  1. To be fair, I've been to some super nice stadiums, arenas, etc. and have gotten plenty drunk. Buffalo doesn't need to be the Mad Max Wasteland for a Bills game to be fun. Also, all these lots have problems, but Hammer doesn't - funny how that works. BTW, when the Bills move downtown, I'm going to buy a lot and just give it to Hammer...
  2. By all accounts, she has worked with Terry on his businesses for years, she helped drive the HarborFront project, she was involved with the purchase of the Bills (and when you're making a $1.4B purchase, I'm guessing you get pretty darn familiar with the business), so I'm guessing she has the chops. Granted she's been more on the marketing side, but agin, you can learn any business. Props to her - Go Kim, Go Bills!
  3. I love what Beane did even more in this draft now, after reading that article! One really wonders what 'ol Dougie would have done? And even more so, I wonder if Beane's connections and relationships are at a different level than our former GM?
  4. Good stuff - thanks for posting, nice "in between meeting" viewing! As mentioned, you see some good and some bad from Allen, but a whole lot of potential! I've only watched Boise State so far... That across the body, downfield pass in the SD game (play starts at about :40) is like !
  5. Yeah, but we're TBD - we're smarterer and the best damn talent evaluators, working for free, on the Internet! I know who's opinion I'm going with...
  6. Report - Bills leapfrogged the Chargers to grab Edmunds: http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/05/buffalo_bills_leapfrogged_los_angeles_chargers_to_select_lb_tremaine_edmunds_rep.html Apparently making up for that afternoon I spent in LA watching the Bills get crushed trying not to get too sunburned...
  7. If you're talking the home opener, every time I've RV'd the lot has sold out. Not sure on the new pricing / pass policy and interestingly there isn't much on the website (yet), but maybe that'll help with the madness. A few thoughts: Find a place to park / camp Friday, a ton of people stay behind Danny's (I assume you'll have to call them about that) Get in line to get in the lot EARLY on Saturday AM, like 5am; the lot is usually sold out by Noon on Sat Bring extras for the neighbors - you'll meet a TON of great people, it's always nice to have a spare beer or wing for 'em! Also, last year by Sept the RV lot had sold out for four games: http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2017/09/01/bills-camperrv-lot-sold-out-for-four-games/ Regardless, have fun - camping at the game is the BEST! So many good people, and there's something special about going to sleep across from the stadium on Saturday night.
  8. What's interesting is that this is an article talking about both "on-the-ground"' and "analytical" scouting, that then goes on to infer that the Bills made their QB decision based scouting that is "not advanced", but then clearly uses the analytics argument to say Allen is "inaccurate". As has been mentioned in several articles / videos - completion percentage is NOT the same as accuracy. Accuracy is ball placement, completion percentage is how many are caught...
  9. ^ Everything that he said gets a big
  10. Perhaps Rosen isn't worth nearly the assets as Allen? Several have said that AZ also coveted Allen... Good news, we gonna find out over the next few years!
  11. Did you watch the draft last night? Did you see Andre and Fred bring Pancho up on to announce the pick? If you don't think we're all a big Bills family, then I don't know what to do for you...
  12. I believe it was Alfred Pennyworth that put it so well, "Some men just want to watch the world burn".
  13. But they can be used to draw false conclusions. I posted this in the Allen thread, but seems relevant here:
  14. This may have been posted (and really is just the next video after the I posted above ^^), but good food for thought: Fingers crossed.
  15. Was just watching his Senior Bowl highlights, the guy might be labeled inaccurate, but he sure dropped some dimes in that game (and showed his athleticism) It'll be exciting to see what this kid can do.
  16. Love me some Jackson Hole, one of my favorite places in the world - WY gets two thumbs up in my book!!
  17. Their thing is - they don't really believe what they say, they just spout baseless opinions that rile up fans and fill time.
  18. New poster COMING IN HOT!!
  19. Did someone say through the ball a mile!?
  20. The OP did - and really, that's all that matters to the OP. LAMP
