1 . Toby was going opposite of the motion. What are you talking about. 2. It's not a TE it's Brylon Edwards and there is a corner right next to him. Not really understanding why you're defending horrible play. Poz is the one defenfendable he is covering the A gap. And yes this has been posted before.

Is there a link to watch Merriman presser?

I felt embarrassed for the Buffalo media. The first time it was an important question. The 3-10th times it was silly. -

Yeah good start with the presser. He said all the right things. He said he will be on the sidelines for the game. I assume that means street cloths, but who knows if he is healthy, it doesn't take a lot of practice to blitz a QB on 3rd down. -
Can we please nip the Locker stupidity in the bud this year. Jimmy Claussen and baby Colt McCoy were not considered 1st round material. There are no Husky supports to prop up Locker so let's just quit the Locker talk now. If he is there in the third it's something to think about. But the guy does bit have a first or early second round grade by anyone in the NFL. Maybe Todd McShay. But let's just stop the Locker nonsense now.

Thats funny. We both had the same observation, I got distracted on a call so didn't post. Look in my signature. We agree about that too. However I disagree with Robert Quinn. He is suspended, and basically will be watching football on a coach for almost a year before the start of the 2011 season. You pass on him with Top 5 pick. If he falls to the second because of off field issues then you grab him, but you don't pay that guy Top 5 money, its a bad bad bad bad move. Also Luck will be #1 overall Carolina, or the 9ers, or Ills will Take him, its not even in the realm of possibility he falls to the second. But someone like Ponder could be there in the second, But the focus of the 2011 draft has to be OLB, draft 4 and see if 2 pan out as starters, 1 for depth and 1 for PS. It is a huge hole, the way the O-Line has been playing recently its even higher than the O-Line.

Except Sharpe was wrong about Poz. The FB was leading through the A gap hole, that Pos filled. When the FB saw Poz in the A Gap, he bounced out off Tackle. Watch it again. If Pos isn't there there is a Semi-Sized hole right down the Center. But The Kelsay thing is just amazing. Serious what the hell was he doing. There is a CB right next you, why would Kelsay covering B-Edwards is horrible idea any way? WTF? Look in the backfield! You're a freaking LB why are you chasing a WR from behind. And Tobor was a joke. Everyone is flowing in one direction and runs and the center. That is sorry. I like'd that break down by NFL network though. The Bills are the best 0-7 team in NFL history.

Is Nix going to get Merriman back on Roids?
1B4IDie replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The NFL can't. The player or the players lawyer at the players request can. Its unlikely that Merriman's lawyer is making up the type of steroid he got caught with. -

Really? I don't want to get personal but the first question was silly, then the last comment was amazing. You must be over 40 or an idiot. There are these things called annotations, that lead you to references. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/26/sports/football/26steroids.html?_r=1 -
Is Nix going to get Merriman back on Roids?
1B4IDie replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's called wikipedia. It was roids. Even an untrained eye can see His neck is about 4 sizes smaller. But he be a very good player that 'roids made great. Or just an average player that 'roids made great. He has 8 games to prove his worth to the NFL before he hits free agency. -
Since men started competing, men started trying to take potions and tonics to get a competitive edge. The only difference is now we actually have potions that work and we don't know how to ethically deal with this. And the whole Heath hazard myth is foolish. If you are a multimillionaire and want to take a PED with a doctors guidance you can easily take HGH and perform at a higher level without any worse long term effects than actually playing in the NFL, which on it's own reduces peoples lifespans. The adverse health effects come from unmonitored, abusers not extremely rich athletes and trained medical staff. Also. They stare, they glare, they constantly try to compare me, but they can't get near me.

Shawne Merriman: is 26!.: two questions:
1B4IDie replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has had injuries that have kept off of the field the last two seasons. He wants a new big time contract and held out earlier this year. The jury is out. No one knows if he has any juice left. Pun intended. He got caught using PEDs and his injuries increased, his PT and production decreased. So was he great player as a result of PEDs or was it just a coincidence that he got caught using then caught the injury bug. He has a lot to prove. Buffalo gives him the perfect opportunity. If he is healthy enough to play. He immediately becomes a starter and get to show case if he has anything left. If he does he will be a hot commodity on the free agent market in the offseason. -
Perry Fewell Assistant Coach of the Year
1B4IDie replied to HarkinBanks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I liked him as the interim coach, the defense played hard for him. I like Gailey as the O-Co the offense is starting to hum with most of the same bits and pieces of last year. It's the fate of Bills fans never to get the two together at the same time. He deserves Assist Coach of the Year for the first half of the year at least. Good for Perry. -

Holy Crap !!! You are correct. http://content.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/salaries/totalpayroll.aspx?year=2009'>http://content.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/salaries/totalpayroll.aspx?year=2009 I knew the Bills were about 20 Mill Under the cap last year, and have been for awhile. I thought that this was unusually low. http://content.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/salaries/totalpayroll.aspx?year=2009 It turns out it wasn't. How are the Cowboys at 90 Mil, seems strange. That would put them about 30 mil under the cap. The Cap was 127 mil in 2009. Interesting. Ok. I stand corrected the Bills being under 90% of the Salary Cap is not unusually low and is in fact above average spending for an NFL team. -

1. We miss the playoffs with or without him, so that is irrelevant. 2. So Specifically what players are not being developed? The LBs on this team are proven dogs, none of them are long term solutions, there is no time lost in a scheme that won't even be here for long, so that is irrelevant. 3. So if you miss the playoffs you should go 0-16 for the best draft pick? Really? You're hoping for an 0-16 season? That's just silly. -

wrong. He can't get a big contract next year on name alone. He has to showcase he is still lights out if he wants a big contract. If he nurses injuries and causes drama he will be costing himself tons of dough. He will be a perfectly well behaved young man, and if he can he will play up to his full potential to earn a large contract next year. Once he gets the deal he can go back to drama. -

So 2 Free agents in 7 years, that the best you can do. And the team is still less than 90% of the salary cap, so why wouldn't they spend the full amount of money? There weren't any players available? They don't spend the money because it is the Bills business plan to run on the cheap. You really are blind if you don't see that. -

How does it make no sense from a business decision. 2 mil is super cheap for a starting OLB, and you still play games in 2010. People seem to forget that there are 9 games left. You get a possibly good OLB and definitely an upgrade from what you have for 2 mil. Its a damn steal. If Merriman uses this time as a showcase and performs Lights Out even if its for 9 games, its probably the best business decision the Bills have made in a long time even if he leaves. And you're right on about Moss it would have made no sense to claim him. -

Whaaaaa??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! Speilman? no London Fletcher? yes Takeo Spikes? no anyone after 2005? no What history are you talking about? Really you're bringing up a FA from 7 years ago in effort to try and say the Bills Pay their players? Really? Really? Because that just seems so silly why would you post that? Its not an opinion. It is FACT. The Bills have been considerably under the former Salary Cap and still well under that number today. You might have a point if 1 You can name one quality free agent signing in the last 7 years. 2. The Bills paid anything near what the rest of the NFL pays in salary. Its just silly to pretend otherwise. Its not indictment of OPD, its an obvious observation. -

1B4IDie replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. No one does 'roids any more that is soooo 1995, its 2010. You want HGH. That is the good stuff. 2. If you're handing out HGH, don't stop at Merriman, get Maybi and Poz lined up, lord knows Poz needs some help recovering from injuries who knows the next time his glass bones are gonna shatter. Plus Freddie Jackson has got to be getting up there, those sore knees can use some HGH. Then you have the O-Line, Wood and Bell could use some for sure. Then maybe you can take the rest of the HGH and grow a RT with it. 3. -

He needs to cover his head too. Jay Glazer can't even grow hair on his head, how could any good ideas come out of that gourd. The Rental is uncommon in the NFL but WTF Jay? The Bills LBs appear to be horrible, if the Bills didn't claim Merriman you could make an argument that they aren't even trying. Who cares if he leaves via Free Agency, the 2010 LBs are all dogs, lets see if this guy can help for the next 9 games. If he performs well, we get first crack to work out a deal. But lets not kid ourselves, Merriman is going to go to the biggest guaranteed money deal in FA, and its not likely to come from OBD. -
http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Source-49ers-awarded-Thaddeus-Gibson-off-waivers.html 6-4 240, is small (about the same size and production as Maybi, just makes 3 mil more.
-
If its Hockey the Bills would be 0-5-0-2 and have 2 points. That's positive ?
-
FOx Sports says Maybin's salary is 3.45 mil a season.
