  1. Chad Simpson was signed by the Redskins Joique Bell will be getting carries this weekend in Philly and expect him to do well. LeSean McCoy is hurt and Mike Bell is old. Its likely we missed the boat. If he does do well good for him, but another bungle by the Bills' brass.
  2. The Difference is the Pats spent a 4th round pick to get Randy Moss, got good production then traded him for a 3rd, getting more value than they paid. Where the Bills used a 1st round pick for Lynch, then couldn't figure out how to use him in a crowded backfield, and traded him for a 4th, getting considerable less value than they paid. Bad franchises make bad decisions thats why they are bad.
  3. Yeah Dorn. The problem is we don't have a Wild thing, Beast Mode was as close we had, or a old guy with bad knees that used to be an all star and the leads the team.
  4. No. Pick that movie. I like that happening. I think Chan can definitely be an Oatmeal spokesperson, so we have that similarity too. Lee Evans would have to be Blair. (Blair is the rich over-paid guy that won't dive ground balls, right?)
  5. That is hilarious. I am not afraid to admit when I am wrong. Thurman may have been in the know or his tweet was coincidence which is a possibility with his twitter account.
  6. Thurman just posted this: Anyone that follows Thurman on twitter knows that all those hits he took the NFL have definitely effected his brain function. He is way out there alot of the time. Don't get me wrong, I love Thurman, he is my favorite Buffalo Bill of all time. But his Tweets are all over the place; Not a reliable source of information.
  7. Or the Colts did to Baltimore Prior, or the Cardinals did to St. Louis, or The Rams did the 300 times they moved, or . . . Oh wait teams just move when they want to without worrying about the city they are abandoning. They don't care how easy it will be for Buffalo Bills' former fans if they are going to move.
  8. I really wish I could stop being a Bills fan. I live in DC suburbs in MD and think its time to switch to the Ravens. The Bills clearly aren't trying anymore. The Problem is my wife's family are Cleveland Browns fans, and needless to say would like to burn the City of Baltimore down for stealing the Browns (even though the Colts were stolen from Baltimore in a far worse manor.) So I'm stuck in Limbo with the Bills. It will only be that more rewarding when we left the Lombardi trophy, or the Bills finally move and can be rid off all of this pain.
  9. Makes sense. If you put the AFC Pro Bowl Team in Bills uniforms and they play in Buffalo for a season they will all probably suck. Why wouldn't you leave after your rookie contract? The team has no direction and doesn't pay its employees fairly.
  10. Whats worse is we traded up to get Pos when Harris would have been there in the second when we picked. I remember when that happened, because my thought turned to the fact that I am going to have to see Harris blow up Bills' RBs and sack Bills' QBs twice a year thinking this guy could have been a Buffalo Bill. Don't get me wrong I didn't think Pos would be a bust but I really liked how mean Harris played at Michigan, and how we has a leader on that team. Everyone always talks about Orakpo\Maybin, but Pos\Harris is another career comp that kills me all the time.
  11. I was once a believer in the myth of Lee Evans. I am starting to see some holes in this myth, especially after that big drop when the game wasn't out of reach.
  12. It seemed like these guys were only on the field for the last minute of the first half then in the 4th. They definitely added a spark to the offense. Some Bills Backers where I watched the game thought that it was Shawn Nelson. We still have a week until we see what the Shawn can do but David Nelson made some plays. David Martin was out there making plays too. It was amazing to see a Tight End catch a ball for more than 7 yards The Bills are executing the 2 minute offense well, it may be against a deep zone defense but still. Maybe we should consider using a Pistol type of offense for most of the game. It seems to be working when we use it. The traditional power running formations have not been that effective this season. Chan ran the pistol offense with Thigpen thats how he was able to do well. Seems like we need to get David Nelson in the game more often. Lee probably needs to sit out a few to all the plays because his wallet seems to be slowing him down this season and his fingers are too sore from counting money to actually catch the ball. If Nelson is going to make something happen then put him in the game.
  13. Worst part is the team that I'm playing in Fantasy football took out the Titans defense at 12:55pm on Sunday for the Gatriots defense. 26 points and counting on DST
  14. The day the Bills traded for Rob Johnson (for Fred Taylor.). It set the franchise into a 13 year tailspin which kind of goes along with the Bill Polian firing. Losing a super bowl by missing a long field goal isn't even in the top ten in my book. The forward latteral and XXVI was much worse.
  15. What have you devolved this into? My point is pretty simple, players that are flagged for excessive celebration are fined. Why is this a surprise? The reason why you searched for fines and didn't get a result is because fines are not in the rulebook. The rulebook is for rules. Player conduct is handled by a disciplinary group that reviews game films and specifically reviews unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. I don't know why you're trying to argue about NFL policy. It's kinda strange. If there were refs on this board I'm pretty sure you'd be flagged for unsportsmanlike posting and possibly be assesed a fine when the mods review the posts latter in the week.
  16. The only thing I'm trying to do is to impart knowledge to you. You are clearly either too dense or too deep into denial to listen. You can lookup Unsportsmanlike Conduct in the NFL rule book if you like. Look at Section 3 Article 1 (d) and (e). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1600781438#reader_1600781438 Whenever a player is flagged, which Stevie Johnson was, there is a personal fine assessed to the individual. I guess you can vent your displeasure with the No Fun League, but the NFL is pretty consistent with this. The only exception is the Lambeau Leap. The ref is supposed to warn the individual to stop if they're itchy to throw the flag. So which ever ref through the flag gave a whole hearted or half-assed attempt to waive Stevie off, Stevie either didn't see or ignored it. Flag was thrown. Fine will come later that week. This is just basic NFL knowledge. No real need to discuss or argue.
  17. Well, the refs and I think it was choreographed, so you might want to give the NFL a call and let them know your opinion. I'm sure it will be received very well. Like your post.
  18. Anyone complaining about this penalty does not watch the NFL. He knew he was going to get fined when he did it. The coaches knew he was going to get fined. Everyone in the stadium knew he was going to get fined. For future, every single time a player is flagged for excessive celebration, there is a fine. 100% of the time. Whenever you do a choreographed celebration or use props of any kind, it is excessive celebration. This is not a surprise. Maybe you can be surprised that it was 10K instead of 5K, but it was gun related. Welcome to the NFL. Stevie's only making 300-500K so I hope the fine is tax deductible for him. The NFL says it goes to charity. 10K is almost half a game check for him.
  19. Thats my point exactly. Keep watching.
  20. I'm sure thats from a great source, but during the Notre Dame game Luck kept throwing passes without his feet under his body. I think thats why so many of them would fall short. I've only seen 4 games of each player but Luck still looks raw, imo. I think the comparisons between Matt Ryan, and Mallet may develop. Ryan Mallet has a better completion percentage and a better arm than Ryan. If Matt Ryan goes #3 overall, I'm starting to believe that its likely Mallet goes just as high or higher.
  21. If you see Tom Brady as a person and don't want Tom Brady to die a horrible death, you're not a real Bills fan. Please De-Activte your account. I'm pretty sure that Tom Brady would wipe the floor with this fleabag Frenchmen. I hope Tom flies over to France on the Bye week and pummels this dude, in the process fracturing his throwing hand. This would be great for two reasons, that French scum bag would get whats coming to him, "You don't mow another man's lawn" and Tom Brady would be out for the rest of the season.
  22. Who's you? Bills management for dumping Mitchell on the IR two years in a row? Or Mitchell for now rehabbing well? I don't if if either is lazy.
  23. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/10/01/bills-announce-injury-settlement-with-kawika-mitchell/ The soon-to-be 31-year-old Mitchell has been a starter throughout his NFL career, and once he's healthy enough to play, he should be able to help some team down the stretch
  24. What do you actually mean that Buddy Nix isn't listening to "Another Point of View?" I find that surprising. Awesome insight and information in this thread.
  25. I stand corrected. Why do you hate him so much? Last year who would have you preferred be our 3rd QB? Hamdan? The People rooting for Brohm to start are just reacting to poor QB performances. If the #2 QB were John McGillacuty they would be rooting for McGillacuty to start. It has very little to do with Brohm.
