  1. Ross Tucker and B Hopkins (I think) on Sirius just ripped the Marrone / Coughlin hires saying that Marrone was not that good in Buffalo and that O-Line coaches rarely make good HCs. As for Coughlin sounds like they hired a search firm (and apparently they spent big buck) to come up with names, that Tucker and B Hop said are "already out there!". Interesting to hear different perspectives on these hires...
  2. And, boom, here's the Coleman interview on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/siriusxmnfl/passionate-detailed-kurt-coleman-on-new-bills-hc-sean-mcdermott
  3. From the Sirius interview w Panthers S Kurt Coleman: - McDermott is not going to be outworked. Always at the facility, would seem him working out at 5am (Yes - our new coach works out). I would think "I can't let the coach out work me!" - Gil: "He's a teacher, not a hollerer. I was impressed with him" KC: "He kept telling me YOU can play this game, be smart, work hard, make plays. It always stuck with me." - Marvez: "Did you see him grow as a coach?" KC: Tremendously. Very receptive to listening to the players, he wants to try and understand your point of view. And if he agrees, he'll make changes - a lot of coaches won't do that,"
  4. Also, this is happening in a few minutes: I'm listening...
  5. May have missed this posted earlier, but like the guys passion on the field. http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Watch-Sean-McDermott-Wired-for-Sound/e50801f3-8146-44b0-bc09-6df0c406cb9a He had me at "Great angles create great tackles" and "Make sure we understand what's going on here!"
  6. Even better... That guy is pushing the Whaley had nothing to do with this hire (as was GR55 a few minutes ago - I had to shut it off), the caption I saw was"Don't let the strategic position fool you #Bills fans. Guess he's implying that the owners are next to the coach, not Whaley. But, duh, they're the owners sooooo...
  7. Amazing - please tell me you put this on Twitter? #Bills and #Billsmafia SO good
  8. Yolo, you made me Lol(o) Open with: 1) "The 12th man is important to me, so we're going to give Heitz season tickets, lower bowl, on the 50 and a lifetime paid parking spot at Hammer's!" End with: 2) "Local media, please raise your hands. Ok. F**k you, f**ck you, f**k you, YOU'RE cool - and I'm out."
  9. It's like taking a test - if you don't know the answer, pick C!
  10. To be fair, Elway is in Denver, so maybe he's just pretty high...
  11. I also like these facts about McDermott: Maybe he can help us scout a QB, maybe Tomlin can offer advice!
  12. His full resume: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sean_McDermott Also, not sure if anyone read that SB Nation link I posted: http://www.boltsfromtheblue.com/2017/1/9/14184912/bftb-staff-decides-who-should-the-chargers-hire-to-be-head-coach ), But one of these guys states: "Was the Scouting Coordinator in Philadelphia and in his first year on the job McDermott helped draft the Eagles best quarterback in franchise history, Donovan McNabb." Does he still know what a QB looks like and can he help us find one!?
  13. You haven't mentioned that anywhere else in this (or any other) thread. We get it, you wan't them to keep TT. But just keep in mind, if they don't keep TT it doesn't AUTOMATICALLY spell disaster - and if they do keep him, there's no guarantee of success. Why don't you let things play out a bit before posting that we're doooooomed every other post...
  14. A bit of insight on McDermott from this SD Roundtable coaching search discussion on SB Nation (thought they mostly prefer Patricia) http://www.boltsfromtheblue.com/2017/1/9/14184912/bftb-staff-decides-who-should-the-chargers-hire-to-be-head-coach
  15. I thought this was a good article on McDermott: http://www.espn.com/blog/carolina-panthers/post/_/id/21796/two-truths-and-a-lie-make-sean-mcdermott-a-great-defensive-coordinator He's our guy - LET'S GO! Go Bills!
  16. Interesting - an article from Carolina suggesting they replace McDermott with Bradley as DC (naturally because "Fans are looking for a shakeup" - they must have already forgotten about that 15 - 1 season a year ago!) http://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2016/12/19/could-panthers-target-gus-bradley-for-a-defensive-position/
  17. I think you could even shorten that to above. Just because we the message board masses don't fully get a candidates credentials, it doesn't mean they're living off of one year of good coordinator results (as an example). I'm guessing the people that have actually worked in that small industry for years have a better insight into candidates than us...
  18. You might need a new hobby, no reason to let entertainment change your entire personality / viewpoint on life! I'm as big a Bills fan as any, but I'm always super optimistic on life - even when my friends around the country / people in my work world are breaking my balls about our team. If you always expect things to be bad, they will, IMO. Of course, I love Murph's show - I actually appreciate his optimistic viewpoint of the Bills, I get plenty of the other side from national media and TBD!
  19. Casserly yesterday: Home run! Casserly today: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000772408/article/casserly-coughlin-needs-to-fight-the-urge-to-micromanage-in-jax?campaign=Twitter_atn
