  1. The NFL has basically a 100% injury rate, so I don't believe that statement at all... Apparently all teams in the NFL need better trainers and medicals staffs: http://www.usatoday.com/picture-gallery/sports/nfl/2016/09/06/notable-nfl-injuries-for-2016-season/89918024/
  2. It's like this is a foreign concept at TBD and the second half of your post is spot on! Fully with ya here!
  3. Well, at least we know what we're not in the playoffs this year. Chris Hogan who finally, with the GOAT QB throwing the ball, had a big game. Surprised he didn't mention how SUPER stupid the Dolphins where for letting Hogan get to the Bills first, then the Pats! They had the AFCs greatest player on the roster and let him go to TWO AFC teams!!
  4. Interesting that they were seemingly talking about this big trade before the draft! so much for the "no one knows anything anyone is doing!" line...
  5. Pretty sure you can leave "sports" out of the thread title...
  6. Daily News writer would rather have Tyrod than Eli: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/tyrod-taylor-not-eli-manning-giants-qb-article-1.2954848 Discuss.
  7. So you're saying there's a chance!?! Also, you're saying I'm not very good at math!?!
  8. Pretty much everyone on Sirius yesterday (including Farve) said that Ben will be back - he just went through a tough season that ended in a tough loss, so no one was surprised to hear him say he's going to step-back and take a look at things. In fact, said that's the smart thing to do. Tomlin also mentioned that this isn't the first time Ben has talked about stepping away... IMO, he's back next year.
  9. New Era Field is the nicest stadium in the league and seats 500K - 1MM easy!
  10. If Buffalo ever wins the AFC it won't be just the 70some thousand people in the stadium going crazy, it'll be the entire city / region and fans around the country!
  11. Long article on Cully: http://m.chiefs.com/news/article-2/Chiefs-WRs-Coach-David-Culleys-Journey-to-the-NFL/21891756-d124-4b4e-9346-6b8382267e72 Haven't read this one yet (damn conference calls), but I don't know this guy, he's a WR coach, what could he possibly know about QBs, nepotism, I blame Doug Whaley, Pegs in over his head, doomed. We'll SEE if this article can change my mind
  12. Rooting for the Falcons all the way! One, Atlanta is running the hip-hop scene these days, so I fully expect a great mixtape celebrating the Falcons to drop once they win. Two, if they win maybe it means they killed Brady somewhere along the way in the game and THAT would be a win for everyone!
  13. Had: http://buffalonews.com/2017/01/20/sammy-watkins-foot-shaq-lawson-knee-undergo-offseason-surgery/?utm_campaign=puma&utm_medium=social&utm_source=Twitter#link_time=1484950211
  14. Riiiiight, but I'm assuming that Sean McDermott does.
  15. Why not - as long as only the Bills keep the revenue! Suddenly the Bills have the most money in the NFL. And thanks eball!
  16. Oh no you di-int! He had chops (likely pork or lamb), but did he have respect around the league?
  17. True, you didn't say doomed, my bad! And while it might not be a "coup", I certainly don't see any reason to temper enthusiasm - the guy clearly has some chops in the NFL...
  18. No you should just not do any research of your own and say "It's the Bills, we're doomed!" No one knows how this hire will work out, but they guy clearly has a good resume (player, 25+ years of coaching), worked under a respected coach in Kubiak (who called Dennison "the second voice in his head), has respect within NFL coaching circles, had been mentioned in Head Coaching searches over the years and has held the OC position multiple times for multiple teams. Let's give him a chance before saying flat out "he never called plays and didn't coordinate the passing game, we're doomed!" (unless you were in the room with him over the years, then please, enlighten us).
  19. Even if both coaches WON the Super Bowl, got in a car and drove straight to Buffalo to start their new jobs, someone on TBD would find a reason to B word! Regarding the bold, all very true, I've also read in various articles that the guys were hiring are all teachers (and to your point, they're teaching systems they learned from solid, respected mentors). This team definitely needs some teaching of fundamentals - like wrapping up and tackling - so definitely good to hear!
  20. Finally someone that gets it! #itsnotreallythathard
  21. Boom - she was my first go to, but googled her and was like DAMN, what happened. So went with the next in my mind...
  22. Heh! For sure - gotta blame someone. And no worries, I've been calling plays since the 70's...
  23. Right place, right time. I even looked at Twitter and back to TBD a couple times like "is this real - no one has posted?". Felt like a big win this early into 2017 for sure...
