  1. Interesting definition of exact. It's exactly almost exact, sort of . . . Way to jinx the Jests game!!!
  2. He actually looked horrible in college. Even his good year was not that good. He was hyped out of High School and everyone just looked past his on the field performance, which was terrible (on a terrible W team) (I did love me some Mason Foster though, That would have been a solid pick over Whatshisname. However Whatshisname did net us Jerry Hughes so in the long run if we re-sign Jerry Hughes. The Whatshisname pick was good for his trade value) To my surprise Locker showed some glimpses in the NFL where I thought. "Wow he is not completely terrible;" but in the end his hype did not live up to his performance. He could be a backup in the NFL. If Colt McCoy is still kicking it around the NFL, I guess Locker will get a few looks here and there. I'm sure there will be some posters that want to be in Buffalo. Do not count me as one.
  3. Week 8 - Bills @ Jets LOSS Week 10 - KC @ Buff LOSS Week 11 - Bills @ Fish WIN Week 12 - Jets @ Bills WIN Week 13 - Browns @ Bills WIN Week 14 - Bills @ Broncos LOSS Week 15 - Packers @ Bills WIN Week 16 - Bills @ Oakland WIN Week 17 - Bills at NE* LOSS
  4. I thought that was a misprint! Send Jacksonville, Bucs, or Rams to London! Football all day is a fantastic idea !
  5. Filed under: No ****, Sherlock.
  6. I understand the ancient history of the teams. I clearly said since "the merger." The Merger happened in 1966. If a Generation is 25 years. That is over 2 generations ago. The Rams were in LA at the merger. That should be the starting point for Original location, thats my point.
  7. The one point is that the Bills actually have been open with what their pick would have been if they stayed at 9. It was not Kelvin Benjamin. Also the Brown have been open that they would have taken Sammy Watkins had they stayed put. So the Bills could have tried to trade up to 5 or 6 to get Watkins he would have been off the board at #4 By the Brown or Bills. We know what that variable would have been had the Bills did not trade up. It was the completely pedestrian and average TE, Eric Ebron. Drafting Eric Ebron at #9 overall would have been a huge mistake. Eric Ebron was not the fastest, biggest, strongest, or best receiving TE in the draft. His ascension to a Top 10 pick was mind boggling to me. Talk about opportunity cost. You could have gotten a similar player in the second round. So would you rather A.) Have Eric Ebron and a Top 10 pick in 2015. Or B.) Sammy Watkins and give the Browns a pick in 32-16 range? I choose B every time.
  8. Yeah I'm pretty sure people will still call him "basically a rookie" next year. I'd bet a month's worth of chicken wings on it.
  9. Any Bills owner should vote Yes to an LA franchise unless the team was in its original (since the merger) location. LA is the Rams original location. It shouldn't be a question. the vote is Yes. Now if the Vikes wanted to move the answer is No. (The vacuum in Minnesota would create the need for another relocation to fill it, Like Baltimore, Cleveland (expansion), Houston (expansion))
  10. I think the rule is it needs to get past the LoS. It was pretty damn close. It looked like it hit the down marker. No issue there.
  11. Thanks for posting! 1.) If Chad Greenway isn't waving hand signals at the snap of the 4th and 20, he might have the extra 5 inches in coverage to make a play on the Ball. 2.) That Hogan catch is even better than I remember. It was a "back shoulder throw" but it actually was too back shoulder, where the defender had a better chance at the Ball. Hogan basically intercepted the ball from Xavier Rhodes! Wow! 3.) Talk about staring down a receiver Orton basically looks at Sammy the whole way on the TD pass. Didn't matter though Sammy is too quick. 4.)That peddle move by Sammy at the line worked on the 2nd and 15 reception and the TD reception. The DB was staring at Sammy's feet and Sammy just broke away. Slick. 5.) I have no problem with Christian Ayenbendayo. I don't know why you all hated his color commentary. I think its because he sounds almost exactly like Teddy Bruschi.
  12. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24761705/the-week-in-overreactions-alex-smith-is-more-than-a-game-manager Watkins trade continue to be delusionaly criticized in the national media. Ask yourself this question would the Buffalo Bills trade Sammy Watkins to the Cleveland Browns for 2015 1st, 4th and a 2016 1st. I think the answer is No. An All-Pro WR in hand is better than 3 picks in the draft.
  13. Who ever has their hand up this sock puppet's ass, I love it! Keep it going!
  14. Just Win baby! I don't care what it takes to get s W. Get a W!
  15. Bush is a great back in RBBC Our pre-season favorite Joique Bell is the chain mover in that offense. Spiller and Bush have many similarities in their game and will probably have a similar career trajectory. I don't think the Saints really shed too many tears over his departure. Even if Spiller does well in Philly, I don't think the Bills would shed too many tears over his departure.
  16. Wow Janet Snyder is still a thing.
  17. All in all CJ is super lucky. If it was a knee, ankle, hip he would be untouchable as a Free Agent; Even Shoulder or Elbow would hurt his value. The fact that it is a collarbone may actually increase his Free Agent value. Its not a real concern for re-injury once it heals properly. Now he is going to be well rested and healed for 2015. If its a 2 Mil signing bonus and 1.5 contract with Drew Brees, Chip Kelly, or Philip Rivers its a better deal for him to showcase his talent, than being stuck with Hacket.
  18. Plus a QB doesn't take contact on every play, a RB will take contact on every play either blocking, running or receiving.
  19. He may take a 1 year with 1 year option deal at say Philly, New Orleans, or San Diego where he can showcase his talents. Then see if he can squeak out a 3 year deal somewhere for decent money. Current trajectory is 1 year more with the Bills then journeyman Fill in RB if he stays imo.
  20. That is not the point. I'm not arguing your Baseball Nerd Stats. And Yes I can possibly attribute wins above replacement to a single player. I just did. I'm definitively making the claim that the Bills would not win atleast 3 games if Stevie Johnson were in the lineup in place of Sammy Watkins therefore the trade was well worth, through only the first 7 games of the 2014 season.
  21. You can't sign a player to your practice squad from another team's practice squad they have to be on the 53 possibly even active. I'm not sure about the active part. So Freddy is staying on the 53, he will just be inactive. Bryce Brown is taking his spot on the Active. So there is really just 1 spot open on the 53. Maybe they sign Lance Seastruck to the 53 or bring back Wingo. Either way that person may not be active with Boobie Brown and Tank. Definitely don't see any trades happening. They made the trade in the off season to get Brown. The Bills are lucky in that they may be able to weather this storm. No offense to the injured CJ, Brown and Boobie may be an upgrade to the way he was playing and being used. Boobie can take a dive up the middle and get 3 yards and be happy. Where CJ was looking for the big play.
  22. Actually it is sound logic. It just doesn't fit into your opinion of what WAR might look like if it were calculated in Football. And more importantly we don't win those 3 games if Stevie Johnson is in instead of Watkins which is the !@#$ing point.
  23. When did I talk about any single play? It is done any way I !@#$ing want to do it since it is not kept in Football. Next time keep your thoughts to yourself.
  24. It is not compiled in football at all. Bills don't beat Dolphins, Lions and Vikings with Stevie Johnson in place of Watkins imo.
  25. Exactly Sammy Watkins "wins over replacement" is atleast 3 so far this season.
