  1. The 4 Million is gone. Now Chris Williams is signed for peanuts for the next 3 years. He is not a complete turnstile he a serviceable depth player of Healthy. If he had a good work ethic and was a good leader to the young kids then you bring him back. Otherwise you cut him and only 2 Mil on dead money. If anything it gave the coaches 3 extra weeks to get Cyril Richardson up to speed. Who in despite of popular opinion is holding his own on most plays. Especially considering he just played probably the 2 best defensive lineman in the NFL in back to back weeks.
  2. Marv Levy never quit on the Bills as a head coach and probably should have quit on Day 2 as a GM, but that's another story. Its different than Marv.
  3. There are zero 4th on the table for Spiller. No one wants a RB that can't follow blocks. Plus there will be two Free Agent RBs in 2015 that will get a lot of attention, Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice.
  4. Good. Look past the Bills. That is exactly what we want to happen.
  5. A sack of footballs?
  6. Spiller Trade talk is absurd because we couldn't get a 7th for Spiller right now. He is not under contract next year and he has 1 season where he looked like a RB that could handle 20 carries a game. If you think the Bills could get anything for Spiller in a trade in the NFL you haven't been paying attention to the declined value of RBs in the NFL and the inability of Spiller to consistently move the ball. The 2014 Bills need him on the roster for a playoff push much more than a 2015 7th round pick.
  7. His play won 2/5 games for the Bills over a replacement such as Ebron or Benjamin. Therefore it's already proven that the extra 1st wasn't too much. Everything else in his career is gravy.
  8. The fans should rally at TBN HQ and ask for his immoderate dismissal. He is such a POS.
  9. So Sammy was instrumental in a win in the Miami game and Detroit. So as a rookie I'd say he has a 2 game Win over replacement out of 5 games. I don't think Eric Ebron gives you the same record. So basically the trade is a no brainer at this point in time. You trade a future first for atleast 2 wins in a playoff run all day every day . . . and the beat is yet to come.
  10. I just landed.
  11. Madden Mobile has Marquise Goodwin significantly ranked better in almost everything than Sammy Watkins. WTF!
  12. I never bashed Ralph. Everyone that did should apologize on this thread. The City of Buffalo is a better place because of him. He is truly a Saint.
  13. Correct and that's what people keep forgetting we traded back. It wasn't just Kiko. They effectively Traded Tavon "just a guy" Austin for EJ, Kiko, Goodwin and Gragg. And Kiko counts as our 2015 1st round draft pick too! However . . . That article is crap. Instead of picking random QBs. Why not limit the comparison to every 1st round QB in the last 10 years? That should be about the same number of random QBs that guy picked. Plus I'd actually like to see a comparison of "Air Yards" per pass. I think that would be interesting.
  14. We get to watch before out eyes how the NFL churns through talented players and puts them in a position to fail. When it comes to measurables EJ Manuel is off the charts. EJ Manuel comes straight out of Central Casting for Franchise QB. He is Big, Tall, Strong, Smart, Works Hard and has a great Smile. When it comes to getting it done on the field of play FSU, in a weak ACC conference surrounded by great skill position players he never was able to really shine. Throughout the draft process opinions varied on EJ Manuel, everywhere from guaranteed 1st rounder to late round, development QB. All it takes is one GM to fall in love and a player becomes a 1st round pick. Whaley fell in love with EJ, traded back in the 1st round and picked up the QB he thought could become the Franchise QB and face of the franchise. The current Bills QB, Fitzpatrick wasn't too thrilled on taking a significant pay cut in order to groom his replacement and wanted to get cut rather than take a paycut. So off walked that veteran QB that can teach the rookie QB how to make in the NFL. The new rookie Head Coach walked into One Bills Drive prior to draft day with his rookie Offensive Coordinating and signed and often injured veteran QB in place of the flawed, Fitzpatrick. So at the start of Bills training camp, there you have the Rookie Franchise QB of the future EJ Manuel, surrounded by a rookie HC, rookie GM, Rookie OC, Shell Shocked injury prone veteran QB and Undrafted Rookie Free Agent QB; Red Flags anyone? The shell shocked injury prone QB, I cannot make this up, slips on a mat and is out for training camp. When he finally makes it back to practice and plays in Pre Season game a rather pedestrian hit on the helmet from a knee sends the shellshocked, injury prone QB out of the league. The Bills bring in a former Heisman trophy winning college QB that can't hack in the pros and trade from an Undrafted QB that also didn't shine in a weak ACC conference. OC, an undrafted QB and Undrafted Rookie Free Agent QB; Red Flags anyone? Do you think EJ could have benefited from a year of watching Fitzy play? A year of watching anyone play? A year of the rookie HC and rookie OC go through some growing pains of their own with someone other than the Franchise QB of the Future? This is the Ballad of EJ Manuel, a QB in over his head, and not a lot of experienced support to help him.
  15. Kick off is at noon CST. So 8am ain't that bad.
  16. I remember that play and was wondering why in hell in that situation did he make that throw. I didn't know it was Woods I just was like damn that receiver got buried.
  17. EJ Manuel played historically one of the worst back to back game stretches in NFL History. Only EJ Manuel and Kyle Brady have games with back to back QBRs in the single digits. So playing better than EJ Manuel is a very low bar. Orton needs to be a game Manager and hit open receivers. His goal is to be Trent Dilfer in Baltimore. A stat line of 11/18 for 175 yards and 1 TD is a success with CJ and Freddy both over 70 yards. Think Trent Dilfer when you think of the Bills QB needs in 2014. EJ was playing at a sub Trent Dilfer level. Can Kyle Orton play at or above Trent Dilfer levels. We will see. and Carolina. The Packers game though was an eye opener. The offensives are some if the worst in the NFL. Not that the Bills are an improvement at this point in time.
  18. I'll be there. Pinto Kenny says that "Eastern market lot" is where people will be tailgating. They take cash (40$), and don't have a set opening time. Are you heading to The Eastern Market Lot?
  19. Giants, Jets, and Panthers offenses, Oh My! those are scary offenses. The Packers win is the impressive one. I don't know if that #1 ranked defense will stay that way as the season progresses. Now throwing Kyle Orton to the Lions may be a gift that keeps that D ranked high. We will see and I will see first hand.
  20. By Watching EJ the play book consists of, dump off to RB, Dump off to RB, Dump off to TE, and WR Screen. I'm fairly certain any NFL QB can throw the ball 3 yards pass the LOS. It's the chance that ORton might throw a ball 8 yards past the LOS regularly that he brings. It really won't take much to improve the QB play on this team.
  21. and that is why ESPN made the QBR. EJ Manuel and Brady Quinn are the only two QBs to have single digits QBRs in back to back performances. EJ Manuel was really really terrible the last 4 games and the last two went from really terrible to horrendous. It was clear the WRs were frustrated I'm sure the defense was frustrated by keeping the game close the last two weeks and getting nothing on offense. The locker room had to be looking at EJ as the weak link. Marrone might have lost the locker room by continuing to put a QB out on the field that was clearly in over his head. The Kyle Orton era begins at first place in the AFC East.
  22. Well know we will know where the problem lies.

  24. I think all 51 members of the team pick up on FJax. There is one weak link that is in over his head.
  25. FJ Blocked Watt in the Balls. It was pretty awesome.
