  1. When the Bills drafted Graham I joked, you mean TY Hilton not TJ Graham. Graham was lower on my radar than Tommy Streeter. It was a weird pick at the time. The pick led directly to a L in the Pats game so it has to go down and was one of the worst picks in Bills history so far, and that is saying something. Seriously, did they think they were drafting TY Hilton? It could have been one collosal screw up that may come out years latter. I didn't make the same mistake in my dynasty league. I snatched Hilton up in the 3rd round of the expansion draft. Luck loves him some Hilton and hopefully will continue for years to come.
  2. Why do we think there is a cap problem. I thought Ralph and Jay were cheap.
  3. I hate the list of FA WRs and TEs. No to all. And yes to resigning Byrd and Levitre at any dollar amount. They are the Top 5 in the NFL at their position and should be paid as much. McKelvin can walk its ok. He will want Byrd money at a minum and he is not worth it. As for the WR. I agree. I hated Da Jones in his rookie year but he is actually developed into a nice 3rd option WR. That being said I love Stevie, but we have a QB that can't throw and a WR that can't a run fast (Stevie) and a Coach that can't the ball into his best player's hands (Spiller). In order for the Bills to have a legitimate chance at playoffs in 2013 we need an upgrade in 2\3 positions. That doesn't mean get rid of SJ13 or Da. Jones that means augment and add to them.
  4. 13 year and counting of futility.
  5. I just think that McGahee, Lynch, Joique Bell is a better backfield than Fred Jackson, Spiller, Tachard Choice everytime I see Lynch.
  6. Oh yeah how can I forget the mid season extention before the Arizona game.
  7. The longest tenured Buffalo Bills coach this Millenium is 2.8 Seasons. You think coaching candidates don't know that?
  8. So if David Shaw quits after two years of being HC at Stanford than he is not a quitter, Where as Saban is a quitter after being HC for only two years for the Dolphins?
  9. This thread is Hilarious. "No, he is a quitter" Get the hell out of here. Does he give the Bills a better chance of winning the Super Bowl? Yes. That is the answer to the question. Will he give the Bills a better chance to win than Mike Mularkey, Ggregggg Williams, Dick Mauron, Chan Gayley and some other talentless cast-off like Cam Cameron? Yes.Yes.Yes.Yes.Yes. The stupidity is sometimes overwhelming. In reality does Buddy Nix and Whaley have a realistic chance of wooing Saban to the NFL. Um, I'd say not freaking likely. So to the "No, he is a quiter" herd. You won't have to worry.
  10. No I didn't say run the ball. Tell Spiller its not his turn. Now he'll have to wait until next game to carry the ball because he lied. Nice! The sad part is that actually happened. Good one.
  11. Arggghh!!! That would have given me a win in my money league playoffs.
  12. Only the Seattle game is semi-questionable. I don't think you can have a better remaining schedule. So not really following you there. This team will win out for two reasons. 1.) Its worse for the franchise in the long run. 2.) When the game is out of hand the team plays better. I'm going to go with when the season is out of hand the team plays better.
  13. Actually if FJax is retired, Lacy in the 3rd would be a good pick. But that is neither here or there.
  14. I am well aware of where the opponent recives position after a missed FG. You are incorrect, that is not VERY GOOD FIELD position. I would just call Good. I'd leave the VERY for the otherside of the 50. More over if you are worried about field position then go for it. If you come up short they get the ball at the 36. More importantly you give your team a chance to you know win the game by scoring points. Find 3 examples in 2012 of another team punting when inside the 40. I tried. It doesn't happen in the NFL.
  15. Yeah but I would have won real US dollars in my pocket. That is my point.
  16. What is sad is Cam Cameron is exactly the kind of cast of retread that the Bills will hire as the next HC.
  17. I really think the FG-Punt Debacle forced Buddy's hand. This indecision will kill any confidence by the players in the coach and should kill any confidence by the GM in the coach. It was a key factor in contributing to the loss. Every GM in the NFL that saw that chain of events would strike buddy nix off the list of any position that requires a gameday decision. Gailey may have a future as a QB coach in the NFL after Buffalo but that is probably it.
  18. That FG-Punt debacle really turned the corner for me. I didn't think that coaching carousel change was the appropriate course of action for this team. There is clearly talent on this team. Under Jauron and the no GM experiment at OBD there was no talent on the roster. Gailey's continued "strategy" of punting from inside's opponents 40 is unforgivable. Let me give you an example of how an actual NFL's decision option should look when you are 4th and Anything inside an opponents 40 (Meaning your team has driven the ball to the 30s for the people that were fooled by the phrase " inside your opponents 40" ) 1. Kick a FG - Low 50s shouldn't be a problem for an NFL kicker. 2. Well the weather has been bad - we had a botched snap - Lets go for it; Worst case the opponent gets the ball in their 30s which is not ideal field position to start a drive. 3. Seriously those are the only two option in the NFL you can't punt inside the 40. Sack up and Kick the FG or go for it. Flip a coin if you can't decide. 4. I don't think you've really thought this out, You're at the 36 even if you give up a sack on a 4th down attempt its not a big deal. You win by scoring points not by pinning an opponent inside the 20 to start a drive. Go for it or Kick the FG The options go on to about option 100. 100. Okay its 4th and goal at the 39, You should really kick the FG or Go for it, but in this one far off chance that you are in this situation it might be kind of OK - actually no - never mind you should go for it or kick the FG . The option to punt when inside the 40 is taken off the table in the NFL by any competent coach. Gailey has punted from inside the 40 6 times by my count. Then on top of the mind numbing decision to punt on Sunday he did something that has never happened in the NFL and will likely never ever happen again. Well I'll let Jerry sum it up. In the Business world punting from inside the 40 is like showing up to business meeting in your PJs when the meeting requires a suit. It is ground for termination unless there is an extreeme excuse. What Gailey did on Sunday was like showing up to to a business meeting in a suit when the meeting requires a suit, then getting up leaving the meeting and returning in your PJs and with a pacifier in your mouth. It is completely unbelievable that this happened. Gailey also did this in a live game infront of any potential employer for a Head Coaching job. You think anyone is going to hire him as an Offensive Coordinator after seeing that unbelievable piece of coaching? It is an action of a man that is entirely unfit for the position or any position that requires game day decisions in the NFL. Chan Gailey forced Buddy Nix' hand on that move. Buddy Nix cannot allow these game day debacles that happen anymore. Gailey is causing the talent on the team that he assembled to lose. Seriously that whole series is unbelievable. Now who in their right mind wants the Head Coaching job in Buffalo?
  19. Yeah I think Fred Jackson will be back next season. Its not really a horrible injury. Obviously its not body so its easy to say but I don't think this will sideline him for long. Now if he took that time to figure out why he started fumbling that would be helpful. Didn't he have a long streak of touches without a fumble prior to 2012? His two fumbles took points of the board and cost wins they were killer.
  20. So not only did the Bills lose because of that phantom call. Yes the Bills had many other opportunities to win that game. I lost in a money Fantasy Football league because of that call. During the broadcast I don't believe they could find video of Moore's Illegal block in the back. Does anyone have access to the All 22 Video? Can someone take a screen grab of the penalty? It is driving me crazy I'd like to see this penalty with my own eyes. Thanks
  21. I opened the thread just to find out who the OP was and add that turd to an ignore list.
  22. The team is Mentally Chanlleged.
  23. Lets see if you heard this one before. Gailey punts from inside 40. Gailey doesn't go for 2 when it seems necessary Gailey doesn't call plays to get ball to his best offensive player the ball- Spiller George Wilson drops easy interceptions. Defense can't get pressure on QB in crunch time. Defense gives up late TD. Fitz throws 4th QTR interception. Did I miss anything? I feel like this is the 3rd or 4th time I watched this game. I had to double check I wasn't watching the Titans game from the DVR, If this team would just go for it on 4th down inside the 40 or attempt the FG. The Team would probably be 7-6 and sitting in a wild card spot.
  24. Winter is comming and these two will face the stark reality of NFL football in Dec. As winterfeLl we will Watch to Night to see if the glimmer of playoff hope will win or die.
  25. Yeah welcome to 2011. The Bills O-line when healthy is one of the, if not the best in the NFL. Although the right side of this O-line is going to be tested against one of the best D-lines in the NFL on Sunday.
