  1. I'll never forgot draft day 2004, I HAD (stupid 2010 draft) an annual poker game with a group of friends and I was psyched about Big Ben, after the Big Eli\RiversQB trade there wasn't anyone that was expected to be in the QB Market. Jax had Leftwitch, Houston had Carr, Jets had Pennington, and the Steelers had Tommy Maddox coming off of a good year. I was talking about how this Big Ben was as big or bigger than a LB and has a great arm, he played in cold weather he is going to turn the Bills franchise around. One of the guys was a big steelers fan, I was in the middle of my diatribe when the Steelers pick went to the podium. I almost **** myself when I heard Roethlisberger's name . My friend started pointing and laughing immediately. He still texts me, "Tell me again about Roethlisberger" to THIS DAY! He can rape my whole family if the Bills get two Lombardi trophies.
  2. Whoever took that video should be hung by thier balls from the back of a pickup truck and drag-ed through the streets of Dallas. If men can't talk like men and have a candid conversation in a bar without it ending up on the internet then I want to blow up the internet. If I ever meet that weaselly, sissy, rat, snitch I . . . Peyton Manning: Alright, I'll KILL a snitch! I'm not saying I have, I'm not saying I haven't. you know what I mean. [ shrugs ] Whatever. You kids don't know http://www.hulu.com/watch/1603/saturday-ni...live-united-way
  3. 1: Jim Clausen - Cleveland Browns 2: Tim Tebow - Minnesota Vikings 3: Eric Berry - Kansas City Chiefs 4: CJ Spiller - San Francisco 49ers 5: Dez Bryant - Seattle Seahawks
  4. There were like 500 RB that toted the rock for Big Blue plus both QBs. Rich Rod isn't overwhelemed. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those Michigan RBs makes a team from training camp or becomes a late round steal. Wasn't Carlos Black in that backfield? Is he a senior? He looked OK too. I don't think either of those guys is highly ranked so Michigan Men will probably track their progress on what ever team the land in during training camp.
  5. Looks like Big Ben took Wesley Willis advise and he CUT THE MULLET!
  6. OK. So we didn't trade anybody. Why the would SportsCenter freak me out like this out? I still love you SportsCenter.
  7. Tampa has the #42 pick as far as I can tell? Did we trade Lynch to Tampa for #42? What the is going on?
  8. + 1. This is 2.09 discussion. The foot injury had dropped D Thomas. He probably would be the concessus #2 WR in the draft if not for the injury, he is still the # 2 on many boards. 30 days ago he was projected late 2nd round, now I see him late 1st on a few mocks to the Jets. Any way you slice it he will never be drafted at 1.09.
  9. You are correct sir. However Maybi couldn't even earn PT. It wasn't like Maybi was on the field and just couldn't get any tackles. Maybi was beat for Playing Time by sub par, journeymen veterans. You think Orakpo would be benched most of the season? If you locked Orakpo and Maybi in a room together and made them fight it out to the death, hand to hand combat, who do you think comes out of the room? Orakpo is a physical beast and has proven to be much pro ready. What is the point of drafting a skinny, fast DE with #11 overall pick? Huge whiff on draft day. You can get a developmental, skinny-fast DE\LB that will take 3 years of coaching to earn PT in round 4. But all of that is outside of Maybi's control, its the situation he was put in; I still holdout hope for that the dude earns deserved Playing Time and performs at an all pro level.
  10. The biggest issue with Maybi (he should be refereed to as Maybi, as in Maybi he will be worth the #11 pick some day) is not his fault Orapko fell to the Bills at #11 and the franchise completely messed up. Orapko stepped in and get 50 tackles his rookie season earned PT and Maybi lingers on the bench as the Highest paid Jill. The two players' careers are forever linked. Its not fair, but life isn't fair. Maybi doesn't only need to get better and earn PT he needs to outperform Orakpo as well. But I hope he does perform at OLB. I have no clue if he has lateral movement. The highlight reels I see, from college, he pretty much just runs really fast in a straight line to the QB. So Maybi he becomes a good OLB some day in the future but the Bills could have filled immediate needs at #11 with a player that was actually ready to play. The scariest thing, is maybi in the 2012 season he gets good, you think the Bills are going to pay him premier OLB money? No, the Bills will continue to be the farm team for the NFL and he will get called up to a contender that will pay him.
  11. Respond to the bold words, not the compliments for being succinct you nincompoop.
  12. This is the smartest, most apropos post I have ever read in the history of every message board I have ever read. Biscuit, I was sad when you went to the Colts but now I'm glad you're back.
  13. - Child Molester's speech before being arraigned.
  14. 1.) There is no existing measure of will. If there were that would be a bazillion more times important than 40 time. Therefore it cannot be factual or non-factual. 2.)You are correct; if everyone just waited for "one in ten QB" then none will be drafted in the first ten picks!!!; BUT QBs WILL BE DRAFTED IN THE 2ND 3RD and 6TH (Tom Brady) and they will prosper if the franchise is prepared for them.
  15. Do you read and understand English? If so, your post does not prove that. Yes Sam Bradford fits into the blank. What do you think will happen if the Bills draft Sam Bradford? We go to the Super Bowl every year? If so the Bills should trade every pick from now until eternity to pick Sam Bradford. The point is the franchise needs some help before they pick a guy that can toss the pig skin.
  16. No, I'm not saying that at all. Read again.
  17. What gets lost on you people is that Heath Shuler, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, Matt Leinartt and the list goes on, all looked just as good as Jimmy Clausen some better, some worse. But they all get written off in the "QB First" argument as, "well they sucked, this guy doesn't suck." All of those guys could have prospered if they were in the right system at the right time. They all are very talented at throwing the football and all did well in College. Next year there will be another batch of kids that is very talented at throwing the ball. By focusing on filling the O-Line in top 10 of the 2010 draft the Bills will be in a much better spot to have success with another talented kid in next year's draft. Its much better then throwing JC to the wolves and watching him struggle then become a headcase like TE. (not saying TE and JC are on the same talent level, saying that TE was showing potential then got his bell rung behind a horrible line and it never got un-rung) Pro Bowl is a popularity contest and is completely irrelevant, especially for O-Line.
  18. +100 A poker tournament during rounds 4-7, just isn't as interesting. Why bother having it.
  19. Winning doesn't mean a Super Bowl you silly boy. Incase you haven't noticed the bills are a 7-9 team. John Elway, Marino, Manning, and McNabb took 7-9 quality teams to the playoffs and beyond. Jimmy Clausen couldn't win in ND. He can't take a 7-9 Bills team to the playoffs. Dan LeFevour owns a ton of passing records, way better numbers than Jimmy Clausen, with your faulty logic, Dan LeFevour would be the better QB in the NFL. Jimmy Clausen will become the next Brady Quinn on a team that has no line & no WRs, a young TE, an overachieving RB, an underachieving RB, and a defense that can't stop the run. He is not the right fit for the Bills. There will be another highly skilled QB next year or later in the draft, the Bills are much better served using a top 10 pick on getting better on both lines . He is not a once in every ten year, throw the franchise on the back type of player. Plus his forehead is goofy looking, thats the real reason I don't think he will be a fit on the Bills, not the logical, obvious argument above.
  20. Ÿ +1000000 That's the whole point. Clausen is a good skll player. He needs support. He is not Marino Elway Manning that can throw a team on his shoulder and win (you can add McNabb to that list) There is no support for him in Buffalo. He is not that highly skille, 1 in a generation talent. There are a half dozen QBs like him everyy year
  21. +1. 40 time doesn't = everything. I can't imagine all 32 passing on him then all 32 teams passing on him again. Then 1 more time. If you're going to "reach" this is the type of player you grab earlier than the "experts" think.
  22. Here is a reason: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/74/198934665_5dfb5f8754.jpg
  23. . . . something to prove on special team? You do need to be angry and or crazy to run down the field fullspeed and tackle someone.
  24. "I love JC! He is the best! ND Defense sucks. His initials are J and C just like you know Touchdown Jesus!" "Jimmy Clausen is a bust. He is overrated. Even the catholic boys at ND punched him in his overated, busted face." Trade Up and take hime! Trade Down and don't take him! Trade Down and take him! BORING!!!
