  1. The Broncos hired a retired HoF QB in the front office and went to the playoffs therefore the Bills should hire Jim Kelly, he is a retired HoF QB. Genius! John Elway is a Stanford educated man. He is an experienced Front Office Football Executive he was an owner in the Arena Football league and served as an executive for the entire Arena Football League. The Broncos job was not his first Football Front Office job. Jim Kelly went to the "The U" and after he retired from football he did a lot of hunting and fishing. John Elway and Jim Kelly have very little in common off the footbal field. Jim Kelly is more like a mascot for the Buffal Bills. I have as much faith in Jim Kelly as a front office executive as I do in Sabretooth as a front office executive for the Sabres. I mean it could work, but I'm not willing to bet the farm on it. I'd be more execited if Jim Kelly were gettinga job in the Arena League to prepare himself for teh NFL. But lets not get too logical about this, woot! Woot! Lets get the band back together!
  2. Winning a Division game is a test of team's manhood. Do you want to put big money on the 5 year old that isn't potty trained or the pre-teen with an attitude problem? I would keep my money far away from this game.
  3. What? TEs are a significant part of this offense. As Top 3 receiver and Chandler broke the record for TD reception by a TE for Buffalo. Why wouldn't a 6-7 monster with decent speed, good hands , and good route running ability not start on a playoff Team? Your post Makes zero sense.
  4. ACL? No big deal. My bet is Scott Chandler with an ACL can run circles around an 80 year old Antonio Gates. And yes I am familiar with Tony Gonzalez. Any draft prospects named Tony or Antonio?
  5. John Gruden pitching Jay Gruden makes the most sense. Russ Brandon being stupid enough to listen to John Grudden talk about Jay Gruden also makes sense. ThiS never actually happening makes the most sense.
  6. You can keep Mike Pettine off the list.
  7. I do not like Glennon at all, so I guess I would hate Bray?
  8. Whoa! Tyler Bray declared. Hmmm I think I now have a horse to root for. I'm not in love Geno, tyler Wilson, Landry Jones but I like. I hate hate hate the midget, toe head from USC. Tyler Bray looked studly when I watched him, I was planning to watch Bray and Manziel closer in 2013. Hmm I'm going to have to go to some research. If he is as good as a I remember in a a few limited games this might be my guy. Anyone watched Bray extensively?
  9. So the OP mentioned Buddy's comments and the thread deveolved into a college QB discussion. It seems to me "you're in the right neighboorhood" would mean you got the QB part correct but not the player. So that would be Tyler Wilson (its strange to see strong negatives against Wilson, is it the whole Petrino thing?) Or Landry Jones into the conversation. None the less I take "you're in the right neighborhood" to mean QB is the 1st round target.
  10. You know #6 playoff seeds, win Super BowlS, right?
  11. Add Raheem Morris and supposedly Jim Hasslett is on the hot seat even though Deadskins defense was devasted with injuries.
  12. With a Competent Coach we win St. Louis, Ten, and probably Indi. With a competent coach and improved QB play. No guarentees but both NE games are on the table, Houston (it was a tight game) If, If and Butts were Candy and Nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone!
  13. 1.) What Trade rumor thread does not include Buffalo? 2.) If somehow Nix decided to give up on one the things he covets most in this world, a Draft Pick, what makes you think Chan Gailey could use Percy Harvin correctly? Percy Harvin will be holding the oxygen mask for CJ Spiller, while Spiller is giving Harvin a temple massage when the Bills have the ball in the red zone. We wouldn't want CJ to get winded or Harvin to breakout with a migrane. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  14. Why would gambling on sports be legal? I think an individual that likely doesn't normally have 200K suddenly obtain a bank account with 200K be a huge red flag. Irs "how did you get 200K?" Moron "oh its just a friendly little NFL survival pool. That's legal right?" IRS "give me that money dumbass."
  15. And then lets take into the costs of the Toronto game against the revenue and oh its lets than $10 a ticket.
  16. 3rd stop QB, thats sounds about right for Buffalo. If Buffalo makes the trade, you do it with the intention to start Tim Tebow. Doing what the Jests have done is stupid. There is enough film to decide if you want him as your starter or if you do not want him as your starter. A team that signs Tim Tebow is saying, "Hey this option thing is working better in the NFL than what was originally thought. We're going to try to run a large percentage of option plays in 2013." But you make that decision prior to trading for signing Tim Tebow. You don't keep him around as a locker room distraction. That is how you plan to lose faith of the players in the direction of lack of direction in the franchise. Buffalo cannot take that risk.
  17. Who cares about the other franchises? It is a joke for the Bills to give up a home game. It is a joke because it is a disadvantage for the Bills. It will be a joke if the Bills win lose or draw. 7 home games every season is a joke.
  18. This may be Eric Woods' ticket out of town but he just took his already fan favorite status to new levels. Thank you Eric its about time someone stepped and said it. This may have topped his comment to Maybin "Give back some of that money you ain’t [expletive] earned!” Heal up and let's get the wolf pack back together for 2013.
  19. FYI this is how the NFL works. Outside of a few good teams each year. The good team collect their wins from the bad teams. Why do you think the winner of he Super Bowl has played the Buffalo Bills in the regular season every year since 2006? They collect two easy wins from Miami and Buffalo and probably a third tough win from the Jests (They were 9-7 in their two AFC Championship runs) The Patriots (Den, Indi, Hou), Texans (Den, Bal, Ind), Ravens (Cin, NE, Dal) all have 3 wins a piece against teams with winning records. The Broncos have 2 (Cinci, Bal) All are division leaders. Only the Patriots beat teams that clinched winning records. The other 3 may end up with 1 win combined against teams with winning record (Ravens win over NE.) The Redskins (Bal, Dal, NYG), beat 3 teams with winning record. Packers (Chi, Chi, Min, Hou) , Houston (Den, NYG, WAS, Dal), 49ers (GB, SEA, CHI, NE) beat 4 teams with winning record. Given Chicago and NYG decline. These numbers are likely going to shrink. Don't get me wrong the Bills suck. But the wins over teams with winning records is a tricky stat to put into proper context.
  20. Update KC - 2-12 Clev - 5-9 Ariz - 4-8 Miami - 5-9 Jax 2-12 Total 18-50 = .265 winning percentage
  21. On the local DC radio. They debating an offer for Cousins of two 2nd round picks. What say you TBD? 2013 & 2014 2nd round pick for Kirk Cousins I liked him comming out of Michigan St. Some of the talk on this board was that they thought he collapsed in big games. He didn't collpase in 2 big NFL games.
  22. You forget to add -Our Drafting sucks. Which leads us to the problem of trading up to draft TJ Graham.
  23. "Wait, you coached in college too? When?" "That's when I coached in college! That's crazy!" "How many BCS bowls did you go to, well that still count, if you know what I mean?" "Zero, Really." "Well nice meeting you, Tell Buddy we'll take CJ Spiller for a 4th too."
  24. Agree 100% with proper game management this team would be atleast 8-6 and sitting in the wild card spot. The talent is there now. With Jauron there was no talent. I agree though I don't loathe Gailey, I did loathe Jauron. I don't wknow hy. I think because with Nix and Gailey you don't feel lied to. They're as straight forward and honest as any GM/coach have ever been in the NFL. The only hope is that we get a higher potential retread or cast off next time around at HC. With the talent on the roster a higher caliber coach may be interested.
  25. I think it completely fair to hate him and let his play prove otherwise. I've hated him since draft day. Still do.
