  1. +1. Roscoe is a perfect fit Chan's offense. He is the speedy "water bug." He ain't going anywhere, until he inevitably goes on IR. If he plays 16 games (unlikely) he will be right around 800-1200 yards and 4 TDs. Either way he is going to get 1st downs, If 1st downs per catch is a stat, I'm gonna guess that Roscoe's 33 catches last year had a very high 1st down rate.
  2. Do you want Plexico playing LB? Because you know they have the exact same build, right? 6-5 235, as compared to 6-4 240 (yeah right he showed up to Jets camp at 228, because of a "Summer pneumonia" WTF!? How the hell does a 23 year old get Pneumonia in the summer? ) You think he makes the Jets 53 man roster? I hope he does. Can you please get Sanchez to hit his wide open Receivers. I picked up Plexiglass in the 9th round in two money leagues. He was wide open multiple times but Sanchize looked like he was trying to hit the DB. Come on man. Playing with my money, is like playing with my emotions, Jimmy.
  3. I think Jumbalaya is saying that you want him to make the Jets' roster, knowing it will only weaken the Jets.
  4. With 6pm start of the NYJ/NYG game, the NFL network screwed my DVR up so I didn't get most of the first half of the Jags game. Did Morrison play? How did he look?
  5. I believe With the directtv.com you get access to the "vault" which is old games basically you can on demand your game. I don't know if that is still part of the package or is part of the PS3 deal. Atleast the marketing info appears that you get the online piece too. But you're right I want to verify that before committing.
  6. Thats how I justify it, I spend at least $22 a week at the Bills Backers Bar. Its not a complete wash you have to factor in Beer at home and food at home but Its close enough for me to justify. My wife is due on September 10th. So going to the game every Sunday wasn't looking like it would be a viable option for me this year. Next year I may go the Bills Backers route but right now this is perfect timing for me, I'll be signing up day one. You can put it on a different credit card than the card that is associated with your PSN account when you check out. So if you have 0% promo or low percentage CC just put on there then you have your monthly payment plan. I did the NHL package through the NHL.com last year. At it worked great online but sucked donkey balls on the Playstation. To me it looked like that the app was hacked together pretty poorly. (You had to adjust your screen resolution 720i to get a decent picture and it would buffer like a mutha) However I had a Direct TV NFL Package account two years ago and the I thought the online version was very elegant and programmed very well. If the same team makes the app for the Playstation it should be good to go. If it doesn't work though it looks like you still get the online streaming piece so that's what I really want. I have a computer hooked up to the big screen so if all the functionality isn't in he PS3 app, I can just use the one through directv.com.
  7. They're doing Hubbard a favor in that, I don't think he is PS elgible anymore. If you know you're not planning on keeping him on the 54 man roster let him loose now so he has a chance to maybe catch on with another team and their last pre season game.
  8. It'll be in the Playstation store before week 1. That's what they say.
  9. We won a preseason game in OT and our 1s looked pretty good doing it. Now you can take a step back and look at the other preseason games and see from your new point of view that the 1s on defense looked pretty good in every pre season game. Let's take it easy people. The head of the baby might be crowning this season. There's still a long season of labor but something good might be happening.
  10. +1 I would trade the last 10 Buffalo Bills first, first round picks for Cam Newton. Do we have any of them left?
  11. Ha! I learned something about our WR Craig Buster Davis on that link:
  12. +1 Now we'll see the Overdorf conspiracies. I guess they finally figured out who's the next whipping boy.
  13. His scout report says he has small hands and is an undisciplined route runner. His hands are listed as 8 7/8ths. I measured my hands they're 9 1/16ths . I looked up Julio Jones his hands are 9 3/4. http://www.profootballweekly.com/prospects/player/kamar-aiken-81/ http://www.profootballweekly.com/prospects/player/julio-jones-8/ If he makes plays I could care less. I don't know what this means, Just thought it was vaguely interesting
  14. I live in DC, and the ground was moving man. It freaked me out. My car was shaking back and forth. I thought the engine was about to explode.
  15. I agree that he stays close to assignment. There the issue in my opinion, I'm not a DB coach, is he doesn't (ever) appear to identify the ball when its in the air and very rarely makes plays on the ball. Staying close isn't the mark of a great DB, it only takes a tiny window in the NFL to make a completion. Because he is such a great athlete he can run around with the WRs and stay close. He appears to watch the WR and shadow him great but doesn't react to the ball in the air. The PIs he has received in the past are mostly because he wasn't play the ball but playing the man. If he just turned his head to look at the ball, there probably wouldn't be a PI at all. I feel like that is coaching. Perry Fewell would be the one to know if its worth the time and effort. I highly doubt it as well and it probably has ever happened before, 1st round underperforming CB for 1st round injured rookie CB. Prince isn't their #1 CB, he is their #1 draft pick that is done for a couple months. He can't put wait on his broken foot until Week1, Then there is rehab and he already missed so much practice, Week 4 would be optimistic as a return. I think the James Brewer, T, Indiana route is a little more realistic.
  16. Sorry dude, McKelvin continues to look bad this pre-season and looked bad last season. Its not physical, it technique. Either coaching is failing him or he isn't able to be coached. That is a good option for the Giants too.
  17. You have valid points but you're not thinking about this from the Giants point of view. They are down 3 CBs. What options do they have? McKelvin is a talented athlete no one will tell you differently, He struggles with some basics of coverage right now, and its easy for a team to believe that if they get an athlete with their coaches they may be able to get the athlete to play well. McKelvin doesn't turn his head to identify the ball when its in the air. He bites on double moves frequently and depends on his athleticism to make up for bad technique. In theory good coaching can get him to improve these deficiencies. That is why the Giants may consider the move. They get a gifted athlete that needs to be coached up in a position of need. If somehow you can get some coaching through to McDrainBramage you actually could have a great CB. So from the giants point of view, is McKelvin better than the CB scrap heap in a season where you're making a solid run at the Super Bowl? IMO the answer is yes. At what cost is the real question. Brewer and a 4th, or 5th, or 6th doesn't seem too expensive.
  18. McKelvin for Prince Amukamara, We can take the IR spot for 2011 - In the long run this trade works for the Bills (and a complete dream no way the Giants do that) McKelvin - James Brewer T and a 2012 4th. I hate these type of speculation trade threads but the point is, it seems like it could be a good fit and he is clearly not a good fit in Buffalo. The giants are down at least 3 CBs so far and its going to come down to them and the Eagles for the NFC East. They're trying to make a run at it in 2011 and may make a move to keep up pace.
  19. Wow. it's scary when Harvey and I are on the same page.
  20. This is an example of the garbage that is in full bloom on this board: This argument is predicated by the assumption that Ryan Fitzpatrick is not "a dual threat" QB and Tim Tebow is a proven dual threat QB. However in the real world NFL where they both play Ryan Fitzpatrick had 269 yards rushing, the 5th most by a QB. In message board fantasy land Tim Tebow is a great NFL dual threat. This is a douchey, snarky, remark meant to remind real fans that, oh yeah. Ryan Fitzpatrick actually had 6.7 ypc second most to MICHAEL VICK for QBs that have over 200 yards rushing, Vick has 6.8 ypc. This is a clueless penny pincher that thinks, Oh the snarky douche must think that Ryan Fitzoatricks YPC is low because Ryan Fitzpatrick has a red beard and was drafted in the 7th round. Even though the comment is meant to remind people that are supposed to know about Buffalo Bills that Fitzpatrick actually is a real life NFL, dual threat QB. If you think teams don't game plan for the threat of Fitzpatrick breaking off 12 yard chunks when they send big blitzes to our weak tackles; you're not smart.
  21. What was Fitz average yards per carry last year?
  22. That's not entirely true McKelvin was the consensus #1 CB in the draft and expected to be a top 10 pick. He fell to the Bills at #11. I think other teams we worried by McDrainBramages' interviews too much to pick him that high. Just to be clear he absolutely was not considered a reach at all at #11. Two minutes before the draft started McKelvin was expected to be off the board when the Bills picked and Aqib Talib was more realistic to be there at #11. So let's call a bust a bust but not put this in the McCargo class of draft mistakes.
  23. Yes McFumblin is a bust. Next question.
  24. You sir, are a genius. Who has DTV and wants to go half-sies?
  25. Alert us when someone does NOT pick the Bills to finish 4th in the AFC East.
