  1. Um, No one that I know expected this . . .this is actually unexpected. The team was expected to be held in a trust until the team was sold. This is different, there is a new sole owner, and that owner is Mary Wilson, not a trust. What does it mean!!!
  2. The voices in my head . . . oh wait that was actually the Buffalo Bills app on iPhone.
  3. What does this message mean?
  4. 80+% of the mocking world had the Bills drafting Dareus.
  5. Except Ricky Dudley was bigger and faster.
  6. yes I 2nd or 3rd the idea. It'd be nice to see a list of Priority Free Agents. I really don't see anyone else doing that in the mocking world.
  7. I was going to try Bills acquire #1 pick in trade.
  8. Martavis Bryant is a great pick. But that talent that is available at #73 in that mock is a reason why you need to trade back if you can. You got Cyrus Kuanadijo, Bryant, Moncrief, Troy Niklas. Those are all solid pros that can make an impact in 2014. If Watkins and Evans are gone at #9 and OBD gets any offer to trade back with extra picks in the Top 75 of 2014 you need to do it. I hope.
  9. I'm right with you OP if Evans and Watkins are gone there is no one that I love at #9. I think if that happens you go with the best tackle prospect on your board. Not sexy but extremely necessary. Just not Lewan. For the record I was for trading for Rapeslisberger. What Lewan did is almost more disgusting he told a young woman who thinks she was rapped to drop the chargers or "he will rape her again." And the claim is from multiple sources including his teammates. That is just too much even for me. Because Jace Amaro, Troy Niklas or ASJ will be there at #41 and all are as equally good as Ebron. Many beat his combine numbers. Ebron is overhyped and will be overdrafted as compared to the other TEs. Jace Amaro in the right system will likely have the best receiving stats as a rookie. Then you look at what you could have done with #9 overall pick and kick yourself.
  10. Ebron is a good run blocker. Very solid. He's just not very special knowing that Austin S-Jenkins, Jace Amaro, and Troy Niklas are just as good as Ebron and one will be there at #41 it's a huge reach to take Ebron at #9 overall. That and I just read and reposting a tidbit about Ebron's drop rate. http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/cfb/46280/349/peshek-te-metrics 11.43%. Not what you want from a TE being taken uncharacteristically at #9 overall.
  11. Wow Astro posted this in another thread. http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/cfb/46280/349/peshek-te-metrics This is damning of Ebron. "- Heres Ebrons dirty little secret his hands just arent as good as some make them out to be. He made some nice one-handed grabs, but he also has a 11.43% drop rate which is not something to be overlooked." Just say no at #9.
  12. Gear article. Don't see anything bad about Jace Amaro. He was in the slot a lot but also inline. The fact that he wasn't lined up outside skew the %s in comparison to the other TEs. I like Niklas too. I don't think it has to be either or. If Ebron, ASJ, Amaro, or Niklas are available at #41 the Bills should take one. I like them all at #41 and non at #9 overall. I'd say the ACC is a weak defensive conference. So that is a wash in comparisons. This is damning of Ebron. "- Here’s Ebron’s dirty little secret – his hands just aren’t as good as some make them out to be. He made some nice one-handed grabs, but he also has a 11.43% drop rate which is not something to be overlooked." Just say no at #9.
  13. What about Jace Amaro in the second? I doubt Scott Crichton is anywhere on the Bills draft board. The +- on your site is backwards a value pick should be - and a reach should be +. That was you can just minus the value from the pick to see the overall rankings and add the number to the pick to see the overall ranking. It has always been confusing to me and now I finally get it.
  14. To summarize. 1.) Sacks are not the only measurement of a good defense. 2.) Sacks are not the only measurement of a good player. 3.) In 2013 the Buffalo Bills couldn't step the run well. 3.) In 2012 and 2013 the Buffalo Bills were 6-10 Groundbreaking thoughts. What the hell does any of that have to with Brandon Spikes, Anthony Dixon, Scott Chandler, Chris Williams, Corey Graham, Keith Rivers, Mike Caussin and Dan Carpenter?
  15. "Hey Babe , be honest, would you still be with me if I wasn't one of the greatest QBs of all time?" "Tommy , don't be silly. Of course NOT.
  16. Sorry again. TBD takes up too much of my time to piss off SDS. Peter, To your point. I was wondering about this "Stadium committee" as early as a few months ago. It seemed strange, because I've been to more than 10 of the 31 stadiums in the NFL. Rich stadium is actually a great game day viewing experience. If you look at that NFL relocation policy at the top of the list is the stadium condition and community commitment. Mr Wilson and his co-patriots set the "stadium committee" up for indisputable proof of the area's commitment to the NFL and a stadium that meets their standards. Bless his heart, go down the list, you'd be troubled to question Buffalo against any items on the relocation list. I don't think that is a coincidence. Mr. Wilson had a plan.
  17. Dear Eaglis, We have the super duper awesome reciever called TJ Graham. He is almost as goodest as your former DeSean guy (Too bad for that gang stuff, that sux 4 u.) I'll trade you your juice box and some teddy grahams for TJ Graham. Black Black no Trade Back. Blue Blue its True.
  18. I'm only saying this to be helpful I could easily just STFU if you want. It is unlikely you'll get the question "Why should the Bills be in Buffalo?" With every question you get an opportunity to add in facts that the reporters can use. I'm just saying if you take your opportunities to throw in some props for Why Buffalo is a great place for an NFL team you'll be doing the Bills a favor when everyone in the National media is so eager to run them out of Buffalo. i.e. Today they offer hope, but when $1 billion is on the line, the conversation will get a lot more real. Buffalo doesn't deserve this cloud lingering over their heads, when it comes to TV rating they're #11 in the entire league in viewership. The fans are the most loyal fans in the NFL. Two Bills Drive has people on it 24/7, 365 from everywhere in the world that care about the Buffalo Bills. Personally, I have grown tired of that dark cloud. Either rain on us or go away. I look forward to a final resolution where the Bills stay in Buffalo forever. You're clearly going to get tapped again for quotes. You can bridge to facts that make a case for the Bills in Buffalo if you want. I'm sorry if I'm offering unwanted suggestions but I'm doing because I think its important for someone, anyone to give Buffalo some respect in the national conversation and you seem to have a chance to do just that.
  19. Don't take my post the wrong way. I'm not asking that you swap your opinion for "talking points". The question is, "Do you personally want the Buffalo Bills to be in Buffalo?" If the answer is "Yes," then you have earned a powerful spot as the goto voice for Buffalo Bills fans. You earned that through your hard work on TBD that I am grateful to you for doing. Just like Charles Barkley wasn't a role model you're not the voice of all of the Buffalo Bills fans. You can embrace it and use it to Buffalo's advantage or not. It's up to you. I'm pointing out that you as an individual have an opportunity to change the conversation from "Buffalo is a backwater, nowhere town that is lucky to have an NFL team" to "Buffalo deserves and NFL team because of X, Y, Z" I don't take ownership of the "Talking Points" I'm asking to crowd source some ideas that put the Bills in a better light. I'm not criticizing what you said but you put together this board for an opportunity to share ideas. What better use that to come up with some good reasons why the Bills should stay in Buffalo. Points that media outlets can easily repeat and regurgitate. You can give the national media some talking points that highlight why Buffalo deserves a football team, god knows it, no one else is giving NFL.com any reason why Buffalo deserves to have an NFL team. You have the minds of 10s of thousands of people that are willing to do your bidding. You can use your powers for good or evil. There are some smart people on this board that have some good ideas those ideas can be helpful in your interviews, if you want.
  20. Proposed Talking points: The Bills were 11th out of 32 in Rating in the NFL. (Yes this is % of possible viewers none the less it is still a good talking point for the Bills staying in Buffalo) The Bills have the most passionate fans in the NFL. Looking at the #1-5 of NFL relocation policy: Numbers #1 and #2 are fan and community support. So that should mean something. Anyone else have any good talking points for SDS?
  21. SDS's comment isn't helping public perception. To paraphrase "They need to have a movement or get off the pot." If SDS is going to speak for all of Bills fans in the media then he he needs a couple sound bites as to why the Bills should not move. Can someone give SDS some better talking points as to why the Bills are not a good franchise to relocate? I saw some good points in the "What Happens Next thread . ." These article are written with the forgone conclusion that the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo is not a viable long term option. That assumption should be challenged by Bills fans at every opportunity, at least in the national media.
  22. You may want to inspect Brandon Marshall's background a little more before you make him out to be a hero for wearing Green shoes. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/14984456/marshalls-pattern-with-women-violence-beyond-troubling http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post/_/id/4675509/a-timeline-of-marshall%E2%80%99s-off-field-problems Marshall beat women. I don't care if you're bi-polar thats not an excuse.
  23. A Big Receiver from Indiana . . . How long until we hear a comparison to a former draft pick . . .
  24. Yes Sully (spits after saying his name) is consistent in being a PoS. Atleast he has that going for him.
  25. NFL was heavily invested in the Arena League, the games were on the NFL network. I think that was/is the plan with the Arena League.
