  1. I had an Al Davis moment while looking at the chart. I couldn't get over Derrick Morgan's 4.77 40 time. Then I saw Ryan Mathews 4.37, and Taylor Mays 4.31 ( ) 40 time. If only 40 time was remotely important when evaluating NFL football players . . . For all you Jimmy Claussen lovers out there try this one: Jimmy Clausen is a 4.76 and Derrick Morgan is a 4.77, therefore we should take Jimmy Clausen
  2. I'm not saying I agree with the ass clowns but the ass clowns would, in your example, be correct; SINCE ALL THE FRANCHISES USE "THE CHART." The ass clowns would only be wrong if everyone agreed with the New York Times and all the teams changed their policies. Otherwise all these slaw jacked yokels that opine about trading up and or down, or the best are when they propose to trade down then parlay the extra picks into trading back up should use "the chart." Until such time that NFL franchises have decided to lower the value of their top picks. Or even better stop posting silly fantasies about trading picks. Maybe we can trade picks to obtain world peace and nuclear disarmament. I think it would take atleast 2 first round picks.
  3. http://twitter.com/buffalobillscom Older brother to Rashard, Maybe they Can acquire Joe Flacco's brother next. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/foot...hool/index.html
  4. 1.) You can't use the Bills' past draft history as an indicator of future history, its a new administration. 2.)The Deadskins have a huge need at LT, why would they possibly trade out of getting the Blue Chip Tackle in the draft? Makes 0 sense for the Deadskins. 3.) What position is "non-need" for the Bills? Punter. The truth is Beluga and obviously Okung is exactly what the Bills need but it would take a whole lot to move up the 6 spots to get him. No one wants Lynch. We have no other players of any real value to trade, so we would need to trade a whole hell of alot of picks to get up to #2,3,5. Its not likely. Just hope that CJ. Spillers is there at 9 and someone is willing to trade up for him. If not then its most likely going to be someone like Branden Graham or Derrick Morgan at 1.09 With Rodger Safford, LT Indiana at 2.09
  5. Before you vote you need to understand that he is a Restricted Free Agent. Meaning that we have to work out a deal. At minimum it would look like a 3 year $12 mil. I'm not a fan of giving this dude a multi year contract. We can pass on Campbell. He doesn't add anything to the 3 Headed Donkey QB situation that we have now. We don't need a 4th Donkey.
  6. Now the Redskins are all but guaranteed to take an LT Meaning its even more less likely that Beluga is there at 9.
  7. I double checked Campbell is a Restricted Free Agent, with 1st and 3rd tag. http://www.rotoworld.com/Content/playerpag...NFL&id=3137 The Deadskins most likely will have to change that tag and rotoworld seems to think that they can .
  8. I live in DC. I am forced to see(not watch) Redskins games and coverage. That O-Line was worse than ours with almost just as bad the amount of injuries. I am not a Campbell fan, I think Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams made his career. Those were his backfield in college anyone can look great with those dudes toting the ball behind you. But Trading a 2010 4th and a conditional 2011 would not be a horrible idea. If the Bills know they are passing on Clausen, then you're decision is do you want Pike, LeFevour or some other scrubbier "developmental" QB or Campbell. It could make sense but I believe Campbell is a restricted free agent and he was only tendered a 1 year deal with 1st and 3rd compensatory picks if another team signs him. Meaning no way anyone signs Campbell until the redskins rescind the offer. I'm not sure if they can just change the compensatory part and just say "Um, we mean a 4th." Either way the Bills would have to work a deal with Campbell before finializing the trade. This means a signing bonus atleast a 3 year deal. So do you want Pike/LeFevour/notherScrub or Campbell for 3 years 12 Million? I just talked myself out of the Campbell deal.
  9. I would love Bulaga / Cody draft. I doubt the Bills would be that lucky. It's much needed Beef on both sides of the Ball. New England is the only team strong enough to tell Tebow to forget being a QB you can shatter Gonzalez' records at TE. That would suck watching George Wilson try to table Tebow. Brady has another 6 years easy. No way New England drafts Tebow to be a QB.
  10. I think Stevie has potential. Its not likely he will be competing with anyone right now. BTW 'Bot why do you have Ben Tate RB, Auburn at 140? I see he ranked in the second or third round?
  11. Nice! btw I'm refering to Him as Maybi as in Maybi he can convert to LB Maybi he can stay above 240 lbs Maybi he can be worth his draft pick some day.
  12. When you say you mean the draftboard looks like some like this: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=110848 And you put Brandon Graham as the last option with Trent Williams/McClain/or Brandan Graham Then I think its a possibility. I see your: and raise you: (about 25% of this can be a CJ Spiller highlight\lowlight)
  13. Awesome, I was hoping there would be some consensus on this board around this logic. The only argument I expect is the Golden Domers clamoring for Clausen over all else.
  14. If Okung is there take him (not likely) if not then if Beluga is there take him (less likely) if not then If Derrick Morgan is there (take him) * If not then take Jimmy Clausen (not a fan but he is growing on me) If not then Spillers most likely will be on the board (look for trading partner) If no trade available then the Bills are screwed maybe Trent Williams RT \McClain (this is not ideal but you got to work with what happens) *The more and more I think of options and 1.09. The more and more I'm getting comfortable with Derrick Morgan not saying he is #1 on the list but given who will be drafted #1-8, he could be a good safety net pick If you look at the tackles: Okung will be gone. Buluga is likely to be gone as well. (If he is there you need to give some prayers of thanks, and he will be the no-brain-er pick {ike Orapko was a no-brain-er last year}) The Consensus on Trent Williams is that he will be an NFL RT (Which we need.) The drop off in talent to the next group of Tackles is pretty big. Bruce Campbell is a athletic RAW freak. Anthony Davis is a knucklehead Derrick Morgan is going to be a good DE with stud potential, plus if Gaily helped recruit him and or already knows if he has the right personality to be successful it makes even more sense. If Derrick Morgan is there at 9 it would be nice to have someone that can put pressure on a QB and if Maybi ever transitions to a LB and if he can rush on the same side or opposite, that could be nice. (Maybi getting significant, deserved PT is a thing of dreams) Dan Williams from Tennessee is starting to pop up in my reading a needed Big Ugly, will never get big stats but can help with our horrible run defense. Him and Stoud on the same line gives us some beef in the middle. But he may be more of 4-3 player. If no tackle is taken is taken at 1.09 Then at 2.09 Charles Brown, USC (Raw needs weight) or Rodger Saffold (Talked about as the "sleeper LT" of the draft) should be there. Both of those players are maybe less raw talent or less practice than Anthony Davis but also less knucleheadeness.
  15. I see similarities between Tate and Josh Reed. (Reed was a strong dude) Tate is faster than Reed ever was and Tate has maybe more of RB mentality after he gets the ball but the two have more in common than they have differences. For the money Josh Reed is exactly what the Bills need, sticky hands out of the slot. Makes 3rd down catches. Don't really get letting him go. He struggled with injuries early but turned into a steady hand reliable option the last couple years. Maybe he wants a chance to be a somebody. If we don't go WR in the draft we could still resign him but in the GOBBs (Good 'ole Buddy Boy System) he probably doesn't have connections anymore.
  16. +1 Byrd and Wilson need to be on the field more often than Donte or Scott. But Donte would be next on the field at string. Thats why Donte can be expendable. He is not the worst but for the money you can get some dude in the 5th round that can learn behind Wilson, Byrd & Scott.
  17. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Peter-S...ck-draft-032410 This is the first time that Golden Tate has been on my radar as far as a possibility for the Buffalo Bills. I have to say, I don't think its likely, but if the Bills pass on Clausen and take a tackle, do you think Tate would be a good fit in Red, White, and Bills' Blue? Both lines are in need of bolstering, after the D-Line and O-Line it is WR\QB as the next big holes to fill. You can find a decent developmental RT\Gs in later rounds, you can also find decent developmental D-Line man in later rounds. Golden Tate seems to be on the other-side of almost every Clausen highlight I see. If you're down on Claussen are you up on Tate? A D-Lineman, O-Lineman, and QB\WR must be taken in the first 3 picks. I was leaning towards QB but Tate does look special. The more you read about him, I don't think you could question Tate's "leadership" or "dedication." Prior to Schrager's article, I was seeing him involved with the Jets & Pats and fearing having to watch him eat up the defense two times a year. Not advocating but thought it would be interesting to hear your perspective.
  18. I fail to understand why people don't pay attention and blather on about something they think they know. There is no salary cap this year.
  19. I hear ya I was so pissed with the Maybin pick last year. Many people thought I was overreacting, "give the guy a chance" they said. I felt liking puking or punching someone or both. Orakpo fell right in our laps, thats what makes it worse. Although he didn't prove to be an impact player, Orakpo got atleast 1 tackle in 15 games for 50 tackles where Maybi got about 15 total tackles. I was proven right, so far. I hope that I am wrong some day. The only saving grace was we had another 1st round pick. I just focus on that. Plus this year were going GOBBS, Good Ole Buddy Boy System. Maybe the new regime can avoid the obvious busts, like Maybin.
  20. I agree that atleast one of these Gailey guys will be in the fold. Good news is they all look like talented dudes. I especially think that D. Thomas could be a beast in the NFL. He will not likely be there at 2.09 though. The rumor is the Jets are getting hot for him at the bottom of the first. Plus the Colts and Manning have not been secretive that they want Dez Bryant, also not secretive that they don't want to trade up for him so Thomas would be a good concession prize.
  21. A faster Thurman? Really is that your expert analysis? Is he a smaller OJ, and a quicker Joe Cribbs too? If the Bills take Spillers with the #9, there will be people with pitchforks and torches outside the retirement home where Buddy Nix lives. Who is going to block for this gnat sized RB? Incase you didn't notice about 70% of Freddy Jax' yards came after contact. This is not Tennessee or San Diego. Every running play would like like when Ray Lewis buried Darren Sproles last year. I think the good ole football boys running the Bills understand Spillers is not a fit for the Bills.
  22. Then click videos then turn off safe search. You're welcome.
  23. I agree, I think Denver gave him a shot too put he washed out. He is another WR on paper that should be very good. But was never able to translate to the NFL. Worst case he can be a special team gunner. There is not a good track record of washed out WRs reviving their NFL career but you have to trry
  24. Cerrato was a recruiting director for Notre Damn he gets a small portion of credit for their National Championship. He is in the Golden Domer club. Plus he got booted out of DC after being one of the worst NFL executives (6/10 worst free agency signings in NFL history were during his reign) Not a great source. BTW you may way to rework your sign Julius Caesar would be the first JC in chronological order (remember the whole crucification by the Romans thing that kinda sealed Jesus' place in history) Not really sure what the 3 of those people have in common besides their initials when their names are translated into Engligh. And Ryan Leaf Tim Couch Jimmy Clausen Have much more in common
