Exciting news - the inmates run the asylum known as the Tampa Bay Buccanears. Mark this, that team will be a medicore team like the Bills for years. Chuckie is a good coach - todays players are whinney little b-tches... They shoulld fear their coach.... I am not saying this appraoch is applicable in all business, but the NFL andmost major sports - damn straight.

Looks like Drew's draft stock is rising with all these guys staying in school waiting on the 2010 cap free year for their killing, so in a sense, good for UB. At last report, I think the great Mel had him as the 4th best SR QB out there... That said, I think this years draft is going to be heavily watered down by marginal guys entering the draft early because they have less competition...should make for an interesting pre-draft off season...

Wow - when I lived in Dallas, I was a Star Telegram fan - loved the rants of Randy Galloway. What is happening is too bad - the lack of cometition will dumb down the products out there...

I agree that you build champions with the big men up front on both sides of the ball - but we are NOT going to drop much coin on OL in free agency again (ask Ralph how Marv spent his money the 1st time around). We/They f-cked this team by passing on guys like Hlati Ngata, Broderick Bunkle, Tommy Harris, Joe Staley, Ben Grubbs or Bryant McKinney for the likes of Dante Whitner, Lee Evans, Mershawn Lynch, John McCargo and Mike Williams. Look, Whitner, Lynch and Evans are nice players - but safety's, running backs and receivers do not win championships. How much different would we look if we would have Fred Jackson as our starter and Joe Staley starting at RT or Lt or even ben Grubbs? How about no Roscoe parrish, but having Adam Terry? As much as I like Evans, i would rather have Tommy Harris lining up in the missle of our D line. I hate to say it, but a vast number on this board thought we should have taken the guys listed when we had the chance, but that ship has sailed... until this team get's some form of direction and has a clear identity, we will continue to flounder....

Well - nothing has changed, so you are right - we'll be doing this for another XX months until we get some new meat to tenderize...Unless of course we pick up a Center, that appears to be the missing piece between our rather bland football existance and something markedly better....

I really think this shows how much you know about football - Brian has been and is one of the more highly regarded safetys to have played the game...this is nonsense....I suppose he is no comparison to the greatness that is Dante Whitner or that was Mark Kelso?

No way to quantify, but I think it hurt greatly. When you have to start your backups, it's a drop in performance. Who knows, maybe worth no wins, 2 wins...etc...

Not at all - It's refreshing to get new blood in there...Don;t you think the rest of the naiton would have sighed if the Bills made it? It's all good for the game....high potent attack against tough D....Rookie QB vs Aged hero...a lot of good stories in there....

Isn't this argument the same as large market sporting teams forrowing monies to the small market one's? Should we get rid of the Giants and Cowboys to generate more wealth for the Bills? I think it is a far more complex problem than most on this board are qualified to offer much more than an empassioned opinion on because you care about your city.

Just got through the most recent issue of SI - I am tagging this article by Mitch Albom as I think it runs distinct parallels to WNY and this topic - the good and the bad. I know there is truth in the fact that WNY is burdoned some by downstate (specifically NYC and Long Island), however, the structure of city and country government combined with years of corruption in both arean's has as much to do with WNY's situation as do it's ties to the Metro areas the State government focuses on. Enough blaming others for the current situation - WNY has dysfunctional government and sorry for themselves citizens that need to get over it and do something about it....Shackles off...listen Kunta Kinte - it starts with you...
