After we beat the Patriots on Sunday
1B4IDie replied to Lv-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fans rushing the field and jumping on goal posts. Is also a likely cover photo. Seriously if the Bills win, people are going to go Berserk. It may even get embarrassing, like "its Week3 and they're tearing down goal posts?" -
Denarius Moore isn't just some bum. He has been talked about as this years Mike Williams (tbb) for the last six weeks. He took advantage of his opportunity and is likely to keep performing. Not to say that the Pats bench won't step up, just saying that the pats bench at secondary is banged up too. Should be interesting.

Wow, Seahawks OLB Aaron Curry demoted to
1B4IDie replied to JStranger76's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Many, being the infallible (to many on this board) Mike Mayock. If Maybin had that stat line that Curry has, we'd all be content with Maybin. Sounds like he needs a fresh start that doesn't come with the expectations of the #4 overall pick (This is why you take a LB that high, its just stoopid) Get'er done Buddy. -
Albany Newspaper Trashes Bills Nation
1B4IDie replied to Albany Bills Backer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The editor should of said, "Listen toots, red wine and PMS don't mix. Why don't you go back to the chalk board with this one. Buffalo Bills' fans buy papers too, ya see." I blame the editor more than the buffoon author. -
All of the Gatriots secondary is banged up except Devin McCoutry. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/135427-all-of-new-englands-secondary-is-banged-up/page__pid__2257095#entry2257095

I'd like that draft, but It'll be hard getting Brandon Jenkins at 32! Hey-ooo!

Except for Devin McCourty Should be a shout at Rich Stadium The Ralph. http://www.nfl.com/teams/newenglandpatriots/depthchart?team=NE

One thing remains a constant with this team

Ralph is Cheap. -
I love the guy but, let's start slobbing knob, after a Patriots victory. And then lets start with Warner/Brady comparisons after a Super Bowl ring or 3.
-
I'm A-OK with him being someone else's 5th Receiver/ Punt returner. As long as it's not the Pats. That would kill if he took over the Welker role and stayed healthy.
-
Fine 206 yards a game his senior year, when he was better than Brady.
-
Exactly 170 passing yards a game on average.
-
So you're saying an option pass is the same as Tom Brady in the pocket hitting Wes Welker. Well you're entitled to your opinion. Either way Tim Tebow is the best 3rd string QB in the NFL. I'll agree with that. And yes the talent in Florida is off the chart, so It was hard for Nelson to shine.
-
I'm still getting a feel, for the priority for a 3-4 DE. I'd still put OLB at P3 or P2. I don't care if Merriman is healthy he is an injury risk and you can never have too many rushers in a 3-4, on passing downs you have the blitz from all over.
-
I watched a ton too. How can what I wrote be interrupted as a hate? When you get 150 yards ""Passing" a game when pitching it to Percy Harvin. Those "300" yard games are not traditional passing yards. Just saying that offense revolved around rushing an option plays. It didn't allow WRs to shine. There is no have there. If Nelson was on Oklohoma with Sam Bradford. He's probably be a 2-4th round pick when entering the draft.
-
Thats just in 2011. He looked like a stud in 2010 too. He played on the Tebow Florida team. He was highly recruited (Obviously if he was a WR at Florida) coming out of college but Tebow is a WR killer. I think if he played on a college spread offense he would have shined and been higher regarded coming into the NFL draft. I think this guy is a diamond in the rough.
-
I've felt that Nelson has earned more PT. Anyway he gets on the field, I don't care, the guy Makes things happen.

Baseless? Have you only followed the Bills sine 9/11/11? I know because the contracts aren't done. They had the complete month of August to do this. Every other NFL team can seem to extend their key players. The Bills' FO needs 17 weeks of regular season play to screw it up, every time, and watch their key players walk. They do this all the time, wait until the season to negotiate contract extensions. The time to sign your priority Free Agents is before the regular season not during it. SJ13 is 15 weeks away from hitting the open market that will pay him Brandon Lloyd with the Redskins, or Peerless Price with Falcons money. What motivation does he have to take Buffalo's typical low ball offers? If the Bills FO showed respect and commitment and extended him last year or made it a post lockout priority he may have been willing to take a pay cut. Sending low ball offers, weeks away from Free Agency is basically saying to Stevie, "Have fun back in San Fran." I'll believe different when I see it. Talk about baseless, where do you get these numbers from? "There has been an update in the negotiations this is what RichmondRob thinks is fair." What are these numbers based on? How much pro athletes "should" make compared to teacher salaries? If you double all that money, you'll be closer to what they' are worth in FA. Except for maybe Freddy, the 30+ RB is a tough market in Free Agency but the Bills need to back rev him.
-
Stevie is getting about 400k this year. Needless to say the Bills FO is asleep at the wheel. They need to sign these guys ASAP. Fitzy and SJ13 will be Unrestricted FAs at the end of the season.
-
We're thin at WR? That's news to me. We're actually stacked at WR and now Roosevelt is back on the 53.
-
This is great news, Roosevelt was put on the 53 man roster. No offense to Roscoe but, he is too small for the NFL it's just a fact. Now Ruvell Martin can stay on special teams an Roosevelt's velcro hands can be put in action when 5 wide.
-
-1 I like Nelson as the starter in the sLot. We can spread out Roscoe when he gets back and CJ in situations. Nelson clearly needs to be on the field more. I don't care where CJ or Roscoe were drafted. We need the best man for the job and that is Nelson.

RUVELL MARTIN MUST GO
1B4IDie replied to BillsCelticsAngelsBama's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was seriously saying the same. Those drops were very visible and I know Roosevelt would have made those grabs. Seriously get rid of this dude and get Aiken or Roosevelt out there. -
I would bet a trifecta on Over, Bills +8.5 and patriots win :-( That's some serious cash.

"Bills Fear Fitzpatrick's Leverage Will Only Increase"
1B4IDie replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Incorrect. You use your ability at evaluating talent and project that a player through their practice habits, meeting habits, study habits, and on the field performance is going to be a player you want to keep. 2+!!!!! seasons is way more than enough time to make that determination. So now we are in 2+ season and they didn't spend August hammering out a deal. There is no other way to interpret this than to say that the Bills FO is hoping that Fitz does not play well. If they thought he would put up the performances he has accomplished through the first 2 weeks they would have rushed to sign him at a lower price in August, by waiting the FO is saying in no uncertain terms. "We're OK if you leave as a FA." Good teams do not let key players become FA, or at least try very hard not to let that happen. The Bills FO keeps trying to get deals. Same thing goes for Stevie Johnson. A smart front office had 4 years to evaluate this player. He practices and studies hard and performs well on the field. You FIRST extend Stevie Johnson, then you trade Lee Evans. This gives you the advantage of signing Stevie for a lower price where he is the "#2" option. Do you think Stevie, making about $400K this year, doesn't want to test the FA market. If the Bills don't step up ASAP and make commitments to these players, you are fooling yourself if you think they're going to win resigning them when they are Unrestricted FAs.
