I only pay for NFL Ticket not the full YouTubeTV package, with other programming. The sling site says the day pass is "new". I'll probably give it a try.

I am trying to sort out how to watch Monday night's game only on ESPN. I don't have a cable package, on NFL ticket and streaming services. None of them carry ESPN, only the useless ESPN+, that I now refer to as ESPN-, (ESPN minus). Sling Orange day pass, at $4.99 per day, seems like a perfect solution to get ESPN for the day and watch the game with the family. Anyone try this before?

Answering my own post... I just got off a chat with YouTube about recording games with NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube, without YouTube TV. YouTube said YES you can record games on the YouTube TV app, but not on the YouTube app. I do not have either the YouTube TV or YouTube app, but plan to sign up for Sunday Ticket this year and hope this works as they described it.

Anyone know if you get just the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube, without YouTube TV, can you only watch the games in real time, or are you able to stream the game later, on their cloud-based DVR?

I don't care if they run it once all year. If practicing the no huddle all training camp accomplishes one thing, and that one thing is to insure the coaching staff gets the play call in to Edwards so that we don't foolishly waste timeouts, then the whole exercise was worthwhile.
