  1. Coughlin will be 71 years old next year. Panthers fans don't even like Mike Shula.
  2. My understanding was that it is a 3 year deal that can void to a 2 year deal so he's ours for at least 2 years regardless of how this year goes. Edit; Yes, here is the void detail: The most interesting piece of the contract, also tied to Taylor's playing time, is a voidable clause. If Taylor plays in over 50 percent of the Bills' plays in either 2015 or 2016, and remains on the roster five days following the 2016 Super Bowl, the third year of the contract voids. This clause would allow, if he received significant playing time in either 2015 or 2016, Taylor to become a free agent for 2017. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/bills-news-notes/2015/3/18/8236345/tyrod-taylor-contract-details-buffalo-bills-qb-nfl-free-agency-2015
  3. While this may be the case, a guy who is #52 on an NFL roster makes about 100 times more than a track and field athlete. It's all about the Olympics and loving the sport. There isn't (a lot of) money to be had there.
  4. Rich asked him about his "no Lebron at QB" comment. Rex said that we don't have a #1, 2, or 3 guy in the league but we have capable guys. Rich asked if Tyrod Taylor had a chance to start. Rex said "absolutely!". All three guys have had their moments. Asked if this was the best offensive team that he has had. He said that he wasn't sure and cited the offensive line when he arrived at the Jets. Stated that he hasn't seen some guys on the field yet due to injury (Sammy, Gilmore, Leodis) but we are a very good team without them and they will only make us that much better. Asked about who he was surprised by on the roster. He aaid Jerry Hughes. Said the defensive line is all Pro Bowlers and he is as good as any of them. Also said they have a "little guy" named Nickell Robey who can flat out play. Said that Gilmore will take a huge jump up this year and that he has been impressed with Bradham. Asked about corners switching off on the top receiver or staying on their side. Mentioned Revis was the best ever at that but took the opportunity to say Gilmore will be in that conversation this year. Excited about Darby. Said the big knock was that no one threw on him in college and said there was a reason for that and they were glad to get him in the second round.
  5. It looks like they took the premise of Entourage, changed it from Hollywood to the sports industry. Made a few tweaks and put it back out.
  6. As the previous guy said, I was not saying they were great but they all have multiple years of experience at the position over a guy like Pryor who Goodwin runs faster, Hogan runs better routes, Thigpen returns kicks, Lewis is pretty much what you're looking to get out of Pryor but younger with much more experience. They all have a decided advantage over someone switching positions and learning on the fly in the NFL.
  7. Why? He's not beating out Watkins, Woods, Harvin, Easley, Goodwin, Hogan,Thigpen or Lewis so what is the point?
  8. Per Rapaport he would not be eligible for the draft next year and would be a free agent Crabtree technically still had college eligibility (even though he couldn't play per NCAA rules) which Collins does not.
  9. Is that even possible? I mean people don't get drafted all of the time and they are just UDFA. Once eligible for the draft you can't just re-enter the next year. Right? This isn't baseball. Edit: Guess that's not right. Wow.
  10. Everyone ripped Maybin for looking like a strong safety instead of a DE/LB. Gregory is the exact same listed size and looks even thinner to me.
  11. I might take my daughter if I can find something suitable for the other non Bills fan daughter to do. I've heard it was a bit of a drunken good time in years past but without a first round pick I would hope it to be more family friendly.
  12. Most "experts" don't think he'll even be drafted mainly due to a huge learning curve and being 27 already. I'd be all over him as a priority FA though.
  13. Spikes is our FA. Even if we re-sign him today it would have no impact on compensatory picks,
  14. Yeah that's what the posting sounded like but also talked about leadership skills and such and is a "coordinator" instead of rep or agent. I didn't have my hopes up but who wouldn't want to work for the Bills? haha
  15. I am being laid off this spring/summer and have over ten plus years of customer service management experience. Totally applied. Talk about good timing. Sounds more entry level from the job description but how can I not check it out?!?
