I am just going to say it, We beat NE in the opener

EJ3 you have quickly made a name for yourself on this board, in a negative way. You're on my watch list for ignore and it really takes a lot to get on that list. You should know that if there are two outcomes for something it does not mean there are 50-50 odds of that thing happening. It is possible that you get hit by an asteroid on your porch. It is also possible that you do not get hit by an asteriod on your porch. That doesn't mean there are 50-50 odds of you getting hit by an asteroid on your porch. -

Its not about being a conformist. Sully is criminally negative and unfair in his rants. Sully sets the tone for National Media coverage and the population of Bills fans. If the local coverage guy thinks One Bills Drive is a hopeless pile of doo-doo, why would the NFL Network or ESPN contradict the local guy? This is where keepin' it in real goes wrong. He needs to help sell Buffalo and the Bills nationally not piss and moan continually. -

The Buffalo News Press Coverage is the best thing to happen to Bills reporting since TwoBillsDrive. Tim Graham's articles are usually extremely well written and insightful. That being said he does respond like Jay and Silent Bob to typical internet BS. I imagine he has a list and The Big Cat is definitely on it. Him being adversarial doesn't effect my opinion of his writing. I like it. JW is much better dealing with the public. I like his writing as well. I feel like JW is a huge contributor on TBD. (Like TG used to be.) If the buffoon's on TBD drove JW away that would be (another) shame. There are plenty of people that I don't personally like but may have insightful opinions and point of view. Liking someone personally or disliking someone personally shouldn't effect judging their work product. I hate Jerry Sullivan because his writing is unfair and extremely negative. I had a drink with him at the bar once. He was ok. Although after reading one of his TP articles I wish I would have tipped him off his barstool. (Not calling The Big Cat a buffoon. His TG crusade is separate from some of the completely unfair and idiotic attacks that TG stupidely engaged. The Big Cat is a great contributer) -

Yeah the fact that the Bills are 2-18 the last decade means its a 50/50 shot. (and 1 of those wins was a decade ago) Thats what I'm talkling about! Haaaay ayyyy ayyy Lets go Buffalo! -

I love these posts. Fan #1 posts offseason fluff piece Fan #2 warns to temper expectations because they haven't played yet. Never fails! Show me the baby! -
Maybe Gronk won't be ready for Week 1.

This thread is comedy. EJ3 seriously it went right over your head. Take a breath, chill out, re-read the OP, and the linked article again. Then read your post. Then if you still get what happened. Well I can't help you. Welcome to TBD. -

I think this is the year for Merriman. He is perfect for this new hybrid defense. -
#19 is where I would put him.

90's Bills Trading Cards
1B4IDie replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I have 3 full sets each of the 1990, 1991, 1992 Pro Set. Then Full Sets of 1991 -1994 Upper Deck. I don't think I could sell them for enough to fund my Starbucks card for a month. I also have Have Thurman and Andre's Tops. Rookie cards in Screw tight card holders. I'm just going to keep them stored. The problem with collecting cards is that everyone knows to keep them safe. So the supply is super high. The reason the cards from pre 1950 are worth so much is because everyone tossed them out and the supply was so low. The cards will never have value like that. About 4 years ago a bought afew boxes for/ with my nephew. The commons were so common we had about 2.5 full sets in no time. Then a few "jersey" cards. Its fun for fun's sake. You can teach lessons of keeping things organized and caring for their stuff as well. You can pretebd they'll be worth something with the kids but in reality they will likely never have real value. -
Newly Available Vet FAs as of June 1st.

Yeah Dallas is a no brainer. Especially if EJ starts. The TE depth is weak and I'd be nice to have a solid safety valve. My guess is Dallas may be waiting for a spot on a contender to open up. -
If the Bills win the Super Bowl they'll have 10 dudes on the Top 100. How many do the Ravens have? Their roster is individually doo-doo. The only really special players are Ed Reed, Ray Lewis ('03), Ray Rice, Suggs ('10), Ngata and a bunch of role players but I bet they have more than 5 on the Top 100. Like everything in life Win and you're in.

Well well well . I guess my standards are higher than Peter King's, Troy Aikman's, the local Steelers twit (dude needs to a salad or two and do a sit up while you're at it https://mobile.twitter.com/MarkKaboly_Trib) and 26CornerBlitz' standards; and I'm OK with that. I know who won the line of scrimmage in that game, and it wasn't the smallest RG in the NFL.

So Tackle stats are the best way to judge a NT? And I cant find where Peter King actually says. I can only find something you copied and pasted where someone else says that Peter King said that. Here is a more realistic summary of the Super Bowl: BJ Raji vs Doug Legursky (Not Maurkice Pouncey) Even though stat sheets aren’t going to show that BJ Raji dominated the line in Super Bowl XLV, he and the rest of the Packers defensive line unit did a terrific job. Pittsburgh’s running backs Mendenhall and Moore were able to average more than four yards per carry and score a touchdown, but most of their rushing success was at the edge rather than up the middle. When a rushing team like Pittsburgh can’t get holes opened between the tackles they are going to have problems as the Steelers did on Sunday. Also, the Packer’s pass rush up the middle collapsed the pocket on Ben Roethlisberger a number of times. This includes the play where Roethlisberger was forced to make a bad throw that ended up being intercepted by Nick Collins for a touchdown. Levitre having trouble with one of his knees

Clocker? No way. Shlocker is better. Anyway that's how much I hated him as a prospect. He was horrible as the QB of W. Just horrible. -

The Bills have $20 M in Cap Space. Mario Williams Contract has not caused any problems at all whats so ever when it comes to signing FAs. There is no as in NO Cap issue in Buffalo. Its frustrating to see people mention this over and over and over again. I hated Shlocker coming out of College. He has actually impressed me. I think Locker will be a good QB. So Basically there are very little similarities between the Titans Situation and the Bills. They do both play in the AFC though. -
Yeah I thought I paid $8 but when I checked Amazon now it shows $29. Either way get a cheap ESPN the Mag subscription.
-
You buy a 1 Year ESPN the Magazine Subscription on Amazon for $8 then you get ESPN insider for free. When your ESPN Insider renews at like $100 or something absurd. You cancel. Then you buy ESPN the Magazine Subscription for $8 and you get ESPN insider for free. Some of the Fantasy Football insider tools and news are actually worth $29. But not $100

Levitre having trouble with one of his knees
1B4IDie replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They Drafted Warmack. Levitre has a boo-boo on his knee because he knows he'll be playing RG no matter what happens. He is a vet. Just take some time off. So now the Titans have an $8Mil RG. Where RG is probably the easiest of the 5 Oline positions to play. That is what happens when your HC is a HoF guard. oops! -
