Lewis is barely three years older than Tuel. Lewis looked better in games last year that Tuel. Lewis has a better arm and I believe a better feel for the game than Tuel. Thus, Lewis has more upside. He's not 40 on the downside of his career. They both have room to grow and Lewis is the better QB right now. Tuel showed almost nothing outside of the preseason to say he has any upside at all.

Bills sign WR Tori Gurley, CB Kamaal McIlwain
FutureBillsGM replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well he is 6'4 and the guy they cut to sign him (Roberson) is 6'4 so they must have seen something they like other than just height. This guy was fairly highly rated as a high school player and made a poor decision to come out of school early after his sophomore year. Think of the last three years as him finishing up college. Like was said before, he's camp fodder but I think he's a much better piece of fodder than Roberson was. -
Training Camp Reporters
FutureBillsGM replied to voodoo poonani's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have tickets for all days of camp. I work second shift so it may be hard to catch some of the weeknight late practices but I will be at most others. I am not an ex players or coach so it may not be total in depth analysis but I will write up what I can. -
Agreed. It's always a great feeling to come home to an envelope, package or box from the Bills, especially season tickets.

Anyone remember when season tickets are mailed out? I have seen a few things that say July/August. We're past the mid point in July so just curious to see if they will be coming any time soon. I can't for the life of me remember when I got mine last year and didn't find anything with the search function.

Training Camp Trip: Where to eat/drink/stay
FutureBillsGM replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Eating a Dogtown plate on lunch. Best plate in Downtown by far and I hit it up pretty regularly. Their dogs are also good (with about every topping imaginable). Dino is far and away better than Sticky Lips in my book. Been to Sticky Lips a few times and always have left disappointed. East/Alexander seems to me to be at least more of the club, college kid scene and the Monroe area seems to be the pub/small bar scene for the 25-25 something people for the most part although you get your share of youngins down there too. What exactly are you looking for? I probably have more ideas based on that. -
I have been debating it. I don't particular care about the "padding" but it would be nice to keep people out of your seats in the Rockpile. I've sat five or six seats down because people are crunched in there.

Just got season tickets for the first time
FutureBillsGM replied to slothrop's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They will send you random things throughout the year, Last year I believe I got a hat, pins, a Bills stadium blanket as well as some exclusive offers for upgrades on tickets, free shirts, etc as an enticement to renew at the end of the season. They usually jus trandomly show up and it's a pretty cool little surprise. -
Looks to be a good spot for me. What time do they usually fill up? I've parked at Stadium Collision the past two games because its $10 and easy to get out but its a longer walk and the tailgating sucks.

2014 Bills OTAs Part 2 (June 3rd - June 5th)
FutureBillsGM replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I HATE the thought of moving Glenn to guard. I know it's OTAs and they have to try things in case of injuries going forward and such but I cringe every time I hear it. -
It was with no defenders on the field. There is a picture on this page but they don't show the catch on the video (that I could see) even though they show most every other pass to Watkins in contact drills. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/OTA-1-Watkins-settles-in/445c1a31-886f-4624-85b7-7e7565a1c7c3

Crichton is my prediction. I think the Bills (and others) really like him.

Buffalo Bills schedule released...
FutureBillsGM replied to SBUffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
8-4 going in to the last four weeks (possibly 9-3). Lot's of buzz for the team. Can they finish it off against the big boys? -

Forbes had the Milwaukee Bucks at $405 million. They sold for $550 million (which many said was a bargain) which is a 35.8% premium to the Forbes valuation. This would put the Bills at 1.18 billion or more using the comparison (which is loose but still gives an idea)>

Donald Trump asked to invest in the Bills
FutureBillsGM replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not that I believe anything he says and it sounds like he's just going off the rumors but take it FWIW: Fred Smerlas tweeted about 9:30am: #ThoughtsOverAMCoffee: Great news for the Bills; looks like The Donald may be the new head man -
Chad Kelly dismissed from Clemson
FutureBillsGM replied to NDBUFFCUSEFAN's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right, he hasn't met the college class time requirement to enter the NFL and even if he did, he would be eligible for the supplemental draft and not a Free Agent. -
Chad Kelly dismissed from Clemson
FutureBillsGM replied to NDBUFFCUSEFAN's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Check out some of the other articles. Aside from other things, he apparently flipped his "s@#$" on the coaches during the spring game (once for not going for it on 4th down and 3) and was benched for the whole second half where he continued to fume on the sidelines. Also was removed from todays practice by police who had met with the coaches prior to let them know that he was going to be taken supposively. -
Yeah, he'd end up owning .04% of a team or something. When the talk is that he wants the team in Toronto, you're looking at say 900 mil for the team, 500 mil league relocation fee, say they wait a while and the lease buyout is 200mil, new stadium with 700 mil team invested. That's about 2.3 billion dollars of which Bon Jovi could probably muster up 100mil or just less than a quarter of a percent of the ownership stake.

Should We Draft a QB In Late Rounds
FutureBillsGM replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every year if possible. Teams like the Packers and Falcons used to use this philosophy and when the guy looks great in preseason, they traded them for higher picks. There will always be a premium on QBs, so why not take a flayer every year. -
Most people have Martin going in the 2nd, early second at that. No way he's there in the 4th.

Texans release Danieal Manning
FutureBillsGM replied to BillsFan3434's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rumors on Twitter from a few sports writers that he is almost a lock to go to Dallas (played under Marinelli before, lives there, lifelong Cowboys fan, huge need at S). -
Evan Mathis (Eagles All-Pro Guard) on the trading block
FutureBillsGM replied to dubs's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jason LaCanfora just tweeted the Eagles are looking for a 3rd round pick and probably would accept a 4th, otherwise, they plan to keep him.
