Bills looking at options after snowstorm Slams region

I don't like aggregate threads I never read them. You have 15 different people talking about 20 different topics. It just becomes noise. Don't worry we won't run out of ink. We can have special threads for a specific topic like "Is the game going to get postponed?" -

This is thread worthy. I can't get on the press conference call right now. I'll be checking here for updates. -
Bills looking at options after snowstorm Slams region

They have 4.5 days to clear 70" of snow. This is Buffalo not Atlanta we only need the .5 to get ready. Roger better keep his hands off our home game! -
Thank you I was not going to argue the point but the way I see it is best case scenario: 2014-2015 - Worst team in the league 2015 - 2016 - "Learning how to win as a team" season: maybe new coach maybe some youngsters contributing, might sneak into 8th seed 2016 - 2017 - Solid Playoff team (4-6 seed) 2017 - 2018 - Eastern Conference Top dog maybe Cup Contender 2018 - 2019 - Solid Cup contender 2019 is not "ridiculous" it is actually a more realistic timeline for when the Sabres farm systems contributes to making the Sabres a Cup contender in the NHL.

"The Bills are gonna lose anyway, so what if I make a couple extra K on the side?"

That is my plan too, I want to hit all 31 Stadiums (32 if you count Wembley) We had 2 incidents of note in the 15 I've been to (see signature below) 1.) Jacksonville "fans" are just freaking crazy aggressive for no apparent reason. We were challenged to fight multiple times it was just strange, especially when both teams had nothing to play for at the time and are not division rivals. This has been confirmed by other fans that road trip for other teams. 2.) A woman ran up behind my friend at the Redskins game and tried to push him down the stairs. My friend turned around swinging but luckily assessed the situation and stopped (had he connected all hell would have broken loose.) The boyfriend came in, saying "you're going to hit a woman?" It actually seemed like this was scripted between the boyfriend and girlfriend in order to incite a riot. Luckily a Redskins bystander stepped in, called out the woman for pushing my friend ("You need to control your (female dog)" I believe is what he said) and everyone went their separate ways. A visiting fan will get heckled at every stadium, and I believe a visiting fan should be heckled at every stadium. Some good natured ribbing is in order. As long as you can give back a little good natured ribbing you won't get bullied and everyone will have a good time. The chatter is part of the fun. Most people won't take it past ribbing as long you demonstrate you're just having fun. Just understand in Buffalo, the tolerance for the ribbing is pretty low. You will find people that will "drop their gloves" for the smallest perceived slight. It is not uncommon for Bills fans to break out fighting each other, just google "buffalo bills fan fight" . So I'd recommend dialing it back a notch in Buffalo as compared to other stadiums.

You know after Rex is done footing the role of Jests coach, He seems like the kinda guy you wouldn't mind standing toe to toe with at a tailgate.

This is not my agenda. Zero of my posts have any attitude like this. If one were to read my posts zero of the posts make any reference to a demand for a short turnaround. This is an assumption you are making based on zero of my source material. It is an incorrect assumption. My point is simple The Bills are in for a long rebuild this will not be a quick turnaround. Which it seems like you agree based on your post. There are many many many many posters that believe Pegula will somehow turn the Bills around in the short term. I see no evidence of a shot term turnaround happening, yet people are under the misconception that Bills on the field product is going to magically improve simply because Pegula bought the Bills.

Cool Story, Bro. Where is there hate?

Get lucky with a 6th round QB, and give him zero quality tools to throw to or run?

He we did you a favor and beat the rest of the NFC North so tell Aaron to take it easy out there. They'll be plenty of foot at Hammer's lot. Can you fly over some cheese curds?

Ben Tate, LaGarrette Blount released
1B4IDie replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Waiver wire system works in reverse order or record. My guess is one of these guys wind up in Tampa or Minnesota. Let's not forget Oakland. Now if they pass through Waivers and become Free Agents maybe they can sign with a contender but there is some RB need at the bottom of the league. I don't think Ben Tate's contract will scare anyone away: 3/15/2014: Signed a two-year, $6.2 million contract. The deal contains $2.5 million guaranteed -- a $1.5 million signing bonus and Tate's first-year base salary. Tate is eligible for an annual $750,000 in per-game roster bonuses in each season. Another $1.5 million is available through incentives based on rushing yards. 2014: $1 million, 2015: $2.2 million, 2016: Free Agent -
Ben Tate, LaGarrette Blount released

If Bill Bellicheat and Tomlin couldn't handle Blount what do you think Marrone is going to do? Not that I am adverse to putting in a waiver claim for Tate or Blount. I just think it is unlikely. -
Its possible that a trade can work well for both teams. I think this is the case. Doug Hackett would have wasted his improve talents, where his improve talents work well with Kaep. The Bills get value for the vet. Pretty damn good value if compare to what we gave up for Mike Williams or what the Eagles got for DeSean Jackson. it is a win win.

This may be an upgrade for my fantasy team. I have Crowell and Tate. If he goes to Colts that is a double upgrade. -
Thank you for reminding me of what a complete uninformed buffoon I am. Pegula did kill the BuffaSlug maybe he can kill Billy Buffalo and end this wretched curse!

That is news to me. I thought most were successful business men out of football.
-
I've been told in this thread otherwise and that I am a complete Misinformed idiot for thinking that thought.
-
The "football men" he might hire are all unemployed now so how about a nice dinner at Tempo? Like I said I'll believe it when I see it. Right now I'm going to assume he will follow the DR path and give Brandon/Whaley/Marrone enough rope to hang themselves before he makes any moves. I now know this is an extremely unpopular opinion that evokes blind rage in some fans.
-
He seemed capable as a Safety. He would go for the big hit instead if the tackle. Which led to some long scores. www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/wp/2014/09/18/jim-haslett-is-disappointed-bacarri-rambo-did-not-pan-out/ This probably means that Graham will be taking McKelvin's spot.

I agree that the 2020 plan is going to be Awesome for the Bills with a likely world class downtown stadium. The off the field stuff for the Bills looks great. I just don't see any concrete plans and I'm not as optimistic about a short term turn around with on the field performance because there is nothing to indicate there will be any on the field improvements. Just win baby.
