BTW, Joe Bonamassa will be playing at Shea's in Buffalo this Winter. I'll be seeing him at this venue (which I've been wanting to visit for awhile now): Joe B at The Amp in St Augustine

If you ever get the chance to see Buddy perform at his own club (Buddy Guy's Legends )in Chicago, I'd highly recommend it! I've seen him there twice and it's awesome.

First saw KWS in Minneapolis when he was 19. Probably seen him 15 times since. Guess you could say my wife and I are fans. Completely agree that KWS himself isn’t much for vocals (but believe it or not, is improving!). Also agree that he’s a superior guitarist and that his music trends a bit more blues/rock with even some country vibes, than straight ahead blues. That said, I’d completely agree with SMH that Noah Hunt has a very good voice. They’ve been together for a long time and Hunt’s vocals have been a large part of the band’s success. KWS himself said as much in a Guitar Center Sessions interview several years ago. If you’re judging Hunt’s voice as a bluesman, he isn’t Buddy Guy, or Keb Mo or Howlin’ Wolfe or any of the classic greats. But IMO, his voice is perfect for KWS band and the music they play.

With the Euro basically at par with the US$, it's actually $190 bucks plus tax. Tough to beat. Only issue is that it's about 30 seconds or so behind the US broadcast.

I was at that game as well. The sound of the hit reverberated through the stadium. I remember the whole place going silent for an instant. My older brother, like you, also thought Lincoln was dead! Completely changed the game.

Live in person: Kirby Puckett’s walk-off HR in the 11th inning of game 6 of the 1991 World Series forcing the decisive game 7 the next night. I as at that game as well: Jack Morris’ 10 inning shutout gem of the Braves to win it all. Unbelievable 24 hours for this lifelong Twins fan.

VERY clever but transparent attempt by the aliens to deflect attention away from their existence. Heck, even the host is obviously an ALIEN!!!

$16.00 for 10 here in Bonita Springs. But $10.00 for 10 on Mondays. Good wings though - the owner is from BUF.

Isaac's little brother? 😇 I keed, I keed. -
I've always liked old-fashioned wrist watches. These are two that I honestly wear quite often. I especially like the one on the right.

Ok. I get that it can probably be jury-rigged. But part of my point is that it should be facing the other way in the first place.

Not sure that work as the material where the grommets are located is usually reinforced.

Have you ever tried to buy a Bills flag (charging Buffalo logo) where the Buffalo is facing forward? It seems that on all the flags I can find, the Buffalo is facing backwards when the wind is blowing. I find this really strange.

Have you ever seen one of your teams go all the way?

Yep. Was at the 1964 AFL Championship. It was awesome! I was a Twins fan growing up in Buffalo because of Harmon Killebrew. As an adult (sort of lol) I moved to Minnesota on a job transfer. One of the first things I did was get Twins season tix. We were lucky enough to be at all of the 1987 and 1991 Playoff and World Series games. Twins won it all both years. Our seats for the '91 season were 7 rows above the Twins dugout along the 3rd base line. Game 7 (Jack Morris vs John Smoltz) is recognized as one of the greatest WS games ever. Morris was absolutely incredible tossing a 10 inning shutout for the win. I'll never forget it. -
Gary Clarke Jr at Red Rocks in May. Bucket list venue for us!

On a lark a couple years ago, we decided to check out a concert by this band who we'd never heard of. Definitely "unique". Squirrel Nut Zippers

Had to look up the date! I grew up in North Buffalo and in 1969 my buddies & I hung out quite a bit at UB. On September 16, 1969, we saw Alice Cooper in the Fillmore Room at Norton (Student) Union. We had no idea what we were gonna see. The show literally blew our minds. It was nothing like it turned out to be when he became famous but it was undoubtedly psychedelic! Best part was that the student ticket price was $2.00. We had 4 bucks between the four of us but the lady at the ticket window must have felt sorry for us and gave us 4 tickets "by mistake". So we saw Alice Cooper for a buck.

I listened and think he was pretty upfront and candid TBH. He frankly stated that he expected the run game to be further along by now. On a related note: I listen to PCs from a couple other teams now and then and I don't understand why the Bills can't figure our how to have the reporters' questions be more audible. Other teams seem to have this figured out.

Collinsworth was almost impossible to listen to.

I do this for just about every game. With my DVR, I can easily sync the audio/video. I may be a few seconds behind but it saves SO much mental aggravation during the game. I highly recommend it! -
We don't go too often - maybe 3-4 times per year. Usually local but maybe once to either LV or Biloxi. My wife got a wild hair one night and suggested we go the new casino in MN (where we lived at the time). It was Saturday night of Labor day weekend. I sat down at a quarter video poker machine playing to win a car. $1.25 per pull. I hit the Royal on the 8th spin.

That game! 2 week road trip back to Minnie/Wisc (we used to live in Minnie and my wife is from WI.). NFL scheduled the Bills back-2-back at Vikings and at Packers so we just had to do both games. Having lived there for 27 years, I knew a lot of Vikings fans who were extremely confident about their chances that day. Our seats were waaayyy up there and had a bunch of younger MN fans sitting behind us who enjoyed giving us crap all pre-game. They left their seats at halftime and never came back. As others have posted, that game was first time I really thought that JA might finally be the guy. Fantastic post-game party with the Bills Backers of MSP, Kenny, Pancho and the whole crew. Then on to Lambeau with my wife's Wisconsin family. Great experience at Lambeau! Very knowledgeable fans who had no problem poking some good-natured jabs at us. That game was a complete disaster. By early in the second quarter, people around us were asking how the Bills beat the Vikings the week before. My simple answer was: "because the Vikings suck". I received zero disagreement. As bad as they were in GB, nothing could ruin the feeling of the Bills going into the Vikes new building and kicking the snot out of them. -
Over here on the west coast, we can get Labatts at any Publix. Even had it on BOGO a couple years back! They've never done that again. Every WNY'er here who I know stocked-up big time! 😂
