Completely agree. My expectation is the Bills character is to quit on their coach. I expect a no show by the players on Thursday. Almost every game has been a blowout on Thursday night. Losing to the Chiefs in the typical Same Old Bills fashion of self inflicted wounds and incompetent play calling proves it is the Same old Bills. Case closed. People can be in denial if they choose but you will need to work your through to acceptance in your own time. I have a lot of experience in accepting the Same Old Bills so I'm already there. Don't worry you'll get there too.

If it doesn't work I don't know the first 5 times maybe try something different? Calling the same plays over and over and having them blow up due to player performance and not changing your strategy or play calling is on Hackett. It wasn't like it was one bad throw. Sorry both the play calling and player performance was terrible. A player may not be able to change gears and get out of bad game. A coach's job is to make adjustments when players are t performing. No adjustments is the crime and Hackett gets the blame.

Are you turning your expectation to High? I'm turning my expectations to Low. I just want 9-7. It'll be a stretch but I think they could get their first winning record in a decade.

Do you know what a Prevent Defense is? They were in the opposite of Prevent Defense. They had the line of scrimmage stacked against the run. That's why when Charles broke out there was no one behind the Front. Sorry TPS, this year the 6th seed is going to be 11-5. I think you may need some Math lessons if you think the playoffs are in reach at 5-6. Did you see Sunday's game? This has already been determined. This is the same old Bills. We're just missing the game where the team completely quits on the coaches. I expect that to happen on Thursday 38-3 Dolphins is my prediction.

Pee wee coaches can make an adjustment when plays are not working say 4 times in a row. Maybe the next 2 plays should be something different?

That drive is also horrible, but the only reason it doesn't keep me up at night is because we had the lead at that point in time and got points on the board. Even though a contender would convert that to a TD. Horrible RedZone play calling is all we can say.

Do they stack the box and try to prevent the 1st down or do they focus on protecting the end zone? The Bills were averaging 5 yards a carry. Wouldn't a Play Action Pass be perfect in a situation like this? Get the defense to react to the fake handoff and then take a shot to a receiver that is less than 14 yards for a possible game winning TD. Nooooo! We predictably try to jam it down the guard and get stuff by a defense that looked stacked against the run. If you take a shot at 2nd and 1, and get an incomplete. You still have a 3rd and 1!. This play drove me nuts and my brother wanted to gag me when we were watching the game, I lost my mind on how stupid that play call was at that point on the field and in the game. Then the next 4 plays were mind numbingly stupid. It was as if 1.) Hacket didn't realize the Bills can set up a 1st and goal at the 5, or 2.) Hackett believes you can only score TDs by passing the ball. 1st and 10 at the 15 with an offense that likes to clear out the defense with long routes by WRs then dink to Receivers that cross the field underneath the clear out. Wouldn't that be a great play when you're 15 yards from the endzone????!!!! Nooo!!! We all of sudden start throwing weak fades that looked like the WR and QB had never practiced the plays in their lives. 1st . . . incomplete towards endzone . . . 2nd . . . incomplete towards endzone . . . 3rd . . . incomplete towards endzone . . . 5th . . . incomplete towards endzone . 4th down really killed me!!!! What were they doing? We can still get the first down! It'd be hard for the Chiefs to defend the end zone and the 1st down! Take a shot to extend the drive!!! No!!!!! We take another lame attempt at the end zone and effectively lose the game. This possession is keeping me up at night. Just pure torture.

If you're expectation is that a defense shut out an offense on every game, You have unrealistic expectations. When Jarius Wynn went out of the game the Chiefs exploited Manny Lawson's inability to set the edge, then one of the best RB in the NFL went pinball game all over the Bills once he broke contain. The Bills defense still forced a 4th and 1 and Andy Reid actually had the sack to snap the ball and win the game. The Defense played more than well enough to win the game, only allowing 17 points and one TD off of a Turnover on a shortened field. The Bills offense was in the redzone 4 Times and scored 6 points. You can place the tiniest microgranular of blame on the Defense if it makes you feel better but the Offense did everything they could to lose the game. The Chiefs defense made ZERO big plays to shutdown the Bills Offense. The Bills Offense just threw 4 Stupid passes into the endzone or stands. So don't pretend that the Chiefs defense stood stout. They could have just laid down and watch the offense throw stupid pass after stupid pass and have the same net effect.

Except this team quit last year. So many of them have a documented history of quitting on Doug Morrone.

I expect a bloodbath too. I expect the team to quit on Marrone after that heartbreaking loss. 38-6 fish. I hope I'm wrong but I see a Tampa style no show coming up on Thursday.
