  5. I swear, only on TBD do we have people that would argue against the convenience and cost savings of Uber I've taken Uber hundreds of times in dozens of cities and countries and have never had an issue beyond the driver getting lost and my trip costing more than it should (Uber refunded a big chunk of my fair both times that happened) and a couple crappy cars / drivers (just rate them low and they won't be an Uber driver for long). To each is own, but I love me some Uber!
  6. Does ANY coach or player want that on their resume?? That's why the idea of a "tank" is funny in pro sports is funny to me - "Oh I'm one of the best coaches / athletes in the world! That 0 - 16 season? Pay no attention to THAT year!" Winning is how they get jobs, endorsements and keep their careers going... Trust me Jackson WANTS to win as many as possible, draft position be damned.
  7. Could not agree with Douzable more on this one - as someone who travels all the time, I find Uber to be more convenient and typically much less expensive. Definitely watch that surge pricing though! Back home a cab to the airport with tip, etc. is like $20, an Uber is $12. In Cali I took a trip from Long Beach to Newport Beach (about a 45 minute drive) and it was only $29. It was like $50 to go from the Buffalo airport to downtown for the opener, which seems crazy to me (and I almost took a cab to the game - another $100 hit, I'm sure). Heck, I'm typing this in Bucharest Romania right now and they have Uber HERE - if its good enough for Bucharest, it's good enough for Buffalo, I always say. Granted I have been lost a couple times and had bad drivers, but got refunds on the trips. And I've also had some awful cab drivers too, to be fair. Regarding Uber killing cab companies, what it's killing is the expensive infrastructure - they don't own the cars, they don't pay the upkeep, they don't pay insurance on massive fleets of vehicles, etc. Please, PLEASE bring Uber to Buffalo!
  8. I read most of the thread, but did anyone blame the illuminatti? Cause if it's not the player, the system, the technique, Gilmore, Darius, Whaley, Rex or (and I can't believe I didn't see his name) Russ Brandon, my guess makes sense. Or it could just be a bit of a sophomore slump x light a fire scenario...
  9. Fly to Romania for a work thing. Good thing it's our bye week or I'd have tried to get out of this one!
  10. To be fair, he *was* making it through the year until a cheap (though legal) shot took him out. A shot that likely would have injured a lot of players in the league...
  11. Think of the stadium amenities! Trump Casino OTB in the Bills store, the Ralph statue dipped in GOLD, Trump wine on tap, Trump Steak sandwiches in the concessions, the Field House roof raised so that it's a skyscraper!!
  12. Welp, people missed a hell of a game (precursor to Tuesday night's action). I'm fully over non-Sunday football - Monday Night and especially Thursday Night football can go, as far as I'm concerned. Back in the day, when there were way less entertainment options, MNF made sense - nice way to ease in the week, didn't get in the way of bowling league night, was a good excuse to put the kids to bed so you could have the one TV in the house (that you had to WALK UP TO to change the channels) and it was likely the only good show on the 12 channels that you had. Now everyone is so busy, has so many entertainment options, that MNF just gets lost in the shuffle unless it's YOUR team. I almost never watch MNF / TNF beyond maybe a few plays, I just don't care if it's not Buffalo. IMO, they should just give more networks more games on Sunday and get rid of both. Or at least please, PLEASE get rid of TNF - bad for fans and the teams!
  13. I just like that Bills fans - the same Buffalo Bills team that hasn't made the playoffs in a million years - didn't trust the guy to run the team, but people trust him to run America! That said, if he owned the team and was President (if one is even allowed to own and team and run a country in the same hemisphere) he could pass some sort of law that Bills automatically are in! Playoff drought over, Bills Made Great Again.
  14. This, this and this. We did hold Seattle to like 33 yards rushing, which, while not helping with the final score, is still pretty amazing...
  15. Have you ever kicked an inflated and a non-inflated soccer ball? The inflated one is going further every time... And kickers rough up the balls because the NFL K balls are super slippery, not because they're stiff.
  16. Jobbed at the end of BOTH halves. I saw that one before I saw the Powell hit. It's all over Twitter, Thurman's on it!

  18. Just hear to add the obligatory "Don't Sweat The Petty..." quote.
  19. Tyrod is better than you think: http://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/17986709/tyrod-taylor-buffalo-bills-better-think-steal Or so this article would want you to believe...
  20. OMG WREX FAIL! Dumbasses were probably trying to get home 'cause they had to work the next day - just call in sick bros, what's the worst that can happen!? For real though, how could you leave in that situation?? I've sat at Bills games, in freezing December, down by 30, just because.
