  1. All this crap about drugs, then no one in the media has a followup. I call a Michigan Man conspiracy.
  2. Paul Allen owns one of the Big Euro soccer teams doesn't he? Good question because there are a few NHL/NBA owners but I can't think of an NFL/NBA or MLB or NHL owner. If Pegula can talk some sense to the owners to settle the labor dispute than get him an ownership.
  3. I noticed the guy when looking at combine numbers. What's the tape say? We need to a DB later in the draft for depth so why not? Roosevelt must know him pretty well.
  4. Correct but its a good start, when looking at a prospect. No. The Auburn offense was representative of a modern college offense and Gene Chizik & Gus Malzahn's offensive philosophy. More responsibility? You might not realize this but Auburn's job is not to develop Cam Newton. Auburn's job is to win games. I'm thinking that Cam's 30 passing TDs, 20 Rushing TDs, and 1 Receiving TD while averaging over 5 yards a carry in an undefeated National Championship season, was all the responsibility Cam needed to have in Auburn's eyes.
  5. Interesting article.
  6. The worry, that he will pull the ball down and run all time in the NFL is strange imo. If Chan says, don't run. I think Cam won't run. His rushing in college is 1.) not representative of his decision making. (His coaches at Auburn encouraged this, "If its not there run" 2.) not representation of his throwing ability. (anyone that actually watched the games he played in and thinks he doesn't have a NFL arm, Accuracy, or throwing motion, are Blind, deaf and or dumb) Steve McNair had 1000 yards rushing in college at he turned out to be a great NFL QB. Ben Roethlisberger is a master of improvisation. If Cam Newton can be 75% as successful as either of those QBs its a no-brainer at #3. The two Big concern is footwork, and taking snaps under center imo Probably the Two most coach-able parts of being QB not to mention that taking snaps under center on passing dows is becoming more and more rare in the college game.
  7. Dude? Really? If they're 3-4 or 4-3 in November its time to sit Fitzy? Wow you get the award for most impatient fan. The Bills have sucked for 11 seasons whats another 2-3 to let a QB develop and finally get relevant again. You're on a hot streak now. How about Philip Rivers and Aaron Rodgers?
  8. If Jake Locker were drafted in any round by the Buffalo Bills, or picked up as an UDFA I would lose my ****. That would really get me upset.
  9. Seriously people, please stop talking about Locker. He is complete garbage that already has PTSD from his weak O-Line. He crumbles under any pressure. He has a career .300 winning percentage in college. If there is a sure thing in the draft, its as sure as it gets that Locker will not translate well to the NFL. Inaccurate, unable to read defenses, crumbles under pressure, never was able to win, coached by one of the best Offensive Coordinaters in College Ball and they still couldn't do much with him. Locker is radioactive toxic waste STAY AWAY.
  10. Yeah I guess if the guy doesn't already have 3 years in the NFL going into the draft you just shouldn't draft him.
  11. And you wonder why, he is a "former GM." Sounds like if you do the opposite of what he recommends you have a better shot at being successful than following his advise.
  12. Marshawn Lynch was the starting RB for the first few weeks, then Fred Jackson, I don't think Spiller started a game all year.
  13. So a 5.05 when Rivers was a young man at the combine, before an ACLs and two MCLs (and still played in the Championship game unlike a certain crybaby). So I'm thinking the 10.8 might not be too far off today.
  14. The Good news, is that the its really going to be hard to screw this pick up. I think there is a ton of LB potential in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th round (Many of the best LBs in the league were drafted after the 1st.) I think Cam Newton in Buffalo under Gailey is one of the surest places that Newton will be successful in the NFL. The Problem is can Gailey last the 3-4 more years it would take to translate Newton's potential into wins. I don't trust this organization to have patience. I wouldn't be upset with either. I would be a little upset with Patrick Peterson, just because; really? Another DB. I would think that the Big Athletic D-Lineman that are hard to find later in the draft would be better pick with #3 but it wouldn't be an Aaron Maybin pick when Brian Orakpo was on the board. I remember the exact time and place, I freaked out on that pick. My Wife thought someone died. (Where were you when the Bills picked Maybin?) I can't imagine having a reaction like that this draft day, but the Bills always find away . . .
  15. If I had to guess Philip Rivers 40 time would be around 10.8. If Mallet can play like Philip Rivers I think whatever team drafts him would be pretty happy.
  16. DBs are very rarely taken in the Top5 and to expect a team to essential trade a 1st and 2nd and possibly an additional pick to move up, meaning a franchise would be using 3/7 picks to draft One DB is a giant stretch.
  17. Yeah he ran a super slow 40,4.90 or 4.87, but in the 3rd, I'd considered that a steal. The guy is a football player, you can't question his commitment and leadership. Unless Jeremy Beal was on the board in the 3rd I'd be pretty happy. Not to mention this is the All-Brain Mock Draft, which I'd be pretty happy with as a just standard draft.
  18. That would actually be a great draft. Herzlich in the 3rd and Acho in the 4th would be particularly fortitudeness for the Bills.
  19. Genius. Too bad the Horse didn't eat you.
  20. There is no reasoning needed 90% of the Bills fans the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, and Cincinati Bengals all would like to trade down. They also would all like to have Matt Ryan as their QB, it's not likely either is going to happen.
  21. Julio Jones is arguably as good as AJ Green. There is very little difference in potential. Cam is a cerebral, team captain at a position of need, Cam Jordan that is. If you're trying to predict the unpredictable Bills drafting style I'm going with Cam Jordan, he is a Top 10 pick.
  22. I don't know why you would assume there isn't with pick #34. Just kind of silly to say all the good linebackers are gone in the first 33 picks.
