Every year in Week 1 there are crazy upsets that whack half the pool. Let's hope it's the Bears not the Eagles upset loss this year.

I went in 2006. I've been to 14 NFL stadiums. I don't think Chicago fans see the Bills as a threat. They were mostly impressed there were so many Bills fans there. They said they usually only see that type of visitor presence for Vikes and Packers. There was a lot of good to Richard Headed ribbing going on in the stadium. The Bills got pounded so the fans were just happy. I could see them turning into violent A-holes if the Bills turn the tables. Anyway that is my take on the situation. As long as you're not a complete A-hole yourself you should be good IMO. (Jacksonville so far was the only place I've seen just crazy violent fans for no reason at all.)

I live in The DC area. I hate the Deadskins because of XXVI. I hope they go 0-16 for eternity. I vaguely pay attention to the Ravens. The one complication is my wife's family is from Erie, PA. they mistakenly root for the Browns. So needless to say Browns families really hate the Ravens (Browns 1.0). Good thing I don't have to worry about the Bills leaving because I don't know what I'd do. I always liked the Chargers from the Foutes days to Brees and Rivers. Did I mention I hate the Deadskins and their stupid fans. the Franchise is a disaster yet every pre-season "Hey we're gonna go 16-0, maybe 14-2 worst case." Then they're shocked when they miss the playoffs. Just a crazy fan base.

I would put a lot of money on the Bears -7 on home opener weekend against almost any team. seems like easy money to me. There has got to be a lot if action on the Bears. I'd try to buy it down to -6.5.

Sleeping on the Orton signing has caused a little hope Bubble to grow. This was the Veteran backup the Bills needed last year. He can be a game manager plus when EJ gets injured. Maybe all hope isn't lost.
