  1. Completely Agree. He was the dream that never became a reality. *Unless he goes to an AFC East team, then !@#$ him.
  2. Serious though, the D-Line deserves all the game balls today. They saved the offenses arse after all those turnovers, they only have up 10 points off turnover.
  3. Yeah that INT was terrible. The games past the INTs weren't as bad. The real problem is the fumbles. He has to stop that. Take the friggen sack and live to fight another day. As far as Hacket (name is accurate and needs no bastardization as he is just out there Hacking It with no clue) It looked the exchange with Hacket and Orton after the TO wAsnt cordial. Orton kept waving one finger in the air. Orton was just out there moving recovers around. I suspect Orton is becoming the OC as well. I don't think this is a good thing but as far as options go, Orton playing playground football is probably more sophisticated and a better option than Hacket.
  4. Can the really have 3+ lost turnovers in every game? One has to think that the turnovers, especially fumbles have got to get cleaned up. Take those turnovers away and the Bills win in a walk. Even with the huge penalties and Int.
  5. Play really good defense and limit the mistakes on offense. The problem is they need to start doing the second part of that strategy.
  6. Use David Nelson to run those TE routes. Then Kouandjio can go tackle eligible when we need an extra blocker. I'm sure his hands are as good as Lee's hands.
  7. Yeah I doubted that the Bills would leave Duke Williams singled on Gronk.
  8. I'm taking the Bills. One Buffalo.
  9. I think a team focusing on a previous loss instead of the current opponent is a real issue. What should that be called? Are the Bills doing that this week. All the talk by the players that I'm reading and hearing is looking back and not forward. The team should be focused on Minnesota. This game should be a win. An AP-less Minnesota iteam isn't a garbage team but the Bills are clearly better especially at home, especially after beating two better NFC North teams.
  10. Will Minnesota be a Trap Game? - Will the Patriots beat the Bills 3 times? I really hope the sad sacks on this board are not representative of the Buffalo Bills mood. The Bills lost to the Patriots. Get over it. In the words of Bellicheat "We're on to Minnesota" This is really looking like a trap game to me. On paper the Bills should smash the Vikings at home but they won't if they are still thinking about the Patriots. For the media guys that watch this board, Can someone from the media ask Marrone, Orton, and Kyle Williams. "Will you let the Patriots beat you again this week; are you focused on Minnesota?" Its kind of richardhead question but think of it as helping the team focus. Its like a chin check jab, are they actually there and focused on Week7? Do you see anything from the team that makes you worried about their focus? Listening to Eric Wood on WGR on tuesday he personally seemed still focused on the Patriots. Even though the questions were around the Pats game, there was very little talk about Minnesota as compared to most weeks. Mods, I thought the discussion of a trap game and the team's attitude this week could be a separate thread. If you want to consolidate with the new Week7 thread please proceed.
  11. I don't understand the heart burn over this loss. Spiller was Spiller can't find a whole as big as a truck and puts the ball on the ground. Orton was Orton hustling, leading, trying hard but makes a costly turnover (strip/sack) The Int wasn't even all on him that LB made a nice play. Brady was Brady, he actively looked for #27 And threw it to that area. Putting #27 on Gronk is mind boggling but when you have one of the greatest QB of all time, he knows how to get his playmakers in the best position possible. I put that more on Brady and Patriots play calling them on the Bills. Out of all of the heartburn Patriots losses, this isn't even on the list imo. The better team exploited turnovers and their match ups. Game over. We're on to Minnesota.
  12. I don't have the patience to read 13 pages of genii discuss the merits of Kyle Orton. However, out of curiosity is anyone actually proposing a move back to EJ? It should be clear by now that Kyle Orton is heads and shoulders better than EJ.
  13. Greatest Current Starting QB without a ring and current starting QB with the most rings too.
  14. The NCAA will men in black the entire country and say it never happened. Or atleast that's what they think they can do. "Vacating wins" is the stewpedest penalty ever.
  15. Terry and Kim are in Buffalo today, at the Sabres game. Puff, Puff, Pass!
  16. What do those two teams have in common? What you said is that Gilmore gets burned for a big TD every game. I said the Benjamin catch was not getting burned. It was not. That is what happened in reality.
  17. Yup. It does seem like that. What good teams? Where did they not miss a beat? Be more specific.
  18. I think in Duke Williams mind he saved a TD, but in reality he needed to get his head around and make a play at the ball. There was enough air under the ball to make It a defensible play.
  19. He'll be the Hero in the Special Teams Film Review. And the Goat on the Defense Film Review. To be fair he has to just make one correction. Turn your head and look for the ball on defense. If he does this twice instead of run directly into the defender and push he isn't the goat anymore. It is very coachable mistake for a young player. It took McKelvin 5 years to learn to turn his head and look for the ball. I'm thinking Duke Williams could learn faster than that.
  20. Yeah I was agreeing with you. It is just so frustrating as a fan. Our CBs on paper should be a strength, but instead are a liability. The front 7 is now a force to be reckoned with but the CBs are leaky. No Duke Williams PI, no Tyms TD and the game is a different game.
  21. Seriously though but in more ways than just his individual play. I do believe that the Tyms TD and probably the Duke Williams PI would have never happened with Aaron Williams on the field. I also think Aaron Williams is responsible for play calling in the secondary, or at least audibles. On some plays the secondary just looked completely lost. They weren't sure of the coverage or the position. It was complete chaos on some plays. I don't think you can hang that Tyms TD on Gilmore, he was in good position with his arm in the receiver's chest. Brady is Brady and this **** just happens with him. If anything McKelvin may have been in better position to tip the ball but decided to watch instead.
  22. That is a really good assessment. It's crazy when you read competent sports reporting, imagine if the TBN had that.
  23. It makes zero sense that a GM of 1 NFL team would know about 100s of 100s of cover ups of domestic violence. Just think about it for two seconds. The NFL doesn't have a domestic violence problem. The media has a need for sensationalizing stories problem.
  24. or it's just plain, simple and true.
