  1. The kid looks and plays like a monster. Like a SEC monster in the MAC. Do you know how a Florida kid with that talent wound up at UB? I don't really get why he wasn't recruited in his SEC backyard. Was he overweight and slow in High School then slimed down at UB? Something just doesn't add up.
  2. No! Stay in the second so the Bills can draft him.
  3. Nice name Big Popi. If Stevie ever leaves the Bills I was thinking about changing my name to Xmus Jaxon Flaxon-Waxon, or T.J. A.J. R.J. Backslashinfourth V. or I can just keep it.
  4. The Pats at #9 is crazy talk. Nate Solder is not anywhere near a Pro Bowl Tackle. He lets a lot of pressure on Brady. The Pats are more like 29.
  5. If you bat .333 you go to the All Star game. Your numbers mean nothing unless you put them in context and compare them to other GMSs.
  6. Weird that the Browns have Nelson and Roosevelt. Are DoJo and Aiken next?
  7. I think early odds would be on the cheats but really Mark Anderson is a hired gun, Whatever team is the highest bidder will be the team he plays for in 2013. He may even be picked up on the Waiver Wire. The contracts is not that bad if he is healthy.
  8. Exactly. It wasn't a horrible contract or a ridiculous decision. You can call it a swing and a miss, but no one bats 1.000
  9. WHO GIVES A **** ABOUT THE PLAYER's SALARY when the team is well under the cap!!!!??? I really don't understand y'alls fascination when THE BILLS ARE UNDER THE CAP. They can sign whomever they can reach an agreement with. Mark Anderson's contract didn't prevent any signings. Yes the money could have been better spent but $8 Mill for a player coming off of a 10 sack season isn't exactly a bone headed move. It was always a Medium Risk-High Reward Move. There are no other FAs we missed on because of the Anderson move. They took a shoot, signed a FA and missed. I applaud the FO for cutting bait quickly instead of keeping him on the roster longer. Typically these types of signing linger for years then amount to nothing. Atleast it was 1 and done. Instead of 2.5 and done. My only hope is Byrd said "I'll sign if you cut that Gold-Bricking MArk Anderson D-Bag." and Whaley was like "No Problem. Done."
  10. So BB.com didn't issue the photo and is stupider than the NFL for posting it. "Hey Stevie do you mind changing your shirt?"
  11. Maybe the name of his song was USS Fuhkmore. Then that would be an appropriate wardrobe for a photo shoot. If it were a Buffalo Bills photo shoot for publicity than it would be inappropriate. I dont think we know how, when or why that photo was taken. But yes that is immature humor for a team leader, but not for a kid in their 20s. Which is the personal conflict all this young men face. They're expected to have a public profile of a retired IRS auditor but they're young studs with millions of dollars in disposable income.
  12. Dude. BB.com messed up. This picture could be Stevie's picture for his album or something else. Then BB.com decided to use it without paying attention. I don't think you can fault Steve for BB.com being blind or dumb.
  13. From a list perspective. AJ Green Julio Jones Vincent Jackson Are all Top 10 WRs and maybe even all Top5 depending on who you ask. Then where there aren't Top 5 WRs. You have Top QBs. in Brees, Marsha, and Big Ben. If you want to be the best you have to beat the best. He will get tested. 2012 was an up and down year. He would play amazing for 90% of the game then give up a couple horrible horrible plays. The good thing was, imo, it seemed like he was consistently abused on double moves where the QB pumped. Which he can worked on to improve. Most of the game though he looked pretty stud-ly though.
  14. My two cents on DoJo. He was horrible his rookie year and on 99% of teams would have never seen the field. I hated seeing him on the field. In 2012 he actually developed into a decent receiver. He would be a very good 4th option on 90% of teams and a decent #2 on 25% of the NFL. He was the first young player the Bills developed into a NFL quality player I can remember in a long time. The Bills were a revolving door of crappy players for a long time until the previous regimen. At this point he deserves to play in the NFL. Just not the Bills. There is a log jam of young talented, fast receivers and BRad Smith. Minnesota needs some WR help they'd be foolish not to bring him in.
  15. Any team in the NFL can sign Byrd today. There is nothing stopping them. The Bills Receive a 1st and 3rd as compensation. If a team wanted Byrd they could have him for the price of the second highest paid Saftey in the NFL and a 1st and a 3rd pick to the Buffalo Bills up until Monday. After Monday Byrd can only sign a one year deal.
  16. I guess SI stooped to Bleacher Report's level. What fan-boy, fluff nonsense.
  17. Are you saying its ridiculous to be obsessed with TJ? I agree. Who cares what the 3rd string QB makes? It was a couple 100K above an average 3rd string QB. These couple of 100K don't matter to a team that was under the cap. The 7th rounder? Well we could have another "kick off speacilist" or TJ. Neither will add more Ws. Also when will people realize he didn't dress because TJax is horrible at playing QB in the NFL. He was horrible in Minnesota, horrible in Seattle and so horrible in Buffalo that a guy names Tuel beat him out for 3rd string QB. The TJ episode is a non event.
  18. Knowing the personality of that team if they get a lead. They'll try to get DoJo 150 yards and 3TDs in garbage time. (Did he used to play for the Bills? Oh we didn't know because we don't pay attention to minor league football. We're just working out the kinks in week 1. )
  19. Corey Mac is the FB I was referring to. Good call on Whinter. So we got 5.
  20. What are the 14 arrests? Ko Simpson, Lynch, that FB that got caught stroking it in public, who else? 14 seems high.
  21. Except if you compare the percentage of arrests of players on a football team against the percentage of arrests of people that work for FedEx, Home Depot or Avis. You may be surprised that society isn't in danger by the likes of a few bad NFL players.
  22. I'm not always one for the small town Paranoia but "I'm gonna stock up while I'm in Buffalo" really does seem like he is saying "while I'm in minor league in Buffalo I won't spend any money. When I become a free agent and go to a real city then I'll buy the car I want. " He seems like nice guy. I don't like nice guys in the NFL. I won't a mean Richardhead WR that will go win jump balls. I really want him to be succesfull IN Buffalo.
  23. What I learned is that reddit actually has pretty intelligent football discussions.
  24. (Looks at thread and immediately closes)
  25. Why would you think the National Media doesn't check out the local coverage? That is quickest easiest way to get info. Why do you think the NFL Network brings on the local media to their shows for opinions on a regular basis? I don't doubt Sully's fan allegiance. Like I said I met him at a bar in Houston covering the game. I am intimately familiar with the Bills record what does that have to do with Sully kicking a city when it is down?
