Buffalo Media - giving credit where it is due
1B4IDie replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Except for, like usual, Sully's article. Where he has to bring up old insults he tossed at Ralph on the day Ralph dies. That article may have been more appropriate for the Sunday edition, after a few days passed. -
Screw Karma. I'm 'merican. That cannot happen.

My point is . . . actually I don't know if everyone can handle this given the weakened condition . . .should I say it . . . listen, if you're reading this sit down . . . this will be hard . . .think about it . . . the logo has nothing to do with Wild Bill and the Wild Wild West. The team can simply be the Los Angeles Buffaloes. No logo change. No color change. I mean those red, white, and blue jerseys are as american as eating a cheeseburger, sipping a Budweiser while shooting your gun in a drop top Chevy. Awe inspiring! How insulting to the City of Buffalo. Yeah we didn't need the Bills part just the Buffalo Thanks!

A Spring Football league would absolutely work. There is zero question in my mind. Week 1 could be St. Patrick's Day weekend, a 10 game season and the Championship would be the first day of Summer. I would absolutely watch.

Again I like Ebron. He has pro potential. i just don't see this Top 15 talent anywhere, not on film or in empirical numbers at the combine. Between ASJ, Jace Amaro and Ebron I see 3 great pro prospects all with great potential, I just can't see how Ebron is somehow substantially better then any of them. Ebron is overhyped imo. If any one of those three are available at #41 you grab them and laugh about it for the next decade. (Granted ASJ has some health question marks) http://www.nfl.com/v...continuous=true Whats funny is in Mayock's own video right after he says Ebron is a hands catcher he body catches the ball. :38. Which is fine. Ebron has this way about protecting the catch with his body. His hands are still involved but he does a good job of trying to shield the catch. The problem is, In the NFL you can't always wait until the ball comes into your body. You need to go out and get the ball before the defender makes a play on it. You're not playing against joke ACC LBs and Safeties anymore. You need to go get the ball. Like I said Ebron is a good pro prospect you have got to be inhaling the hype vapors pretty heavily to see a "Top 10 pick in any year" when you watch Ebron. If anything let the 3 QBs and Ebron go Top8. That just means more real elite talent falls to the Bills ar #9. Also I have no doubt that Ebron can block. He can block you can see it on tape. i have no idea why people are doubting that. I think it goes back to this hype and the need to put in him a category to make it easier to think about Ebron. "Oh he is like Jimmy Graham well Jimmy Graham can't block so Ebron block." Its foolish. and you can tell Mayock wants to make out with Ebron in this video: http://www.nfl.com/v...continuous=true

Evan Mathis (Eagles All-Pro Guard) on the trading block

This. -
The name Bills is a stupid entry of fan contest. They can take the name. I'd rather follow Baltimore's path then Cleveland's.

At Marine Midland, HSBC or whatever they call it now adays. They give you plastic gloves if you order hot chicken fingers. At first I was thinking "What kind of girly man move is this? I' m already forced to order fingers like a 5 year old." However it is actually genius. When you're sitting in your seat you don't have to bring 20 napkins with you. Just chow down with the gloves on, then when you're done toss the gloves no need for napkins. They need to adopt that policy at Duffs @ RWS

This is a typical "How do you spell Buffalo Bills?" clueless national coverage of the team. Nothing to see here.

Corey Graham to move to FS per Marrone

At least 2 NFL teams have Mike Evans #1 WR on their board
1B4IDie replied to Pitta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not surprising that Evans could be ranked higher. If a GM is convinced he could be Megatron part II, not saying he is, then they would have him #1 overall. You could offer the entire Bills 2014 roster for Calvin Johnson in a trade and Detroit might turn it down. Players like that are invaluable. Sammy Watkins is the safer pick he looks so polished and a hard nosed football player when he wants to turn it on. He plays like a bigger Steve Smith when he is on. If Evans can be Megatron part II or a couple GMs believe that then he is a higher ceiling but higher risk. Someone said this earlier, in a different thread. An Evans pick is a chance at a Greatness a Watkins pick is a chance at very goodness. I'd be happy if the Bills had either one on the roster especially If one developed into Megatron Part II. If both went top 8 that would suck. -
Good luck Moats.

What's funny is I flipped back and forth twice to that article and was thinking, I didn't think he was 6'3". Yeah that goes to show the validity of that cotton candy article.
-
Is Lande aware that Jace Amaro's athleticism in imperial measurements is greater than Ebron's athleticism? At least that's what the underwear Olympics aka combine says. Anyone want to guess the Degrees of deprecation between Lande and Ebron's agent? Ebron is a solid pro prospect Graham has a 6'7" ceiling. No matter what Ebron is still only 6'3". I wouldn't take Soldier Grapefruit with #9 overall pick either.

Agreed and definitely past the 40. Which Gailey did multiple times and Morrone has done once.

Report: Bills express interest in Kenny Britt
1B4IDie replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It always must be option 1 or Option 2. It can never be Option 1 and Option 2 on TBD. That is not allowed. Signing Britt means that every other WR on the roster must be immediately cut or traded. Obviously. BTW The Bills also cannot draft any WRs if they sign Britt. Obviously. -
I see what you did there. Spin everything around back on me. I'm not sure what misinformation you're refering to, the numbers from the NFL combine site? Or the Wikipedia link that describes what the drill helps give insight into? It shouldn't come Across as anger it's more dismissive.

Deal! -
Evans does not "lack physical quickness in and out of his breaks." Thats what you said. I can't find anything to back up that statement. I don't see how Watkins tape has anything to do with the statement you made. Again, Awesome Crusade, Bro!
-
Tape and the combine don't back up your claim. 40 Time Watkins - 4.43!!! Evans - 4.53 3 Cone Drill Watkins - 6.95 Evans - 7.08 20 yard Shuttle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20-yard_shuttle The 20-yard shuttle, also simply called the short shuttle, is a test performed by American football athletes at the NFL combine. It is primarily run to evaluate the quickness and change-of-direction ability of players by scouts, particularly for the NFL Draft but also for collegiate recruiting. Evans - 4.26! Watkins - 4.34 60 yard Shuttle Evans - 11.58! Watkins - DNP Again, Awesome Crusade Bro!

Report: Bills express interest in Kenny Britt
1B4IDie replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Carolina gives Britt a contract offer and he doesn't sign that on the spot. He is even stewpider then his police record would indicate. You immediately become the primary target for Cam Newton. Duh Duh. And then if the defending Super Bowl champs that are still young and hungry with no talent at WR give you a contract offer and you don't sign it on the spot. You have to be insane. Then if you turn down signing both those contracts and get on a plane to go to Buffalo you're brain dead. I find it hard to believe he has offers on the table but I guess we'll see. -
I didn't want to bring this up earlier and cloud the conversation but draftniks think Watkins is the foregone conclusion as first WR off the board. If Evans interviews well and teams think he has the capacity to work I wouldn't be surprised if Evans goes before Watkins. Watkins is the safer pick IMO but Evans has the higher ceiling.

I know. The draft was the first BBQ of Spring. We had the TVs hooked up outside and the grill going. Now we have a Prime Time snooze fest. Booo NFL! Bring back the BBQs!

Rob Moore: "Doug, I've been going over film from 2013. I think the Quality Control coach may be off. I have the play call and the play book but Stevie is not running the route that's called. Can I get the actual play that was called?" Doug :"Well obvious we need to look at this. I obviously think that you have the right plays that were called. It's just obviously Steven Johnson has a different technique. Obviously" Rob Moore: "Technique ?" Doug: "Obviously." Rob Moore: "Ok, well one more thing. TJ Graham he doesn't seem to be able to catch the ball." Doug:"Obviously it's an area of Development and we obviously need to cultivate his pass catching ability. obviously " Rob Moore "You want me to teach an NFL WR how to catch?" Doug:"Obviously" Rob Moore: "So I saw Kenny Britt was a Free Agent . . ."
