What about Demetrius Bell?

Isn't Trent Williams gonna be suspended for puff, puff, passing with Fred Davis? -
What about Demetrius Bell?
1B4IDie replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Derrick Dockery, Mike Williams, and now possibly Demetrius Bell. Maybe the Redskins are so bad because they pick the Bills trash heap so often. They did find a gem in London Fletcher. -
Seriously I noticed that too. Weird.

Can Shawne Merriman play DE?
1B4IDie replied to FrankReichComeback's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is little doubt that Shawne Merriman can play DE on passing downs. (Which in the NFL against the Patriots is most of the game) No one should have any concerns about the possibility of Merriman at DE. You can be concerned about his health, for obvious reasons. The year is 2012 and there have been dozens of examples of people returning from Achilles. They all took multiple years to regain their form a la Spikes. Still, there is no guarantee Merriman will be healthy. There is no guarantee Mario Williams, Kyle Williams or Marcell Dareus will be healthy as well. Good news, Kelsay is actually competent at DE in a 4-3 and IF Merriman is healthy, Tom Brady, Mark Sanshez, and whatever bum lines up Miami won't be vertical very often. -
The Bill Curtain (Williams, Williams, and Dareus)
1B4IDie replied to southernbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WW MD Williams of Mass Destruction I like it. That's what I'm going with. But also you know how Bill is short for William . . . And We have Two Williams . . .and the team is the Bills . . . MD is like a doctor Like DR. Bills . . .Doctor Bills MD . . . I don't know . . . There has to be something there. Also Mario . . .Meatball and MD . . . So like Chef Mario Meatball MD, serving up sacks . . .There could be something there. -
Yeah this is the plan. By signing Mario, we're basically assured to worst case, get a likely blue chip LT.

Mario Williams: Officially a Buffalo Bill
1B4IDie replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope there are no Parallels between the Sabres almost winning the game, then going to OT with 1.9 seconds then losing in OT to Mario Williams being in Buffalo for 3 days. -

The Mansion on Delaware doesn't meat "The W" or J.W. Marriott standards. I hope the fiance wasn't turned off. Damn you Tom Brady! -

http://www.wgrz.com/video/default.aspx?bctid=1505386302001 http://www.wgrz.com/video/default.aspx?bctid=1505386302001 It looks like Kyle Williams at the top of the stairs was there to greet Mario Williams. Wanstache was not smiling though, maybe because he is thinking of all the Mario and Luigi comments that will be sure to come. -
How about I qualify the statement. "Right now I don't, believe he is a game changing DE in the NFL and I don't believe he worthy of the #10 overall pick especially in comparison to the quality of OTs and Malcolm Floyd. That's just that way it is, for me." Better? If Ingram were in the 2011 NFL draft this is where I would stack rank him in 1st round pass rusher prospects: Aldon Smith J. J. Watt Von Miller Nick Fairley Ryan Kerrigan Adrian Clayborn Robert Quinn - Ingram Cameron Jordan - Coples I could see someone arguing Ingram over Clayborn but I can't see anyone arguing that Ingram is a better prospect than Kerrigan. The 2012 DE class is weak, it just is imo. The Bills can't afford to reach past possible Blue-Chip talent at OT to grab an immidiate need of a pass rusher, imo.

Actually I've watched several SC games. If you want a blast from the past watch Gurley emerge in GB now that Donald Driver is gone. Accusing me of not watching college games, that's funny. Anywho, Melvin Ingram would stack rank somewhere around Justin Houston in the 2011 draft. He is not a premier game changer at DE in the NFL. That's just that the way it is.

I hear of him. Get 'er done Buddy. Ralph is cheap. etc etc etc

The Merriman tweet to VJackson

Y'all see Drayton Florence's tweet: -
Corrected my post as it looks like this changed a bit. My bad. I don't know how the levels work. I guess the "levels" are designated by the dollars offered to the player in comparison to the league? Does anyone know how that works?

Way too early for me to prognosticate. I need to see what happens with this defense in FA and the draft and what Pre-Season looks like. So I'll just assume 19-0 until then. I do know that my road game this year will be Indianapolis to see the young, Master Luck play. or to San Francisco to see the debacle that will be let down from the NFC championship game.

MELVIN INGRAM WOULDNT HAVE BEEN A 1ST ROUND PICK IN 2011. This fact is not lost on Buddy Nix. If the draft plays out this way. I would expect Martin to be the pick in the first. I like Steven Gilmore as the BPA. As pointed out earlier Vinny Curry is hands down the pick at 72 if the draft goes that, doesn't matter if they screw up their first round pick with Ingram. You still take Curry. MOSLEY at 105. Then Randell 124 CAN'T talk intelligently about enough prospects on the 5th but have seen Kennan Robinson play, so wouldn't mind that pick but I'll leave to you for those decisions.

All Peyton Manning, all the time!
1B4IDie replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tebow to the Jags is the rumor, since people still have Tebow #5 Florida Gator stickers on their trucks it would a no brainer for them. Gaine Blabbert is likely a worse QB than Tebow. -
The redskins O-line has been horrible for the last 5+ years and unless they spend picks 3-7 on o-line RGIII is going to get killed bu the Giants. I don't care how fast he runs the 40 if you have 4 turnstiles in front of you, you're gonna take a beating.

Correct but I believe Kahlil, Martin, Adams, & Reiff are all blue-chip prospects In 2012 tackles are deep and all are close to "can't miss" (I hate that term). Its like 2011 with defensive ends Kerrigan through JJ Watt were all "can't miss". (On a side note I doubt Coples or ingram would be first round picks in 2011 and neither strike me as Blue-chipers or "can't miss" prospects)
