  1. I definietly like Kirkpatrick a lot. You definietly take him over Upshaw all day. But not over Adams or maybe RG3. If Adams or RG3 are gone as much as it pains me to say. I wouldn't hat the Kirkpatrick pick. Aaron Williams and Kirkpatrick at the CB gives the chance of Maybinesque coverage sacks. However this board would explode on Buddy nix and Bills' fans everywhere would lose it.
  2. There is such a thing as reaching. Read the whole post especially the part that explains what you cant understand.
  3. UPSHAW was the target when it looked like we were drafting in the late teens or early 20s. UPSHAW IS a huge reach at #9. You cant take him over Adams, or RGIII, or almost anyone else on that list.
  4. Why not use the 1st rounder on a Blue chipper like, Mike Adams from Ohio State? Instead of recycle more trash at LT?
  5. The only reason Mike Adams is not a top 5 pick is because of the suspension. The Bills haven't had a real LT in a long long long long time. With a healthy Wood, Levitre, Urbik at RG, and Mike Adams at LT you know have 4 above average members of the O-Line. 3 top 40 picks invested in the O-Line, and Mike Adams has every indication to be a perennial pro Bowler, (along with Levitre {Hopefully that game at C doesn't hurt him so bad but Levitre should be in the Pro Bowl this year. He was a stud stalwart in every other game.}) If Mike Adams is there you have to take him. You can't even if second guess it or discuss it. It has to be CJ Spiller style time on the clock. Although if RG3 is there . . .
  6. The Dallas Cowgirls. 2 reasons XXVII and XXVIII.
  7. Many had Blackmon rated higher than Julio Jones in the 2011 draft. I believe he will be a good receiver in the NFL. He does play bigger than 6'1' in college. I think he matches up very similiarly to Michael Crabtree, who was a dominant college WR in his day. Crabtree isn't that dominate #1 WR in the NFL because in the NFL you need to have real size. I wouldn't take Michael Crabtree or Justin Blackmon in the first round in the 2012 draft if I were drafting for the Bills, the best player availble with a heavy priority to a an OLB would be my preference in the 1st round.
  8. This is Comedy. I'm staying the hell away from this turd of a thread.    Did I say that outloud?
  9. Seriously guys, It was like in the high 50s all game, and I think it hit 60, that means the field temperature was in the 60s. What the hell did McKelvin have a hand warmer on for? Not to mention he is a CB!!! Someone explain this to me!!!
  10. It wasn't David Nelson it was Shawne Nelson and yes it was similar. I've seen forward progress called for less. However Chandler has to know that he has 5 dudes on him, its time to get down. Either way that play was killer and the "hold" on Corey was a killer, however we got a gift touchdown, as Spiller recovered the TD out of bounds. It didn't even look close, imo.
  11. It is an insult, until they prove otherwise. It's been 11 years and counting . . .
  12. I thought we were going to talk about how McKelvin had on a hand warmer on Sunday? That may have weighed him down on his patented punt catching dance. What was that about?
  13. I think truer words have been spoken. The little contract that Fitz has with no real guarenteed money will have little deterrent from drafting a QB. Not to mention that 2012 will be the cheapest 1st round QB in a very long time and for the near future don't think the Bills wont take that into consideration.
  14. Good news is that 2012 is shapping up to be a nice draft class All around. Cousins in the 2nd or 3rd could be a steal too. I liked what I saw from Landey Jones in 2010. I got a kid now and college football has been sacrificed. So I haven't seen him fall apart this year. If he can play 2010 in the NFL. A team will be very very happy.
  15. Come on people, this was gold! Was I just to late too the party?
  16. It would have been better if LeBron had a teammate throw him a pass after the celebration and he intentionally dropped it, then asked god Why. Plax brought a gun into a nightclub then shot himself. Why shouldn't he be mocked? Stevie made fun of him on the football field, why is he the devil? Plax could have killed someone with his gun, Stevie's fingers are harmless (especially when it comes to catching game winning TDs. )
  17. That'd be Hightower.
  18. No one is protecting the Buffalo Bills organization but I'm glad you're on watch just in case soemone might have the urge. It is really simple by your own count. 35/53 players are new and yes a few starters were hold overs. You're making a less than compelling argument that the roster wasn't completely overhauled even though there are less than 20 players on the team.
  19. My point is the roster was completely gutted since Nix has been in Buffalo which you yourself fact checked. Whatever rant about who is to blame/congratulate for the turnover is your own one sided argument with yourself. I could care less about assigning blame I just want to win.
  20. So let me get this straight Nix is incompetent for keeping the best players from the previous regime? Nix was responsible for the Maybin pick as much any other Bill executive if not more. What is your point?
  21. There are 8 players on the roster from before Buddy Nix joined the Bills. It's hard to argue its not a complete gutting of the roster.
  22. Good point about the defense being so poor that it put the offense in a position that caused an increase chance of injury. The point isn't that we've had a lot of injuries, the point is the injuries were to very key players. If Reihnhert, Spiller, Harriston, Troop, and Scott were the ones on IR wouldn't be in the same FUBAR position. btw I think its more like a 3 year plan and what is your alternative strategy?
  23. No depth at all in an already weakish O-line caused me to shoot the lynchpin to the top of the chart. This is out of the 54 man roster. I can see the argument to flip Freddy with Fitzy. Everyone feel free to make your own top 10 list and I,d be surprised if you don't have half of the list on IR.
  24. 1. ERIC Wood 2. FRED JACKSON 3. LEVITRE 4. RYAN FITZPATRICK 5. KYLE WILLIAMS 6. MARCELL DAREUS 7. GEORGE WILSON 8. BELL 9. MERRIMAN 10. LINDELL
  25. We need an OLB as a top priority. Plus this guy is a headcase I watched him single handely lose a game against Stanford. I'm pretty sure I'd stay away. I'd much rather have Courtney Upshaw. UPSHAW IS WHAT Dr Dareus ordered. It would be a dream come true.
