If the draft ended right now - 5th round, it's an A+ by the organization...unquestionably we are a better team today than Thursday at 7:00PM. Well done Bills...
Wasn't throwing darts....if you go back to 2013...same sources led me to the trade and drafting of EJ Manual. Just wish I had some insight into rounds 2 & 3...
over the past 3 years, SJ13 has been good...but how many critical drops at the wrong time? Considering they will want to resign Spiller, they are going to need SJ's contract monies...
Sammy Watkins has potential to redefine wideout position in the NFL

Apr 15, 2014 - Clemson's Sammy Watkins is either going to be a prospect who changes the game when it comes ... Robert Beck/Sports Illustrated/The MMQB.
When you obtain one of the unquestioned studs in this draft...it's never a bad thing. I think most of the pundits don't feel as good about our roster as a Bills fan does. If we land a starting RT and a rotational DE, it's an A+ draft...
You have to marvel at what the NFL draft has become. I remember when I was in collage, missing class the day of the draft to watch it on ESPN...in the morning - first year I watched the Bills take Shane "skinny calves" Conlin.
Amazing - today, you have Peter King with an online show, NFL Network with live coverage since noon and ESPN running multiple draft shows...Effing amazing spectacle. Kudo's NFL - well done.
If they stay at 9 and they are available, (in this order) - Matthews, Ebron, Evans, Mosely, Shazier...if they trade up - Mack, Clowney, Watkins...if they trade down - Mosely, Shazier, Beckham, Martin, Pryor, Su'a-Filo
Let's call it an educated guess than. You do understand the draft is a very fluid event - even while it is happening, there are "Holy Sh-t" moments in a war room where the best of laid plans go up in smoke due to someone taking your guy(s) 15 spots too soon...
Of course it is a guess...while I might have resources, I am not in the employ of the beloved Bills. I am still holding the line on what was reported to me - the Bills are trading their 1st and potentially 2nd plus Stevie J to move into the top 4...
Huges is marginal as a 4-3 DE...failed in that role in Indy.
Oh...I like this. A man who is literally giving the one finger solute to the NFL know it alls calling out Sammy as anything but special. Well done, Bill...well done. As I have done already, I am casting my lot on Mike Evans - I think he ultimately lacks the nimbleness to be an effective wide out and will find himself more in the Shannon Sharpe roll in a couple of years...still contributing, but not the WR stud projected to be...
With a day to go, I am starting to see reporting from Rapaport reporting something close to this...I hear this is still on the table, but they are engaging the Rams and Raiders as well. Final guess tomorrow...
Every other Bill is in Buffalo working out as a team, this jack-wagon is in Alabama getting high. I hate to say it, he is yet another Alabama player who peaked at collage and has no interest in working on his craft....
Word is, whomever they take, it will be a safe pick...odds are good for either Mack or Matthews here...

With regards to Polian - I think he is still very relevant. I do like his intel, interesting in that he has said, does not like OT's early in the draft, and he will always make the safe pick over a risky "upside" type player...
