Justin Rodgers returns kicks like a man that has two ears and uses them. I Guarantee that Spiller, McDrainBramage, and Brad Smith are coached to catch the ball and run forward. DO NOT DANCE. Run straight and fast to the direction of the kick return blocking. Justin did a great job. Nothing fancy. He Caught the Ball, secured the ball, and ran straight and fast toward his blocking. If any of our other Kick Dancers could be coached they could do just as well. I hope Rodgers continues to keep it simple and continues to be the Kick Returner.

Emerging Sub Plot in Draft could effect Bills ...
1B4IDie replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's much more realistic than the Rams passing on taking Andrew Luck. The Rams can't renegotiate the contract because it shows they don't have faith in Bradford and need Bradford to have the full support of the organization if he is going to stay in St. Louis. But if the Rams trade Bradford the new team can renegotiate the contract. It works for Bradford's camp because generally in a renegotiation you get a signing bonus, which can give him more upfront money. A 2nd for Bradford is pretty cheap, I'm surprised you would think that is steep in your opinion. A 2nd for Bradford is very realistic. Most likely the Rams wouldn't let him go that cheap. Now the real reality conflict is around the Market. What team would make this trade? It would have to be a team that feels that have near term potential, no QB. and are willing to spend. So it's really a limited market; Seattle, maybe Kansas City, Depending on JAX, maybe Miami The Browns got a whole bunch of extra picks. Redskins, might make a move like that. Out of all the scenarios presented. I think if the Rams get the #1 overall; trading Bradford to the Browns for a 1st and the Browns renegotiating the Bradford contract, and the Rams take Luck is a reality based fantasy possibility. -

Someone that thinks he is, like you. A 2nd is GD deal for a franchise QB. Look at what the Bungals got for that turd Palmer from the Raiders. -

Rams would trafe Bradford for a second to get rid of the contract and upgrade at QB. Clearly Bradford isn't a franchise QB if they're back at the top of the draft again. -
We stink, but we could be 8-5 right now and stink

Ee're also 3 plays aways from 2-11. -
To say Tim Tebow and Cam Newton have similiar styles of play is to say "I have never actually watched Cam Newton play a game of football but I heard he ran for a touchdown so he must be the same as Tim Tebow." And if you read the original comment clearly it was not aimed at you, there are other people in the world, ya know?

Thanks. Its pretty depressing right now. I'm rooting for 19-0 for the Pack. good luck.
-
Theyre below 50 feet of crap but it has little to do with money. the Bills have never been in the bottom of spending or really in the top 10 lowest spenders. They spend good money, just on crap players.
-
Wow, that's pretty astute. If Reid stays and makes his former O-line coach\D-Co the scapegoat Bringing Spags would make sense and something he would probably be into.
-
Its a bit of a chicken and an egg though. With Spags as the D-Co. a Free Agent Pass Rusher would think about Buffalo because of that system. Without Spags as the D-Co, who the hell would want to play for George Edwards, I mean we were lucky to get an insane guy coming off an injury that wears vampire teeth. Spags at least can identify what a pash rusher looks like. I don't think we have anyone on the D-Co side that can do that. Still I doubt he comes over to the Bills but everyone would love it.

Yeah I disagree with Kyle Williams, I think he can play NT and DE in our 3-4 but isn't prototypical. (He's really not prototypical anything but he keeps sup rising everyone) But you hit the only real loss if we change from a 3-4 back to a 4-3. What to do with Sheppard? All things consider the defensive staff right in 2011 is better suited for a 4-3. Kelsay is actually pretty good with his hand on the ground coming off the edge in a 4-3 and does it pretty often, because in the year 2011 you have to run a lot of 4 man fronts in Nickel and dime. We need OLB in both systems, so making the switch before the 2012 draft would really only mean Sheppard got lost in the shuffle. Not that big of deal.
-
I don't think anyone would mind if they fired George Edwards and made my 90 year old Grand Aunt Doris defensive coordinator at this point in time. So yeah, Spags would be amazing upgrade over my Grand Aunt Doris. Now in reality do you think this really happen, the Spags part?
-
So then you're not familliar with Jeff George AND not familiar with Andrew Luck.) That Answers that. Anyone that actually watched Cam Newton play and didn't look at his skin Color new he would make it in the NFL. I am well documented as a Cam supporter pre 2011 draft.
-
You're either not familiar with Jeff George or you're not familiar with Andrew Luck. yeah because all the players are lined up in a pre determined universally accepted BPA order and you just take the next person based on their Madden score. There's no discussion and no variance of BPA across teams or individuals.

Its a bit of a Chicken and Egg argument. I'm sure Fitz and Chan would like an extra second or two.
-
I'll give you Clady, even though he had some ups and downs as he fought through injuries. But that shows you how rare you have an opportunity to draft a stud L T Who will be the QB in 2018, I don't know. But if you draft Adams he'll most likey won't have to worry about his blindside.
-
I agree that OLB and pass rush is the top priority. However when have the Bills had a top LT prospect on the board when they picked? I can't think of a time. You can say "Blind Side" but if you pay attention to his carreer he hasn't been that homerun LT pick. Getting a bluechipper LT Trumps all "needs" that is always BPA only trumped by a franchise QB.

With Bills Done: Will You Root for Another Team?
1B4IDie replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I's like to see the Pack get a perfect season, so that chum in So. Fl. won't be the only perfect team. -
Why leave off Kalil and Adams?
-
Why so serious 100% agrees with this. Kelsay actually looks good with his hand on the ground. only problem is the Bulks invested in Sheppard. I don't think he is a 3-4 Olb The nfl requires lots of 4 man fronts. Nicole and dime. And our 4 man spine plays pretty well. Our Cbs are a disaster. But I think Williams looks good.
-
Any QB drafted is going to sit behind Fitzin 2012 The Buffalo Bills have never in the Super Bowl era taken a QB with their first, first round pick; so you don't have to worry much.
-
A "bluechip" left tackle is not "offensives line" It's one of the most important positions on the field.
