  1. And with Thad Lewis starting on Sunday. My EJMCL is stuck at 18.85%
  2. Fred Jackson is the greatest Bill of the last 14 years. It's been a rough 14 years. So if anyone from that era makes the Wall of Fame its FJax by a landslide. I bet Moorman makes it though. Not that I want him on there.
  3. And the Cleveland Browns! What luck. Agreed.
  4. Carolina vs New England and Carolina wins. I like when Brady loses Super Bowls.
  5. Seriously though we only need ~120 TBDers to kick in $5 a piece for seasons. With the caveat that they actually have to go to every game. Get a kick starter going. I'll pitch in $5 for 7 home wins.
  6. Give it up. You are clueless. Just stop already.
  7. Your post is logical. However others are likely not and are actually comparing Evans to Hardy. The point is not comparing them solely on their college performance but where they project in the pros. Do you want Alshon Jeffries or Victir Cruz? Do you see Alshon towering over the CBs making one handed grabs over his head ? That is difficult to defend. Teams will take a chance at having that kind of a weapon over a debatably better college player.
  8. People keep bringing up James Hardy because they want to demonstrate how clueless they are and how little football knowledge they have. James Hardy had no college resume, he sat in the back if the end zone on a nothing football program. Evans and Hardy have nothing to do with each other besides height. Evans has multiple productive years in the SEc as a primary passing option. Saban and Les Miles couldn't stop him. James Hardy is a horrible example to bring up in a discussion of Mike Evans. Btw DeSean Jackson was the 7th WR taken in that draft. So it wasn't a no brainer to take DeSean Jackson over Eddie Royal or Limas Sweed at the time. It was a no brainer to let a nothing talent with no resume and no demonstrable skillset to drop to the 4th like James Hardy should have been drafted.
  9. Knee J III. Redskins fans are freaking out in DC. Would you trade EJ3 for RGIII straight up?
  10. I think the release of that trio was actually the first sign of the curse of Flutie. All of them still had gas in the tank. All of them wanted to play in Buffalo. The release went through when the person was in a zombie like state hence no calls. It's pretty clear. I mean really, how are you gonna bench the guy that got you to the playoffs for scrub like Rob Johnson. Flutie would have wiped the floor with the Titans no need for a forward lateral. They'd be kneeling down.
  11. I don't understand why Cyrus is not a consensus Top5 pick. He pushed Barrett Jones to center. I expect him to shoot up the board on draft day.
  12. Yeah I'm not even going to mention the Cleveland and Pittsburgh games which are a direct result of a certain rookie's actions . . . I'm just referring to the 100 yard pick 6 and either one of the ATL fumbles.
  13. You're so off on this. It isn't even worth responding. Fred Jackson will be on the roster and contribute in 2014 for the Buffalo Bills unless he retires or gets injured. /thread
  14. If the 2013 Buffalo Bills finish 7-9 then you want to shoot yourself in the face. Because that'd mean they were two bounces of the ball away 9-7 and the 6th seed in the playoffs.
  15. How so? If he beats the Dolphins again in a game that is very meaningful for the AFC all that is going to do is stir the pot. But maybe your point is if he looks like crap then it gets shushed? I don't know. I don't predict any shushing anytime soon. If Thad Lewis plays well again on Sunday. I think teams will view him as a solid #2. Not a scout QB. He is a great clipboard holder for a team with a solid starter. He is smart and knows the game according to Cutcliff so he can add a view that an established starter may be able to leverage. And if the starter goes down the team can feel slightly uncomfortable. As opposed to totally screwed like GB was. He won't get top tier backup money but there will be a market for him.
  16. What is this "Might"? Mario, Dareus, and Kiko are locks for the Pro Bowl based on fan voting. and Kyle will likely be an alternative. its like a 99% chance at this point in time. Sacks and Ints are glamor stats and will get you to the Pro Bowl.
  17. I see your point but I don't think they respect the WRs today. They do seem to have Safety help over top for Goodwin and Graham(even though he can't catch a cold) but other than that most teams are fine with letting the WRs catch balls if they beat single coverage. You have to game plan for Evans. Evans = X, Woods = Z and Johnson = Slot. Then you can have Chandler run seem routes down the middle or have Graham in on 4 WR sets to run fly routes opposite side of Evans. I see your point though. Goodwin/Graham=X, Woods =Z and Johnson =Slot. Then have a fast threat at TE running Deep Seem routes on the strong side (away from X) I like that too. Chandler's not Jimmy Graham but he is a great TE2. You can even pass out of a two Tight end, FB set with just Woods or Graham wide like Harbaugh is doing in San Fran. Like I said I'm good either way. As long as the Bills draft Big Body Receiving threats early and often.
  18. Alright who is the 1? Make the Poll Public.
  19. http://www.drafttek.com has a cool simulation tool. They also do this cool Live mock during the draft.
  20. I like the idea of Ebron. The thing that tips the scale for me for Evans is that he was the focus of the passing offense. You had Les Miles and Nick Saban game planning for Evans specifically and they couldn't take him out of the game. Yes you had Manziel running around like a wild man extending the play but imo Manziel needed Evans more than Evans needed Manziel. So you have a primary receiver playing at a high level in the SEC where the teams know that Manziel is going to scramble then look for Evans and they still connect. But don't get me wrong I wouldn't kick Ebron or Austin S-J off the board either.
  21. Take back The Jeff Tuel 100 Yard Pick 6 and either one of the two Fumbles in the ATL game and the team is 7-7 and controls its own destiny for the playoffs, this year. But the Bills always find new and interesting ways to lose.
  22. They put a choke collar on Kiko in Practice? "Kiko Fassen den ball!" I want Hughes to get 1 sack. Kyle to get 1.5 sacks and Dareus to get 1.5 sacks. That would mean Mario 12 Hughes 10 Kyle 10 Dareus 9 with 1 Brady Pancake left for Dareus to eat up in week 17.
  23. Whats crazy is this team could have 4 Double Digit sack artists. Right now you have Mario 12 Hughes 9 Kyle Williams 8.5 Dareus 7.5 Miami and New England haven't exactly kept their QBs clean, so 5 sacks in the last 2 games isn't Science Fiction. None the less those 4 players through 14 games, out sacked the entire Bills defense in 2012.
  24. Dude, How you gonna Hijack Astro's thread with a competitor's site?
