In your mind that may be true.

Yeah I'm totally crazy to think HGH would improve athletic performance of athletics, its completely ridiculous statement. Its not like the IOC and many international sporting bodies test for the stuff.

Its like saying adding more horsepower isn't proven to make your car go faster. I'm reading between the lines.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/03/21/supplemental-draft-could-include-notre-dames-michael-floyd-2/ Bringing a guy that piles up DUIs to Buffalo probably isn't the smartest idea. However the guy is a stud if Notre Dame bonks him for a half a season or more, I'd wonder if he would declare for the supplemental draft. I'm betting that Notre Dame comes down hard on him, especially with all the recent troubles in South Bend,IN. On the other hand dude was clearly on bar or better than Baldwin, and Baldwin is going second round at a minimum. I like a deal as much as the next guy, I believe Michael Floyd can be a stud in the NFL. Its just that people in Buffalo tend to treat drinking and driving rather lightly as compared to other cities, I'd be worried about the young man making the wrong choices again. If I were Buffalo I would bid a 4th in the supplemental maybe a 3rd, I'm sure a team might go 3rd. The Ravens fans seem to already want to bid a 2nd in the supplemental draft on him. This is the first impact player in the supplemental draft I can remember. Jeremy Jarmon didn't quite work out for the Redskins yet.

Do you mean wasting their money because they're buying stuff that isn't HGH? Aren't you a medical professional of some sort? The Mayo Clinic seems to give HGH a glowing review. Especially if you're already a gifted athlete. This stuff sounds exactly want you want in a magic pill: injections of human growth hormone can: Increase bone density Increase muscle mass Decrease body fat Increase exercise capacity http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/growth-hormone/HA00030 I;m just curious why you would say they're wasting their money.

Confirmed! Bills are the worst-drafting team in the NFL

Modrak still in office is one of the all time crazy personal moves in any business. It'd be like a buss driver crashing a bus every year for a decade or so, killing a few people every time, then somehow surviving all the crashes and asked to drive another bus. When will someone stop this man. -
You're right it was illicit drugs, thats why I couldn't find the article. The player essential said there are about 60 days in the year where you can't smoke weed and if you smoke during those 60 days you have some major problems. So if HGH isn't tested why would anyone do steroids? HGH is better anyways. I mean obviously if it's not abused.

Gabbert was one of the top QBs coming out of High School he was the #14 overall recruit in the nation (Higher than Luck that year #68). Landry Jones was #188 overall when he came out of High School. (which is the same year as Gabbert & Luck) so the "analysts" that were saying he could be #1 overall were probably ma and pa Jones, or more likely no one at all. This is typical Buffalo Bills fan nonsense sentiment. "next year's QB class is better" until it's next year and you get to see the warts and then it's "No I mean next year. . .". Some years it's true some year's it's not. After Luck 2012 QBs are pretty weak. EJ Manuel is a kid that could surprise everyone next year too. Higher ranked than Luck coming out of High School and is finally getting a chance to start at Florida State. The kid looks like how a QB should look like in Spring practice. If he has a big 2011 season he is going to shoot right into the 1 round, given the weak QB class. Trust me anything can't happen, unless Luck losses a limb or is in a comma he is the first QB taken with 100% accuracy and a 99.9% chance of going #1 overall in the 2012 draft. It's as certain as a US Presedential election in 2012, sure Aliens can invade and irradicate the US but it's not very likely.

There was an article in a very reputable sports magazine, I don't remember which one, where a former player basically laid out that you would have to be a complete idiot to get caught. I can't find the article but there are basically 2-30 day periods in the year when you can be picked to be randomly tested and you can plan your HGH cycles around that. There is a notification and reminder by the NFLPA 90, 60, and 30 days before the random testing periods. The player seemed to have the attitude that none of the players have sympathy for anyone that gets caught because the NFL and NFLPA do everything they can to make sure everyone is prepared for the testing period.

How are the Jets #4? -
Lots of good choices I'd almost want to take James brewer, Chimdi Chekwa, and Pernell McPhee out of the 20 options.
-
McShay knows nothing, especially when it comes to QBs. I wouldn't very concerned. #99 would be the first possibility for Dalton and the Bills imo.

Yeah I wondered why that guy posted that?

You lost the bet. And if you read the post, its says "feel more comfortable" not start. Two different things. When Miller is in the net I'm much more on edge because you never know when that softies is going to get past him. He will stop shots that should be goals but will let in shots that a 3rd string goalie would stop. Net-Net Miller obviously is great, just tends to drive me crazy.

Matt Barkley is barely 6'2" he is not likely to be a First round pick. If Colt McCoy were 6'4" instead of 6'1" he would have been a first round pick. You can't really clump Luck in with Jones and Barkley, Luck is in a class a part and clearly better than everyone. That doesn't mean Jones and Barkley are better too. Luck shouldn't be part of this discussion. It just changes the whole discussion. He will undebatable be the #1 overall pick. Even if he blows a shoulder in week1 of the College season a la Bradford. (Don't bring up Locker because Locker came off a 5-7 season where he had 55% completion percentage, crumbled under pressure and has a 20 Wonderlic he had no shot of going #1 overall in 2010 draft let alone a second round pick) My list in order would like this: Cam Newton. Ryan Mallett Blaine Gabbert. Laundry Jones * subject to change with a good 2011 season Christian Ponder. Foles * subject to change if he has a good 2011 season Andy Dalton. Colin Kaepernick Ricky Stanzi Matt Barkley Jake Locker If that kid from Michigan state has a good 2011 he could be a late 1st round pick.

I know everyone will call me crazy but I'm more comfortable with Enroth than Miller. Enroth doesn't give up Softies. Great game the Canes owned the 3rd but the PK and Enroth were outstanding and saved the game. 94 guarantees a playoff spot. 2 from Columbus. The other 2 is going to be tough.

Kelsay is not a bad 4-3 DE and when would ever be in a 4 man front when teams would still be getting 200 yards a game rushing?
-
We need a Samoan! But I'm okay with Jarvis Jenkins. I'm the driver of the Moffit bandwagon but only at the Top of the 4th if he falls there. There are bigger needs that need to be addressed with #68. There are 12 votes for Powe/Jenkins/Fua which beats any other position by far. I'd consider that a mandate.

Dream and realistic top 4 mock

I don't like your Cavalier attitude with 4th round picks. You can maybe have that attitude with a 7th but not a 4th. A 4th round pick is expected to be a contributer not PS material, especially pick #99 its still in the top 100 picks. -
Interesting a Poll on Pro Football weekly concerning the new home of Cam Newton has Buffalo with 430+ votes second place is Caroline with less than 300, it seems that the world outside of Buffalo think that Cam Newton is coming to Buffalo. http://www.profootballweekly.com/2011/03/31/draft-countdown-pick-no-3

Completely unscientific but a trade down with Arizona: http://www.profootballweekly.com/2011/03/31/draft-countdown-pick-no-5 has 0 busts and 2 disappointments with a whole lot of studs A trade down with San Francisco: http://www.profootballweekly.com/2011/03/31/draft-countdown-pick-no-7 is almost all disappointments and busts with the exception of bookends 2001 Andre Carter and 2010 Joe Hadden

I think the plan all along is to play Eric Wood and C, its kind of weird to draft a RG in the 1st round. Less weird to draft a C that high. RG is probably the easiest position on the O-Line to fill. Not related but: http://www.profootballweekly.com/2011/03/31/draft-countdown-pick-no-3 2010: Buccaneers select Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy - slow start but came on strong in the middle. Too early to tell. 2009: Chiefs select LSU DE Tyson Jackson - Heading for Bustville 2008: Falcons select Boston College QB Matt Ryan - Franchise QB 2007: Browns select Wisconsin OT Joe Thomas - Stud 2006: Titans select Texas QB Vince Young - Disappointment Headcase but may get a second shot, either way he has a .700 winning percentage as a starter, he just can't get on the field anymore, and many probably consider a bust for the Titans 2005: Browns select Michigan WR Braylon Edwards -Disappointment Not living up to #3 overall but is a serviceable to better WR when he's not dropping balls. 2004: Cardinals select Pittsburgh WR Larry Fitzgerald - Perspective Futre HoFer. 2003: Texans select Miami (Fla.) WR Andre Johnson - Perspective Futre HoFer 2002: Lions select Oregon QB Joey Harrington - Bust 2001: Browns select Florida DT Gerard Warren - Bust So from 2001-2009 Thats 4 Studs 3 Busts - 2 Disappointment from the #3 overall.

The NFL is 100+ Billion dollar Monopoly protected by Congress and loved by 100s of Millions of people. It ain't going anywhere any time soon. You can't make an omelet without scrambling a few brains.
