  1. I thought it would have been too obvious but couldn't resist.
  2. New Miami Dolphins Uniforms
  3. Glass Half full view. LB and CB DEPTH is decent on paper. Proven is a different story, same goes for WR. Glass Half Empty is no one is proven in any position on this team except maybe Wood, Kyle Williams and SJ13 and they have an injury history or are injured now. Its all perspective.
  4. Crediting Belliteat's bum\flash-dance attire on a protest is a biiiiit of a stretch. My guess is, being a short squat man, its more comfortable to wear flash-dance gear. Nike could make money off of men's bespoke suits. Its an easy enough business. Its more difficult to mold $5 of plastic into silly shapes and sell it for $100 than it is to make Men's suits. Just not enough margin in it for them, probably.
  5. You forgot: Edit #3 Levitre played extremely well. No need to hyper critique because he is no longer on the Bills roster.
  6. I Guarantee the Bills go dumpster diving for Guard in the 52 man cut down since Lurgusky and Brown should be in the dumpster right now. Hopefully they can find some reinforcements prior to the 52 man cut down though.
  7. Exactly and one of the greatest things about 17 reg season games is there are no .500 seasons. You're either a winner or loser (yeah 8-8-1 is a possibility but don't be a richard)
  8. #1-3 Lawson-Kiko-Bradham. #4 Hughes. #5 Williams at S #6 Goodwin Basically the D was so bad last year, if there is a glimmer of hope on D and EJ looks good the kool-aid will be flowing.
  9. Astrobot wins August. Seriously, everyone owes Astrobot a beer. Where should we send them?
  10. I mean this completely seriously. If the Sabres and Bills won as many championships as the Steelers and Penguins. Buffalo would be Pittsburgh. A huge portion of Civic pride is built through a City's sports teams. Like it or not. You may say this sounds crazy but I seriously believe the constant losing has an effect on population drain.
  11. Fast offenses need to have great protection in the middle. These quick passing plays can be devastated by pressure in the QBs face. If you get the ball out in under 2 seconds, pressure from the blindside doesn't matter. Plus in 1995 you could give the QB the business late but in 2013 if the ball is out of the QBs hand you better not breathe on him or its a flag. Its the New NFL and LT and the "blindside" is becoming less important (still important) Lugursky sucked his whole career and Colin Brown is a nobody. If this Thomas Welch Character can play decent Left Tackle you know Glenn will lock down the LG spot. It could help. Or they are just tinkering, who knows. Excellent work. Seriously Excellent. So they're practicing for the case of two guards going down? Well I guess this also kinda practice if Glenn gets injured too.
  12. I have been boycotting all Bills gear until they finish a season with a winning record (its only been a decade) If they get 9 wins I'm buying that jacket. Its real nice.

  14. I was slow on that one. They did like the old pink though.
  15. Miller always was a wet Blanket. Roy, Peters, and McKee would get loose though. Even the big goof Myers was more fun than Miller
  16. That's allentown. That's where I said the Sabres hang. Never seen a Bill though.
  17. Calling $9M a season clean is a stretch to say the least. Fitzy was half of that, and people act like that amount of money crippled the orgnaization.
  18. Green Bay is built around the Stadium. Its like being in Ann Arbor. The players are the sole fixation of Green Bay. Orchard Park is too far from Buffalo and the players tend to live just as far away. The difference is where the players, play practice and live is similar to a rural \ "exburb" setting. Its very isolated living situation. Not a small town built around a stadium. The Sabres are actual more apart of Buffalo and understand the City better based on their living and working environment. I would see the Sabres players around Buffalo in Allentown all the time. I never see a Bills players ever. So there is something to be set about the exburb lifestyle in Orchard Park. However Most NFL players don't live in the City they play for year round so this environment isn't a great detriment to the Bills.
  19. But the Accrual is ~20M right? Thats not chump change cap hit. If you're going to have the guy on the books for $20M in 2014 whether he plays or not he really has to stink in order to cut him. A second 10 sack season does not count as stinking.
  20. It does appear that there would be a cap hit in 2014 if Mario were cut after this season. So the "Two year deal" statement doesn't make sense to me. Every NFL deal is a one year deal if you take the signing bonus and cap hit out of the calculation. A team can cut any player at any time. If the argument were all the Guaranteed money were delivered upfront and there was no cap hit after the second year, I can see the "two year" argument but it appears there would be about $20M cap hit for the Bills if Mario were cut after this season. I stand corrected about the base salary, I misread the contract. I just don't understand your 2014 number. I highly doubt the cap hits you have laid out for 2014 and 2017 are correct.
  21. Here are Sport Trac's Cap hit numbers: http://www.spotrac.c...mario-williams/ YEAR BASE S. BONUS MISC. CAP HIT DEAD 2012 5,900,000 3,800,000 100,000 9,800,000 - 2013 6,500,000 3,800,000 2,100,000 12,400,000 15,200,000 2014 1,900,000 3,800,000 12,700,000 18,400,000 - 2015 12,100,000 3,800,000 3,100,000 19,000,000 - 2016 11,500,000 3,800,000 4,600,000 19,900,000 - 2017 11,400,000 - 5,100,000 16,500,000 CAP HIT 2012 9,800,000 - 2013 12,400,000 2014 18,400,000 - 2015 19,000,000 - 2016 19,900,000 - 2017 16,500,000
  22. Your numbers can't possibly be correct. You have cap numbers that are less than his base salary for that year. Where are you getting those numbers from?
  23. These numbers seem completely incorrect. Where are you getting them?
  24. How to ignore someone on TBD. Once logged in go to the top of the browser and click the arrow next to your log in name. Choose "Manage Ignore Prefs" Under "add a new user to my list" Type MitchMurraydowntown. It should auto fill by the time you type MitchM. Click Posts Click Save Changes. I would point out the Bills have never had a cap issue. Now if there is an internal accounting issue that is different but the Bills have no issues with regard to Cap Space and extending Byrd, Wood, Spiller AND Mario's contract on the payroll. If you feel Mario doesn't give full effort you're welcome to that opinion. I don't agree but I respect the opinion. It is vastly different than some people's strange crusade to prove Mario Williams 365 days on the Buffalo Bills was a complete waste of time, effort, and money. You are correct it is seated . . . Interesting. I thought it was seeded like planting a seed but actually it is seated like firmly embedded. You lean something new everyday. . . I believe it is "Williams" and not "Willaims" ;-)
  25. No, last year and I assume this year you can buy Sunday Ticket without DTV to your house.
