  1. Glad it's resolved. Water problems are the worst. Now, get to work on that HD theater man ! Nothing like Bills footbal on a massive screeen in hi-def!!!
  2. Hypothetically speaking only, I'd take him back. I think that he'd be a great back-up at a reduced salary. But I truly believe that he believes that he's still got game and will convince some team somewhere that he does.
  3. I know, way too long. And it looks like no Sabres game for a long time to come so who knows when the group will all get over toward your side of the metro. How's the basement issue...all resolved? New theater in yet?
  4. Yep, two Goldies and a black Lab. One Goldie and the Lab are 12 and other Goldie has lived to 5 so far, . She's the one that makes you say: "last dog, ever!". Actaully, she's a great dog just too darn smart and has a mind of her own, that's all.
  5. Thanks Chris! Wish you & Jen could have made the party.
  6. That was at our house for our Bills Backers Holiday Party. We had over 50 people by the time it was over. What a blast that day was! "The shoes" is a fun picture and our dogs always love it when we have a Bills party. They get lots of table scaps but no wing bones!!! I love the ride but like I told Thailog, can't hardly drive it here on the tundra.
  7. THAT would be a medical miracle
  8. '04 Magnetic Red 'Vette convertible = baby
  9. You betcha! Although we've had such a dry mild winter I've actually taken her out once each month to keep the battery charged and heat-up the trany and all the fluids. All that really does is make me made that I live where I can only drive 'er for 6 months. At least that helps keep the mileage down How you doin'?
  10. Really wanted DB back as back-up but Drew wants to start... JP will learn a lot from Wyche and TC this off season... Says veteran players will back the move... JP won't leave OBD. Studying film alll day. He's really excited... No deals imminent for TH... There will be more Offensive position changes before this offseason is over that will improve production... Right time for JP. Big Ben's success only reinforced their decision... That's really all he said but I found it interesting that he said that there WILL be additonal changes on the O this offseason.
  11. Are those your only choices? I know that you can fly direct to Frankfurt on NWA from Detroit with no stops or layovers and some great fares right now. I always prefer to make my connections in the US (if I must connect) and then take the non-stops accross to my destination. Just a thought.
  12. Man, I'd go blind reading that board on a consistent basis! Change the color scheme, would ya please!
  13. Caffe Sport in North Beach. A Sicilian restaurant, VERY casual with a limited menu. The absolute best pasta con pesto that I've ever had. Cash only. No reservations. You've gotten great advice from all of these folks. We've been going to SF for over 20 years at least once or twice each year but spend most of our time in the wine country. If you are into wine, PM me and I'll give you a long list of wineries that I'll tailor to the types of wine that you enjoy.
  14. The problem is, your original logic on making your picks is flawed. Hence: you lose all season long and then would have lost the play-off games if you had you followed your initial analysis on each game. Perhaps you should take-up handicapping reality TV shows...save you a lot of money
  15. My $.02: Minus all of the canine psychology, just keep your dog on a leash. I've been lucky with our labs and retrievers at our dog park as they have not been aggressive but I know that if they exhibit aggression, they'd be leashed, period EOS.
  16. I also understand that Dell uses more "off the shelf" components while, Sony, HP and IBM use more proprietary components making them more expensive and difficult to repair. Someone with better understanding than me should comment but that's again, what I'm told.
  17. I respectfully disagree, having had both in the past 18 months. While the Sony had superior graphic and picture quality, it was less than perfect for real business uses like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc. My Sony was ok but I find my new Dell just, well...better. It's faster, smoother and just feels better when using regular MS programs. However, this just could be a XP vs. 2000 Professional issue too. Bottom line: I loved my Sony but really love my Dell.
  18. I haven't had to use their support yet but am told that Dell is moving much of their toll-free support back to the USA due to a lot of complaints about their off-shore support staff (like: I can't understand an 'effin' word you just said!) Hardware is top 'o the line IMHO.
  19. Namath... LMFAO!!!
  20. Dell, Dell, Dell...Did I mention that I think that you should buy a Dell???
  21. Duh... I know this is not a revelation but the darn Pats just keep getting the job done. Before this game I stated the obvious to my Vikes' fans friends: NE will stop the run and make Chopped Beef beat them. Rookie can't do it. I knew it, you knew it and the Steelers new it. Didn't matter. I dunno, it's discouraging to watch this again. Bills need to beat these guys our first meeting next year to have a chance...Darn, just a very good football team. I can't see Philly beating the Pats right now. Maybe losing their coordinators will make a difference in the future. At this point, it's hats off to NE.
  22. I don't tip for carry-out and am not sure what "curbside" is. But like you, I'm curious if others tip for carry-out.
