Isn't it great - we all wanted to run the guy a couple of years ago...now he is indispensible....Maybe we ought to cut Hardy some slack - look at how much we have come to depend on Reed....for what it is worth, i think the kid form Kentucky will be a fine fill in...Hardy - does not know how to run routes or use his body yet...

O-Line is filled with mistakes in free agency & draft

If we draft a center that early - I am joining that guy as a Tennesee fan...We have way too many premium needs - OLB, OT, DE, TE.... -
With Whitner & Schoebel out for the next month...

Thank you cynical - my apologies to Fairchild wherever he may be....Fewell would be the inept coorinator... -
With Whitner & Schoebel out for the next month...
Kipers Hair replied to Kipers Hair's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just being realistic - Whitner has a seprated shoulder - he plays a position that requires him to hit someone...hard. If he plays before 4 weeks are up, it would be a small miracle. Schoebel - now they are coming clean and admitting it is worse than thought/advised and ife he does not progress, surgery may be called for and he is done for the year...I think 4 weeks is a reaosnable expectation....If I am wrong, I will issue the standard TBD apology. -
Arguably our only pash rusher and best defender out - Is Fairchild equipped to coach up what we have on the roster? Schoebel's absense has shown we cannot rush the passer with what we have, so I would think they will sorely miss their best defender in Whitner....Going out on a limb and calling for all 4 to be dropped....
-
8 - 8 - Fairchild becomes the skape-goat and get's fired. In an odd twist, we hire Wade Phillips to come in and coordinate the defense....

Plane....plane dammit. It's an airport. Stay on point here would you.

His knees have 2-3 years left after that Evli Knievel stunt he pulled a couple of years ago...not worth more than a 4th....

I am note sure that playing inferior talent is the solution...

This place you describe is Shanga La - warm weather, stocked bar, beautiful naked woman and 8-0 sound good to me. I am on the bankwagon with a packet full of crumpled singles. Meanwhile, you denizens of TBD and zuba clad army of the north, enjoy your Cheese covered Waffle Fries, 24 Carot Gold, Ample Woman and .500 record. If the guy who dresses as Elvis with the guitar identifies himself, I will quietly leave this website and have all priviledges voided. I have similar committments form Pass-the-Pipe and the Red Dragon. Thank You

While the reality of what this team is capable of is still fresh in my head; Patriots - 27 Bills - 16 QB Trent - 17 / 28, 256 yards - 1TD / 1INT - Sacked 4 Times Kassell - 22 / 35, 225 yards - 2 TD / 0 INT - Sacked 0 Times RB Lynch - 15 / 80 - 1 lost Fumble Jackson - 8 / 30 Green-Ellis - 12 / 40 - 1 TD Faulk - 10 / 56 WR Evans - 4 / 76 - TD Hardy - 1 / 8 Moss - 7 / 150 - 2 TD Welker - 9 / 75 Let's be honest, every week, Kassell is getting more uncomfortable and every week, the Bills are slipping back to what they were last year - .500 team with hopes on sneaking out a couple of wins to get ot the playoffs. After this one, we'll blame Lynch and the O-Line for their poor play and once again, forget the fact we simply do not have the horses or coaching to oversome the shortfalls in personnel to be a good enough tam in this league...

The Bills had early success this year as they took some of their competition by surprise. The AZ game showed other tema - harrass Edwards, enough and he does crack a bit. On defense, they shined a bright light on the fact that the Bills LB corp lines up very tight to the line of scrimmage, making them susceptable to the short slant. What they drop off of this we are easily taken for 5 yards a pop on the run. It's an easy read for the opposing QB's to make and it has worked against us with much regularity. On offense, we are doing nothing to keep the opposing defense off bal;ance enough to mitigate the blitzing - opponents almost get to pin the ears back from the opening gun... I think the team has the weapons to fight this, but they need to be coached up. On defense - the lack of a bonified stud on the DL will prevent them from being any more that an average D week in and week out. If anyone wants to place "blame" on this early test of the Organization, the coaching staff comes first, (lack of read/react ability and planning) and the personnel man/men. Need better tools on Defense....

Wow - Nice job getting in there. It's plainly evident that mort is a complete Homer...though I really do admire his loyalty to his friends. In the end though, a blind mand can see Donohoe did a horrible job with his time in Buffalo.

WHEN WILL DONTE GIVE UP A BIG PLAY???

WHEN WILL DONTE WHITNER MAKE A PLAY
Kipers Hair replied to TheBlackMamba's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never - he'll never live up to the lofty expectations set with where he was selected...Probably in a can't win scenerio here in buffalo.... -
I guess it depends on your preference - If I were running the offense, I would rather ramp up the Lynch carries and down throttle Jackson's, using him as a change of pace rather than the breadwinner - similar to what the Giants have in Jacobs... Perhaps my personal preference is driven by the draft choice we spent on him though...
-
I don't hate him at all - I am of the opinoon Mershawn is a much better option. This argument is the same as when Dallas had Marion Barber and Jones - look at what Barber does when he get's it 20+ a game...that is what great backs do. This argument is like when the Bills had Davis and Thurman and there were some that thought we should let Thurman go and make Davis the feature back...just plain stupid.
-
We play fred too much....Why on earth was he in there on first and goal within the 10 on our first drive? I think fred is a nice compliment, but you drafted your workhorse - use him as such...this coaching staff is too damn cutesy...
-
This is the vision of the NFL - parity on any given Sunday.... (Plus injuries to guys like Brady, Tomlinson, and other key players bring the leaders back to the pack...).
-
Playoffs?....Playoffs? You don't get there with a 9-7 record...
-
Remember - he is/was tight with Tom Donohoe - thought the Bills organization screwed him....

As a QB who does Edwards most remind you of

Another undersized LB...great....
