  1. Been saying this since the draft...taking him when we did is like buying fancy rims and tires for a Hyundai Elantra...stupid. The man does NOTHING great - runner, receiver, kick returner, blocker...why on Earth did we think he woudl set the world on fire... Oh yeah, he played in the SEC.
  2. Have no fear - if you play at some little sh-t school in the middle of nowhere or the SEC...the Bills Brass is ready and willing to reach for you...He'll be all ours in the 3rd round.... That means we'll take him early - 2nd maybe....
  3. This sums it up..."he'll develop into a good change of pace back..." - YOU DONT TAKE this in the top 10!!!! Especially when your team sucks.
  4. So...in your opinion, Spiller's talents merit a 9th overall pick? On his best day, he's a Reggie Bush clone and most agree, he was a bust...what makes Spiller any better? He went a little later in the first round? Guys of his ilk/talent are more 2nd-4th rounders, not top 10 picks. In the right circumstances, the guy is a third down back and need-a-break fill in....
  5. Between Lynch's success and Jason Peters virtues being extolled...really feeling good about the Bills front office these days... On an unrelated note, why the sh-tty games on Thursday nights...first this one, then next week, Pittsburgh vs Cleveland....yeah!
  6. Finally...somebody is making sense around here.
  7. You rookie...you get it. At that spot, I thought it would be Gronkowski...talk about haunting the Bills now. Anyway, I thought if they went DT, Linvall Joseph would be better...now he's with the Giants, but I am not sure he is doing more than TT...
  8. I read something last week were the venerable Mel Kiper had him as the best LB all year, then dropped him to two based on last weeks implosion with two crappy personal fouls and the benching...It all means nothing until after the combine anyway...hope he plays int he bowl game - makes it must see football...
  9. The guys is worth watching just for the explosions...he's a bad wreck waiting to happen. That said, I hear there is a chance he does not even play in the bowl game...apparently, he did the usual and imploded in their last game, warranting a benching for the final half. I hope he plays as he alone is worth the price of admission. As to the Bills - in all seriousness - if he checks out at the combine and on the Wonderlic test, after Andrew Luck and perhaps Justin Blackmon - there is nobody else I would want ahead. He can slide to the strong side in a heartbeat and immediately add somethign we are missing...fire. Sure, he'll get fined, (many times), and suspended a couple of times, but for the sheer viewing experience, nobody draws more interest for me...
  10. Two words - Vontaze Burfict.
  11. Disappointing on the verge of devastating...I think even the front office would agree. I dont think they would have put together such a lucrative contract for Fitz had they not thought the first half of the season was real...
  12. Aint it the truth - at 11, you dont take a guy who can do only one thing good. It's like taking an OT who can't run block there....That's why these guys go in the 3rd, 4th, etc...
  13. Exactamundo Fonzi. True Billeivers are the oil that sooths the squeeking of the rest of us....
  14. Denver - Only because management wont commit to Tebow despite the record...it would make for a great lead in to the big game...
  15. While the game was one - took dogs to get nails cut, took kids to pick out birthday cake, picked up Christmas decorations for house, repaired a bathroom fan, repaired a kitchen faucet....then had nothing left to do but watch the damn game.... Like clockwork....
  16. Barbarian - but remember a scant 4 weeks ago when there was hope and things were so much better? Wasn't it a bit more of a joy ride and fun to follow? I have grown accustomed to expecting the worst, but the buzz of the first half of the season reminded me of what it was like to root for a winner. I was there for the best of times in the late 80's and 90's...but the past 10+ years had faded that feeling...the first half of this year was a reminder of much better times, that again, proved to be more of the smoke and mirrors kind resulting in the current malaise I suffer...
  17. I remember doing this - but have realized over the past 10 years, it is feudal as it will end up one of three ways (1) The player looks good and continues development to the point where the Bills cannot re-sign them (2) The player sucks and is ultimately rightfully waived and (3) The player is of marginal skill, realizing nobody else will pay them more to sign there come free agency, they re-sign with the Bills and we continue mediocrity. The bandwagon I am getting on now if the one championed by the likes of Pass The Pipe - nothing changes until the old man is no longer the owner of this organization...
  18. I know some might be juiced by some of the life shown today, but frankly, the best I can muster for this organization right now is apathy. I finished watching the game off of the Tivo box a couple of minutes ago...basically fast forwarding through much of it...partly because I knew the score at the half, but mostly because I really have given up. It's sad it has come to this again...
  19. You boys watch...unless he comes away with a Wonderlic like CJ - he will be a first round pick...he simply does things that cannot be coached. We need the fire on this team...with Marriman gone - we have no fire and I am not certain he will be back...
  20. Yes...if somehow Von Miller were available...I am all in...
  21. We need someone with a fire in his belly who is willing to take a 15 yarder to send a message. Two words - Vontaze Burfict. Do yourself a favor while your digesting turkey wondering what happened to our season - check out Vontaze's highlites on Youtube...some of the hits with scare you. We need this fire on Defense...not since TKO and before him Leanard Smith did we have that kind of maniac running around for us. Granted, he's nuts, but I have had enough of the scholarly white guys who are great workout warriors and locker room leaders...
