  1. Yes, Dennis Byrd is another inspiration. I was watching that game. Honestly, it didn't look as serious as it turned out. He did a face plant, was out, then they strapped him down and carted him off the field. From the standpoint of shock value, Willis' injury "looked" much worse. They should both be inspirations to all of us. But, Willis is back playing football for the BILLS! It's amazing to see him out there completing. Go Willis Go!
  2. After this Sunday's outstanding performance by Willis, I thought it would be intriguing to look back and see just how far this young man has come since his injury. WARNING: Don't watch if you are sqweemish. Willis Injury Clip Travis, I love ya man! But Willis has earned our hearts by coming back from such a horrific injury. Show us the stuff Willis. We're with you!
  3. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's the curse of old unlucky number 13. We're Dooooooooooomed!
  4. Henry might get more traction if he were wearing 4" spiked heals....
  5. I hope you guys are right. I'll hold out until mid season before declaring it a loss. But... I hope JP heals fast. I don't think he is our savior by any means, but this team needs a change in an important offensive position. I'm not bashing Drew, I think he is still an acceptable QB, but with our poor blocking by the OL, Backs and TE's, we need someone more decisive and quicker to react. DB's problem, imho, is not that he is a statue, it is that he takes waaaaaayyyyy too long to make his reads and get rid of the ball. They gave him 4 secs on the clock in pre-season... that's still too long for all but the longest routes in an NFL game. One step, two step, three step... bang. Where are the timing routes? Is it coaching? Or is DB incapable of adjusting to a timing offense? I don't know, but it would be an interesting experiment to put Matthews in there for a game and see what he does. (No, he's not our savior either, but it would be interesting.) Heal quickly JP!
  6. Give me a........B Give me a........L Give me a........E Give me a........D Give me a........S Give me a........O Give me a........E What's it spell.... DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!
  7. My uncle once dressed in a very unique costume for an all adult party. He took a sheet, painted it black, then cut a hole in the middle large enough for his head. He then covered his head in white plastic, threw a new toilet seat around his neck, covered his head in chocolate pudding with chopped peanuts... He was a stevestojan head! You'd fit right in around this board...
  8. I agree, it's not over... BUT, I cannot lump Henry in with DB. DB is a SERIOUS problem right now. You cannot blame Henry for our troubles. Other teams have us figured out. Put 9 in the box and run blitz like crazy. You'll either stop the run quickly or you will get to DB, cuz he needs 4-5' of seperation from every receiver before he will throw them the ball. He is just too inaccurate to throw balls into tight coverage and waits too long for receivers to "get open." An NFL QB should not need that much seperation. If you have 6" on a defensive back in the NFL, you're open. DB just can't get them the ball.
  9. And you know this how? Were you at the game? Cuz you sure as heck couldn't tell this from watching the same game on TV that I did. The problem... DB needs his receivers to get 4-5 feet of seperation before he is willing to pull the trigger. He sits and waits, and waits, and waits... No, nothings changed. If his #1 target is not available, he can't make the play. Why, because he needs the receiver to get wide open to complete a throw. He is simply not accurate enough to make the tight throws into coverage. Yes, I have been a DB backer... But no more. It is my humble opinion that much of this game was indeed HIS FAULT.
  10. ASSCLOWN! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

  12. NO, NO, NO... THIS, is just stupid. Go back to Miami, you dolefan scum. Henry is not the problem. The above quote may be the single biggest piece of stevestojan, I have ever seen written on this board. You gotta be kidding me! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  13. In my humble opine... Donahoe has assembled some nice talent and has filled the seats. Mr. Wilson is a happy man, cuz he's makin money. Donahoe is in for the long haul... unless, you local boys and girls start talkin with your wallets. Quit buying tickets and send Mr. Wilson a message. Better yet, take you ticks down to the stadium and turn them back in. Show up at the stadium in mass next week with the TV camera's on and turn in your tickets, demanding a refund. That'll send a message, eh?
  14. Common dude, Henry is NOT the problem here. The OL actually did a decent job, the problem was, as it was all last season, DB. He could have easily gotten rid of many of those balls earlier. The answer to solving the Bills offense is get pressure on DB. He can't check down and make decisions quickly enough. He rips that defense ONE time on one of those all out blitz packages and whole game changes. But alas, he cannot do it and we will continue to suck and all around DB will look bad until he is gone.... oh god, I'm starting to sound like Spiked...
  15. I'm with you Bro's. I was a DB supporter, but I've fallen off the wagon hard. He is toast! We need to move in another direction and quickly. The season is NOT over, but it is if DB is still at the helm. We need a spark, some passions from our QB. He just has nothing left in the tank. Sorry Drew, I love ya as a person, but as OUR QB you gotta go.
  16. Agreed! But I think you will see a whole different team under a new QB. Hope JP heals quick. I found myself wishing for DB to get hurt for the season yesterday so that Matthews would come in. He certainly aint the answer, but at this point, I think the ballboy would do better than DB.
  17. You hit it on the head! Bledsoe is the problem here. There is no fire, no leadership from this position. We need a general on the field. What we are getting from Drew is a Corporal (punishment that is...) JP will turn this around and show everyone why Drew should have retired long ago. Before you say it... I was a Drew supporter, but I have fallen OFF the wagon hard. He SUCKS! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  18. Common guys, give it a rest... Eric "GOD" Moulds dropped 4 balls he should have had. Nobody on offense executed well, but that has to come from the top. Bledsoe does not exactly instill confidence in any of his receivers. When a receiver dropped a ball for ole Jimmy boy, what did he do? He gave him hell, told him to shake it off, then threw to him again to get the receiver's head back in the game. Did Bledsoe? Where is the leadership?
  19. Hate to admit it, but count me in too. Bledsoe should be tarred and feathered. Grab the pitchforks, I've got the tourches.....
  20. Prayers dude... very admirable.
  21. Bottom Line: It never went to criminal trial because the evidence was insufficient. Her story fell apart and you will never know all the details. Did he screw up... sure. He committed adultry - that's between him and his wife. Let it rest!
  22. Call a Parent/Teacher conference first. Talk to her and tell her what you have told us. By all means... leave your child at home. This is a discussion best had between adults. If the problem persists, go to the principle and have your child switched. You goal here, unlike what many of the opinions here seem to suggest, is to get a better atmosphere for YOUR child, not to get the teacher fired or re-assigned. Get your facts straight, hear her side of things and let her know how your son feels in class. He should not be subjected to the intimidation. She obviously feels she needs that to 'control' the class. She doesn't and needs to change her tactics. Like someone else said, she may not even realize her behavior is unsuitable to 3rd graders. Tell her!
  23. And what is wrong with WHITE guys... Racist!
