    Gilmore's fault or not, if he were still on the Bills and that happened in week 1, this board would be in full meltdown mode! The best part of last nights game, for me, was thinking of all the Pats fans streaming out of the stadium on a Thursday night thinking "what just happened!?"

    They didn't say he "earned the position", they said he "did everything we asked of him" - i.e. he tried hard and didn't F up, they just felt the other players were better. That's unexpected.
