Is M. Floyd better than Alshon Jeffery......
1B4IDie replied to roccitybillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What is this based on? Your gut? Or Alshon's gut? I don't think you're familiar with Michael Floyd. Floyd had better Combine numbers than AJ Green. There is no question that he is fast plus he has a great statistical and on field performance resume at Nortre Dame. PlayerCollegeHeightWeightArm LengthHand Length40 YardRepsVerticalShuttle60 YardConeBroad Jump Michael FloydNotre Dame6'2 5/822032 7/89 3/8"4.471636.5---10'2" AJ GreenGeorgia 6'3 5/821134 3/89 1/44.51834.510'6 If he didn't have the DUI issues he would be a concusses Top5 pick. This talent doesn't grow on trees. If this pick happened. Everyone on this board would whine and moan about a pass rush but by Week 3 2013 most of the Stadium would be wearing Floyd jerseys. He is a freak, if he can keep his drinking in check. Almost getting kicked out of school might have opened up his eyes. Its up to Nix and GMs around the NFL to make that determination. Talent wise, if he is there at #10, he would be hands down the Best Player Available. Wouldn't even be a close second place, talent wise. It comes down to whether he can keep his DUIs in check. What is more worrisome to perspective NFL clubs a guy that's downing too many Maccallans or a guy that's downing too many Big Macs? If he won't get in the gym the summer before he enters the draft what is he going to do when he gets a second round signing bonus? -

DE Mark Anderson in Buffalo (SIGNED)
1B4IDie replied to SKRAAPY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mark Anderson isn't Mario Williams. He is lucky if he gets to visit Mr. Pizza You guys realize that Mark Anderson already played on the same line as Mario Williams in the past, right? He didn't exactly rip it up that year. He would be more of a rotational D-End. Probably put him in on some passing downs and take Kelsay out. -

Tempo is real good. There are plenty of nice restaurants in Buffalo. The Veal ribs are awesome. -
Mario Williams: Officially a Buffalo Bill

Some sights have a meter for posting threads, if you get a lot of views or have a lot of replies. If TBD did this Buffalo_Bills would be a freaking legend. -
TEBOW!!! is a Jet! (finally)

I agree to a certain extent. Discussing draft prospects at least sometimes has some new information (not much new information is going to surface after the pro-days) and I believe is valuable. I wouldn't mind if there were a #10 pick pinned as well, but the "Trade for Tebow" is now a offseason and regular season regular thread. Its just getting ridiculous. -

I'd put $100 on the over and $20 on 12 sacks for the exacta. -

I'm so glad someone started another Tebow thread, this was absolutely necessary and completely different and unique from what was posted 10,000 times in the last 2 years. -
I have to say Mathew I am impressed with your answer. I agree 100%. I tend to think of you as a Glass half empty kind of guy or a self proclaimed "realist." I find your answer surprising, I feel a new dawn in Buffalo Bills history is approaching.

Aiken has tiny hands. I'm guessing that he might not catch the ball as well in practice as everyone assumes. I bumped into Jerry Rice at the Reagan National Airport a few weeks back his hands are freaking huge and they seem like they could still crush bricks. I don't know what that has to do Aiken's tiny hands other than the fact it is not likely that he can crush bricks with his hands. Watch Damrius Thomas' stats next season with Manning. Then wonder what David Nelson's stats would have been at the University of Florida without Tebow and with Cam Newton instead, and where Nelson would have likely been picked had he had a competent throwing QB in college. David Nelson was a gem in the rough, fellas. Keep him running inside routes between the hash marks and keep moving those chains. Then keep in mind between Chandler and Nelson they are options 1a and 1b in the red zone. Some jokers in TBD will never respect him because he was an UDFA but David Nelson is no joke.

Derrick "I'm not Mario" Hagan actually looked decent at the end of the season, much better than Donald Jones. I'm glad he is back because he will offer some real camp battles for Aiken, Roosevelt Easley, and Jones. and FYI Easley was picked over Aaron Hernandez.

Seriously. If I were a decision maker and some craphead artist brought me that POS sheet, I would smack them in their head, poke my eyes out, and sue them for whatever money was paid upfront and my long term disability for now being blind. That page offended me deeply as a human being and a hockey fan.

The Cleveland Browns had Seneca Wallace impersonating a QB at the end of the season. They have questionable WRs in Cribbs, Little looked goid and Hardesty is a walking mash unit to himself. So Tim Tebow could do everything there. Why.not Cleveland? -
Mallet could become available
1B4IDie replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched almost every Arkansas game during Mallet's last season there. He can slide into a pocket and side step blitzers. Which is more than I can say for Brady's Athleticism. -
What's your point? That list of "Free Agents" looks like they got them from the typical garbage bin that Buffalo picks through, save Lloyd.

1B4IDie replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope this one will be in the archive. It'll be funny when Mallet is a 4,000 yard passer in 2015 and the same haters on here will be complaining that we could have drafted him over DaNorris Searcy and how stupid Buddy was for making that pick. The Pats coaching staff likes Mallet, its just a fluff piece, a fluff piece that is probably in 31 other team's local news about their team acquiring Tebow. Does anyone think that Pats that have 2 TEs and a Franchise QB and a QB being groomed in the wings are really going to trade for Tebow? -

Buddy's Man Bank on it! Riley Reiff
1B4IDie replied to Thirty Year Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want to say 0% chance, but its probably in the low single digits that Reiff is the Pick. It is probably 60/30 between Martin/Adams and 9% chance of Malcolm Floyd. Correct Reiff is projected to a RT, not a target for the #10 overall pick. Exactly Gallery went from top OT pickle to journeyman Guard. Reiff has a similar likely outcome. I doubt Buddy falls for this obvious misstep in the draft. -
I don't think you're familiar with Michael Floyd so I edited your post to reflect reality. I hope you don't mind. Floyd had better Combine numbers than AJ Green. There is no question that he is fast, and what does it matter why he has good hands. Plus he has a great statistical and on field performance resume at Nortre Dame. alshon jeffery, open even when he's not
1B4IDie replied to ARMchairgm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah My draft board looks like this for #10 (Obviously assuming Kalil, and Claiborne are gone) Floyd Martin Adams Reiff Second round would like Branch Curry - Jeffrey it would be a crazy unlikely all 3 of those players are there at #42 if any. Fans will loose it if we go OT, WR even though we got Mario. But I think you can get some nice OLB and DEs in 3rd through 4th. -
Mario Williams: Officially a Buffalo Bill
1B4IDie replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
or 120% of your last year's salary, whichever is greater. That way a guy in the Top 5 doesn't have to take a paycut if they get franchised. That was the deal with Megaton too. The Average of the Top 5 WRs would have been less than his salary. -
Mario Williams: Officially a Buffalo Bill
1B4IDie replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah a bit of an exaggeration, but Bruuucce had 57 through his first 5 seasons, then that glorious 19 sack season. So if Mario has a 19 sack season in Buffalo in 2012, it won't be as much as an exaggeration but that would be a big IF. I think a dozen is much more achievable goal. -

Can you point to another human being that is 6'-6" 283 Fast, quick, nimble, and powerful? JULIUS Peppers. . . Maybe JJ Watt. . . And? The fact of the matter is Mario Williams is a freak of nature. On top of that he has been productive sack artist. He is on pace to break Bruuuuuce's sack record On top of that he is in the prime of his life right now. All those factors add up to a once a decade if not generation free agent signing which also means big money is needed to sign a player like that. Peppers and Haynesworth's contracts did not raise the stakes for everyone else because there aren't Peppers and Marios all over the league. (And there aren't other Redskin franchises)
