  1. I like Weeden a lot, I think if he were 22 he'd be a hands down Top5 pick. I don't like him for Buffalo because there is 0 chance he starts for Buffalo (unless Fitz got hurt) until he is 30. I like him for a team like the Redskins or Browns that would play him on Week1. Which ever one of those teams misses out on RGIII, i expect to trade down (like the both did last year) and land Weeden in the latter teens. T-Master, Much better than the Kellen "Under the Must be "this" tall to be an NFL QB" Moore thread. What is the difference between OSU's offense and Chan's spread offense?
  2. Or did he help take the 4th best team in 2009 and turn into the 6th best team in 2011? The Bengals needed a caretaker QB to walk in and play in 2011. They drafted a caretaker QB that can walk in play in 2011. The Bengals success had little to do with Dalton. You put Fitzy back on the Bengals and you probably have the same result. The Ceiling on Dalton is very low. He will never be a Top10 QB in the NFL. Not a great pick for the Bills in any hindsight scenario as it seems you agree.
  3. Who then? Upshaw? Coples? Both of them are not top talent, freak of nature Pass rushers that you would want to take with the #10 overall pick. Upshaw will be a great backer, but I don't see him as a QB slaying pass rushing specialist.
  4. He is on the list to illustrate where he fit in, imo.
  5. I agree here. Shepp is a team leader, Captain type maybe thats why. But yeah I wouldn't have taken Shepp. I like the kid but wouldn't have been my pick. There is a whole list there I would have preferred. (and was vocal leading up to the draft on this board) I actually liked Mason Foster over Shepp if you were going to go ILB. There is a whole list at #3 I would have have had over Shepp, then some of them fell to the 4th round over Searcy. Justin Houston Sam Acho Ryan Mallett John Moffitt Mason Foster Martez Wilson Leonard Hankerson Kelvin Sheppard K. J. Wright Sam Acho The Bills still had a good draft but you can almost build a whole team from the 3rd and 4th round of the 2011 draft. It was a really deep draft. The first round of 2012 isn't that great outside of Luck, RGIII, Claribrone, Kalil its like a bunch of late first round talent after that .
  6. I find the Mario Williams talk strange. Mario Williams wasn't a fan of playing 3-4 this year. He is going to want to go to a team where he can be a 4-3 DE for 4 downs. So unless Wannstadt comes out at says definitively we are moving to a base 4-3 defense don't expect Mario Williams anywhere near Buffalo. Not even in wet dreams. Buddy Nix given his history in San Diego will not bring a WR under 6'2" to Buffalo so you might as well just lose the Joe Adams hope in January. Nah gonna happen. But if you were a GM on a different team than the Buffalo Bills with different strategies those are all 4 good players that is for sure.
  7. Jumbalaya goes on to say that it wasn't in his post. He is just saying "Oh another DB at pick #34" was the reaction of many fans. I had that reaction as well even though I knew Williams was a steal. I personally wanted Akeem Ayers or Brooks Reed at #34 and would have made that pick even if Williams dropped if I were drafting for the Bills. FYI. Saying the Bills missed out on Dalton is 1.) a Negative post (negativity breads negativity) and 2.) Bashes the Bills FO (Expect to get bashed in return. 3.) Not to mention strangely fixated on clearly an average QB my guess is Hsp08 you are a ginger as well. So you identify with the plight of Andrew Dalton, red head.
  8. I'm not saying age will effect his draft status. I am saying age is effecting his draft status. I clearly said he would be a Top5 pick if you through his age out. I am not saying that he is a top 5 pick in 2012. I am saying that a team that needs a QB today, like Washington Redskins pull the trigger, or trade back and pull the trigger later in the 1st (like they did last year) If the Redskins can't use their extra picks to get RGIII or Luck they may trade back get some extra picks and take Weeden. I am saying that his ceiling is very high, he looks plug and play ready for the NFL and if drafted by the team where he starts in 2012 he could be a great pick. I am going on record and saying that Weeden will be a 1st round pick, possibly a top 20 pick. I am going on record that I do not want the Buffalo Bills to draft Weeden we do not need a plug and play starter in 2012.

  10. Now Brooks Reed is more on the shoulda coulda woulda list than Dalton. I liked Reed too, and it looks even more like a shoulda coulda woulda because the 2011 draft was loaded with pass rushers but the 2012 draft is pretty weak on pass rushers and loaded with corners. I still think Aaron Williams was a good pick because of the drop he was rated a late first round pick by most everyone, Going to Baltimore at #27. He has shown some flashes of excellence if he can stay healthy he could have much more of an impact than Dalton holding a clipboard.
  11. Andy Dalton on the Bills wears a headset and holds a clipboard and sticks out on the side lines like a red headed step child. Why would you want to waste roster space on a caretaker QB with a ceiling of Trent Dilfer and the basement of Trent Edwards? Andrew Dalton is not on the shoulda, coulda woulda list. Now will someone get that red head to the barber shop and have some black stripes dyed into his head in the same design as the Bengals helmet. Please Please Please have this happen.
  12. THE problem is this team needs a CB in a major way. THIS year's draft is weak when it comes to top tier pass rushers. Last year in the 3rd and 4th rounds there were arguably better than some 2012 first round picks like Dontay Moch and Sam Acho (whose brother is. Available and we should draft.) If Blackmon, Reid, Kalil are gone. Its going to be Dre Kirkpatrick So just understand that now in January. The Bills will have two good corners with a healthy Kirkpatrick and Williams and not much else at CB. ALSHON JEFFREY could be an option there too but its shaping up that DB is a realistic possibility and #10. the odds are pretty short that this will happen.
  13. Weeden isn't Weinke, Hutchinson or Beck. The only people that seemed concerned about his age are fans. If he were 22 he is a top 5 pick. Being 28 at the QB position isn't going to drop to the 4th. Weinke, Hutchinson or Beck were never Top 5 picks if you take away their age.
  14. Weeden is going top 20. and just like you said No Way Jeffrey slips to #20 let alone #40. Boise State’s Kellen Moore, - Doesn't belong in the NFL San Diego State’s Ryan Lindley, - Doesn't belong in the NFL Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins, - I like him in college a lot, Can be a backup development QB, and then . . . maybe Wisconsin’s Russell Wilson, - I like him in college a lot, Can be a backup development QB, and then . . . probably not Arizona’s Nick Foles - I like him in college a lot, Can be a backup development QB, and then . . . He has a real chance Oklahoma State’s Brandon Weeden. Will be a Top 20 pick and may even be starting for the Dolphins or Redskins in September 2012.
  15. Thanks for putting Weeden on there. Not that I want him in particular. Just saying he is going Top 20 and the guy looks plug-in and play for a team that needs a starter in 2012. He may even go Top 10 to Miami or Washington. Also Why is Alshon Jeffrey not on the list? There is 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance Alshon Jeffrey is not a first round pick. Y'alls need to adjust that. I guess you will after the combine. Odds are 2:1 that that is the pick in April at #10. Also Why do you have Mike Adams as a RT? Everywhere I else I see him as a prototypical LT with fast feet and very athletic. Is it because you think KC will start him as RT then move him to LT. (which I really doubt, but just trying to figure that out.)
  16. Listen to the Nix Presser! Bucky was drilling these questions during the presser and Nix was candid. He said, "Yes it is harder to recruit herer than say San Diego, . . . but when people get here they are impressed and don't want to go." He also said, to summarize, winning will cure this. If we build a winner through the draft, there won't be a problem recruiting people that want to win. Seriously very impressed with how open and honest Nix was, on a bunch of touchy subjects. Not a lot of Spin, just straight to the point answers. I agree. Why would a Free Agent want to go to Buffalo in 2010? It doesn't matter if Buffalo were San Diego. The team was a mess and a loser. When the team starts winning and has a strong FO that looks like they will continue to put their team in a place to win and pay their players than FA will come no problem. And the people that don't want to come to a proven winner because of the weather are the people that you probably don't want on your team in the first place.
  17. Great Presser. That was super candid. Looks like #10 will be: Alshon Jeffrey Michael Floyd Dre Kirkpatrick Maybe Jonathan Martin (Assuming Claiborne & Blackmon are gone by #10)
  18. Yeah but did he dislocate the guy's leg from the hip after that boneheaded shovel pass interception. Maybe he can play OLB that was a sick tackle. But yeah he does suck at life and Lee should have been in on the next series.
  19. 1.) Let's see how Much Praise he gets after running into the Green Bay Packer offense. 2.) I liked Fewell as an interim HC. 3.) I prefer Dick "Mauron"
  20. I stand corrected. Kellen Moore is once in a lifetime talent, draft him!
  21. I'm a dumbass? He won by his TEAM scoring more points than the other team. You don't know that? It's not like most wins in College Football is a record that stands the test of time. It gets approached and eclipsed on a regular basis. Moore is only going to hold the record for a few weeks. As Landry Jones is going to break that record before December 2012.
  22. lol. He still plays crap-hole teams on a regular basis. If you put Gaine Blabbert on Boise State, he has the same amount of wins, maybe more. Beating crappy teams doesn't make Kellen Moore special.
  23. Great Kellen Moore won a crap tons of games in the MOUNTAIN WEST conference with such juggernauts as Wyoming, San Diego State, Air Force, Colorado State, UNLV, and New Mexico. If he is such a winner, let me ask you a question, When was the last time he won his Amazingly difficult conference? In the NFL the first key to success is winning your division. Moore can't even win the Moutain West. Great Drew Brees is 6'0" and breaks passing records. Kellen Moore is 5'11" and not Drew Brees. T Master, you love Kellen Moore, that is great for you. Kellen Moore has 0.00000000000000000001% chance of being successful in the NFL. I think the Bills need not waste a draft picks on fan favorite midgets. Good news there is 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance the Bills draft Moore.
  24. I wasn't concerned about Mallet's height and he looked great in preseason. OSWEILER seems more solid than lurch. I'm sure people will be concerned. I'd be more concerned with what's between his ears than how his high his ears are off the ground.
  25. Are you a one of the geniuses at One Bills drive?
