  1. Yeah but you're using your FIOS internet connection through your PS3. That's why Directv doesn't just say directly in the release, "Screw Directv service, we just flung the door on Sunday ticket for everyone with a PS3." They worded in a way that made people believe they would do some check to see if you could get Directv or not, which what the post above is referring to.
  2. It is the wording of the release. They're not actually checking. Obviously Directv isn't going to say, go ahead any use your awesome FIOS to get Sunday Ticket.
  3. Yeah that gives agents and FA a very bad feeling when signing with a management team. They basically screwed Garard out of 8 Mil and a season without warning, rhyme or reason. Trent sucked so that kind of is excusable, but still not surprising that teams wouldn't be chomping at the bit to sign with the Bills. It doesn't give anyone a good feeling about the Jags trying to win either. Maybe the Jags are trying to head to LA. I think MIami's playbook is probably already simplified with Henne. Garard could be up and running in less than 4 weeks. That's all teams had this year to prepare.
  4. This sucks because Garard will definitely be an upgrade for the fish. The fish are silly if they don't pick him up asap. Obviously they're not going to claim his 8 mil contract but I'm sure he will sign 1 year 2-4 Mil, then be happy to be a FA.
  5. And Smith might be able to play special teams. Depth at TE and LB generally makes up a percentage of Special Teams. Probably why are special teams sucked so bad last year. I think that's also why Ruvell made the roster and not Naaman, Martin has a rep as a good special teamed.
  6. It comes out on the 6th and you need your own payment plan, like a cc with low interest. There is a thread on this already.
  7. He has great reviews as an athletic blocker. Put 25 pounds on him and we maybe we can have Jason Peters part II this time without the holds Update: I guess that wasn't an original thought. Mike Mayock appears to say the same thing when talking about Lee Smith on his 40 run: He had 800 yards receiving and 4 TDs at Marshall. This is an intriguing pickup, its like an extra, late draft pick.
  8. Laurent Robinson also got cut by the chargers. Not that I think the Bills will pick up these guys but they are both talents.
  9. I called that number and dug around and Sony and Directv and they both don't think that you get the ToGo feauture. Also I'm a bit concerned they're hacking this app together as we speek. Which tells in may be the same POS quality as the POS NHL app, which was basically unusable. I saw the 6th date on the forum too. I can't get Directv where I live, Nazi HOA, so I'm not too worried about the wording.
  10. Doubtful that's about last position we need, ant tackes getting cut?
  11. Excellent Break Down! I think I agree with your Bubble: Here is my guess at the 11: Roosevelt, Naaman WR 6-0 20123 2 Buffalo 19 Davis, Craig WR 6-1 20525 5 LSU 86 - San Diego fans say he isn't tough enough to sell girl scout cookies Searcy, Da'Norris DB 5-11 21822 R North Carolina 27 Corto, Jon S 6-1 20626 4 Sacred Heart 35 White, Johnny RB 5-10 20423 R North Carolina 36 Or Hall, I can see Hall too whichever they think will clear through to the PS, so that means Hall Wrotto, Mansfield OL 6-3 32126 4 Georgia Tech 62 Hangartner, Geoff OL 6-5 29729 7 Texas A&M 65 Howard, Cordaro OL 6-4 32224 2 Georgia Tech 69 Rinehart, Chad OL 6-5 32326 4 Northern Iowa 77 Chandler, Scott TE 6-7 26326 3 Iowa 85 Nelson, Shawn TE 6-5 27525 3 Southern Mississippi 90 PS: Nesbitt, Joshua DB 6-1 21523 R Georgia Tech 48 Hall, Bruce RB 5-11 20626 1 Mississippi 37 Jasper, Michael DT 6-4 38324 R Bethel College (Tenn.) 70 Caussin, Mike TE 6-5 24424 1 James Madison 83 Aiken, Kamar WR 6-2 21322 R Central Florida 89 Huggins, Felton WR 6-2 18928 2 Southeastern Louisiana 16 or Wang, Ed OL 6-5 31224 2 Virginia Tech 72 - He may not clear just for PR sake of a team in a city with a large Chinese population
  12. I agree Fitzy would air it our once or twice a game just to keep defenses honest. I don't think Lee Evans was key to the effect it had on defenses though, he can still have Easely, Roscoe, or Jones run a 9 route and force the safety to stay home. My point is the deep threat wasn't much a threat in real terms, and D-Cos knew that in the game plan. Either way I think you're right 6-10 and pick #8-12 is most likely the reality for the 2011 Bills, and that puts you in Matt Barkley\Landry Jones territory, depending on a lot of things. I think Barkley is too small and too weak armed to be effective in Buffalo, but hey, Colt McCoy is actually finding his way on the other end of Lake Erie, in the NFL and there are a lot of similarities between Colt McCoy and Barkley, physically and style of play. We will see, but it seems like 2012 draft will be the year of the QB of the future, unless of course we go 10-6 and make a wildcard (a boy can dream . . .)
  13. You have to be a detective to find this out. Sony has more "customer Service" departments than Thurman Thomas has tweets. After making some calls this morning this is supposedly the department that can hook you up with the details: Sony 800.345.7669 They don't open until 8am PST, and my morning is going to be crazy and I don't have time. If someone else wants to give them a ring and let me know what happens, that'd be appreciated.
  14. It's not rumors, it was announcement by Sony and directv. If you haven't seen a single thing about it, it's because you didn't look.
  15. I heatd it too I wish he said Fitzgibbons.
  16. Has only one signed up for this. I called Directtv and they said you have to call Sony, Sony doesn't appear to know what football is, when you call them. You think for $400 they'd kiss your ass a little while they take your money. I hope this isn't just vapor ware.
  17. This is more fan logic than the "#2" nonsense. Lee didn't take the top off of defenses because there was no threat of the deep ball. Teams can look at tape and realize that Fitzy doesn't throw the long ball. It's just groupthink, fallacy. Lee Evans was a square peg in a round whole. The "double teams" and deep safety talk will disappear by week 4. And you can replace straight line speed. There are literally dozens of super fast WR in this league. Look at the Raiders they have 5 WRs that could probably win the bronze in an olympic relay event but can't catch a cold. On Sunday there will be many cuts and many of the people will have straight line speed. Its proven to be one of the least important qualities for a WR. Look at Jerry Rice, Look at Terrell Owens, look at Marvin Harrison, look at Steve Largent, look at Art Monk, look at Andre Reed, look at Chris Carter . . .
  18. I'm pretty sure Pat Moran is not only an idiot but he can't do math either. If I cared enough about this I would show you that (SJ13 + {Spiller or FJ} + Fitzy + Karl Malone's bastard son) X 2 > than 58/7 but again I don't really care.
  19. Agreed also some should probably mention that the article is erroneous (shocker! and latently raciest, but lets not go there) http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6914510/terrelle-pryor-wonderlic-score-better-7-says-pittsburgh-steelers-gm
  20. Technically he was the best WR only 3 out of the 7 years he was on the Bills, and the last time that was true was 3 seasons ago 2006, 2007, 2008.
  21. Name 1 decent QB and 1 decent WR that struggle because there isn't another decent WR? Who is the "#2" with Andre Johnson? Who is the "#2" with Calvin Johnson? Who is the "#2" with Stevie Johnson? Who cares? The "no other WR" argument is just foolish. Go ahead and single Easely, Nelson, or Jones we'd love that. Fitzy has no conscience and no preference, if someone is open they will get the ball.
  22. If Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas had Twitter in the 90s . . .
  23. Like usual, you just make stuff up. A perfect fit does not mean integral.
  24. Because the most important position in determining wins and losses for every NFL team is their slot receiver. Slot receivers aren't measured by 1st down receptions and yards they're measured by Super Bowl wins.
  25. Nice work! I think the term is: his swag is on overload. (Like a setting off, on, overload) I like the effort in using modern urban vernacular.
