Look into Alshon Jeffery and MICHAEL Floyd. I like Sanu alot though. If he falls to #42 its a no brainer.

There is no excuse. If you vote for Brady for you are not a Bills fan. These people are not Bills' fans: bizell , DrW , Nick Heightz , Matthews' Bag (not surprised) , FiveStar , LabattBlue , mob16151 (not surprised) , Johnny Hammersticks (surprised) , Gibran Chandan , Yard Monkey

Should the Bills make a play for QB Flynn?
1B4IDie replied to Buffbills1fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is little doubt by anyone that the Pack are going to whatever they can including franchise him to get something out of the deal. Its a foregone conclussion with almost no arguements that make sense why the Pack would just let him walk away, given the market that is forming for him. -
Dimes to doughnuts Lloyd follows McDaniels to the Pats. A veteran retread is exactly what the Pats like at WR and the Pats will be looking to add a WR in 2012.

They can trade him for a 7th and theyre off the hook. I don't think that will be a problem. And the new team isnt on the hook for the franchise amount when they work out a mutiyear deal. You realize the Pats got two 4ths for Cassel and threw in a former great LB. I don't think the pack will have a problem finding a trading partner. -

Did post before reading the trade part? FLYNN will cost $0 dollars if you franchise and trade. -
I'm cautiously optimistic. The 2009 injury was a freak accident. Anyones leg would have shattered standing where Wood was standing. The 2011 was more worrisome. Maybe he can put it behind him. Only time will tell.

He is not a Free Agent until March. I don't think the Pack are stupid enough to just let him walk and get nothing. THEY can franchise him then trade him and let the new team figure our the contract a la Cassel in the NE-KC trade. -

I saw this before. I think the going rate is a 1st and a 4th. The 1st ends up being Fred Taylor I cant remember who the 4th is? -
Who needs the hype? The class is what the class is. And its no where near 2011'sclass of QBs

Aaron Williams Drafted then Andy Dalton

Plus Gronk grew up in Buffalo. Although I actually wanted Hernandez in the 3rd over Carrington And definitely over Easely !!! -
Jeff did this to spare all of us pain. A guy named "Fisher" could never be the coach of the Dolphins; just too many puns. Ears would be bleeding across this great country of ours. Jeff Fisher is a hero for choosing the Lambs.

Which is what that article is "saying nothing at all . . .", which I believe I summarized accurately in the 1st post on this thread. [/thread]

what pick would you despise at number 1?
1B4IDie replied to Trader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The point of this thread and the question on the table was, "who specifically would you pick to address the pass rusher issue at the #10 pick, specifically who." So thanks for your insight that the Bills have no pass rusher, everyone knows that. How specifically can we resolve this. Besides "Just draft the best pass rusher". Well guess what in 2012 draft. I don't know if there is any as in 1 "best pass rusher" So if you can't draft the "best pass rusher" at #10 what do you do? Take the best overall LB, like Upshaw. That probably won't be a 15 sack guy, but is more like a 6.5 sack guy but a great overall backer. Or do you get a "best pass rusher" later in the draft like Emmanuel Acho that could be there in 3rd or 4th round. Probably 3rd since he is higher regarded than his Brother Sam that went in the 4th in 2011. I loves Sam Acho and he had 6 sacks through last part of the season. Emmanual could be a great situational pass rusher that could give you double digit sacks if used probably. So thats why I said "captain obvious" We know the pass rush sucks, it just looks like there may not be a fix to that problem at the #10 overall pick in the 2012 draft. So if that is the case what do you do? If you think that isn't the case than WHO specifically would you take at #10 overall to fix the pass rushing problem? -

Thanks Captain Obvious. -
WE KNEW that the 2011 crop of QBs was much better top to middle than the 2012 crop of QBs will be; after Luck.

Yeah Claiborne is likely gone before 10 which means 6'2" KIRKPATRICK should be there. I personally would take Upshaw or Reif or Mike Adams. But I'm telling you right now it might end up being Kirkpatrick. you don't find corners like that in the 2nd round or when trading back. -
Yes but we knew that last year, remember?

Predictive Criteria for QBs from 2011 Draft
1B4IDie replied to ajzepp's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For the 1,000th time the 26-27-60 rule is not meant to be applied to all QBs all the time. Its meant to help decide between Top 10 QBs. so you can apply the rule to Luck and RGIII to determine who would be better for the colts to draft #1 overall. Not to compare 7th rounder Kellen Moore to 2nd rounder Ryan Tannehill. -
I'd like to see a breakdown of Interceptions thrown and the point differential at the time of the interception. I can think of about 5 that were thrown when the Bills were already blown out and down by 20+ points in the late 3rd and 4th. So yeah Fitz is still trying to come back. I don't if that is the same as a Jay Cutler type of Interception Lead where the guy just makes poor decisions Qtr 1-4 no matter what the score.

Um Buddy nix never said the talent level at CB is above average, that I know of. Do you have a link? What I heard Nix actually say is "You can never have enough corners." So looking at the list who are those capable corners? What is the 2012 Depth chart going to look at? I think Buddy and everyone with a set of eyes agrees there is a need at CB. -
So you take one prong away at the whole tent comes down? ppppppllllllllllttttttt This is horse crap at best.

I think Greenmohawk was a big Claussen guy and a ND homer if I remember correctly. I may be wrong though. During the (silly) Claussen is the most "NFL ready" QB discussions. However Greenmohawk is not far off. I like MIchael Floyd a lot. I was hoping he would go to the Supplemental draft and the Bills spend a 3rd or 4th on him after the DUI. Dude is a stud and would look great opposite Stevie Johnson. Or what would happen is Stevie Johnson would be opposite Michael Floyd. -
I B . Weeden Through QB's In the Draft
1B4IDie replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sorry I didn't realize you were quoting the article. You posted like you were breaking down the OSU's offense. Yes in Seattle's Seagulls offense there will be more of a learning curve than in Buffalo. Either way Weeden, is good size, strong arm, and makes great decisions, especially in the Money Zone (Purple Zone) what ever you want to call being inside the 35 in scoring position. That translates very well to the NFL. Now can he do it with much more pressure than he saw at OSU. I think he can. I think an NFL team will think he can too. -

Upshaw is the safest pick, and I'd be A-OK if the Bills took Upshaw. The problem is most fans are going to expect the QB Killer, 10 sack pass rusher and he likely won't be that type of player. Which will lead imbecilic Bills "fans" to call him a bust. Even if he ends being a great every down LB.
