  1. Yeah if you look at the 0:06 mark on that play. There is nothing in-between FJ and the end zone besides Berry. FJ gets caught from the side/behind. If you look at the 0:04 mark and prior SJ13 is basically staring at Berry from snap and 0:04 Berry is staring at the sideline because the play looks like a sweep. He is not aware that a WR is starring him down to make a block. SJ13 is about 7 yards away and if FJ didn't caught from behind there was no way SJ13 could have gotten a Shouler pad on Berry. He had to dive to get in Berry's way. Even as a safety it should make you feel uncomfortable if you're in that much open space on a running play. Just an unfortunate play for Berry, he wasn't aware of a WR trying to make a hustle block.
  2. Agree 100% on this.
  3. +1 That is A+++++++++ draft. If somehow the draft worked out that way. I would be doing backflips.
  4. Um, That question has already been answered. Mike Mularkey is the answer. Any who, Gaine Blabbert was a bust as clear as day pre-draft, during draft and post draft. Hopefully the curse of Rob Johnson has finally left the Bills and caught up with the Jags.
  5. Taking a QB under 6'1" is a stupid waste of time. (period) It is beyond stupid to waste any draft pick, even a 7th, on the hopes that you catch Flutie (Heisman winner) Vick (Heisman 3rd Runner up) Brees (Heisman 4th Runner up) Lightening. Russell Wilson (0 Heisman votes) is not in the same universe as either of those 3. Words can not describe how stupid it is to think that drafting a 5'10" QB in any round is a good idea in the year 2012. Yeah the fans feel great, "Man that guy is the same size as me, maybe I can QB an NFL team" However it is stupid stupid stupid. Yes you personally should question your stupidity if you think it is a good idea to draft Russell Wilson. Maybe bring him in as UDFA and see if he can be a camp arm, but don't waste a pick.
  6. I would advise putting your time off for that Friday after the game as soon as possible. Matter of fact that Thursday too, It wouldn't be a true Buffalo Prime Time game if you didn't start tailgating at 8am, and could still spell your name by kickoff.
  7. How old is Fred Jackson? I'm not saying I'm advocating this pick, or the Mockers line of reasoning. I am saying if somehow Richardson falls, my shock on a scale of 1-10 of Buddy Nix Dreaming of a Spiller-Richardson backfield would be a about a 1. If any of the Top six prospects, including Richardson fall. I expect the Bills to draft them and not trade the pick. Luck, RGII, Kalil, Claiborne, Blackmon Richardson.

  10. Do I have to watch this painful special. Anyone have a list of games and dates yet? http://prod.static.bills.clubs.nfl.com//assets/pdf/2012-schedule.pdf
  11. I skimmed but still the point being the Bills' reno is about half the cost to Tax Payers. We should be saying, we got a GD deal.
  12. Back to the Bills, that's why the appropriate response to the Bills' renovation project is "Phew, it's only going to be $200M." Asking Minnesotans to cough up $1B takes some big balls. 13. I think the best case scenario is Luck has a press release that says his arm was amputated in a freak accident but secretly tells Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey that he is actually fine. Then the Bills Draft Andrew Luck at #10 to the surprise of the Draft world, as there has never been a one armed QB in the NFL. Then Luck comes out with both arms raised and says "Psych! I just wanted to play for the Buffalo Bills and this was the only way I can see this happening. Lets go Buffalo!" That would be the best case scenario, there is a chance of that happening.
  14. Remember when Buddy Nix fist pumped after the Von Miller pick? If someone took Kuechly before the Bills pick., I'd expect a double fist pump. A good prospect would fall the dominoes would line uo much better for the Bills. It would be awesome!
  15. +1 That would be the most amazing dream draft.
  16. We know exactly when it will be released. Tuesday April 17th or Tuesday April 24th. Odds are on Tuesday April 17th right now.
  17. I'm starting to agree with this line of thinking. As Much as I'd like to see Floyd opposite SJ13 is as much as I'd hate to see the Bills waste the pick on Koochie, (you can get a great 4-3 OLB in the 4th.) Looks like the Highs and Lows for me for draft day may be avoided. A boring RT pick in Reiff or a boring CB pick in Kirkpatrick is starting to solidify with an outside chance an Martin. Unless the Top 6 prospects some how fall.
  18. Coochie has plenty of detractors He ain't a big body Nor does he have elite Atheltic ability. He is a college tackling machine, big whoop. In the ACC no less, a minor league conference. You can find very good OLBs in a 4-3 in rounds 3-7 that can play at just as a high level as koochie. If you listen to Nix. You'll see that Coochie isn't likely on the Bills' Big Board. It is highly unlikely Koochie-lue comes to Buffalo.
  19. I think phew, its only 200M is the appropriate response.
  20. Koochie - I don't like smallish tackling machine LBs that you can get 80% the same production in the 4th round. I'm sure he'll be a good pro. Prefer not a. Bills pick @10 Reiff - I think he'll be good pro at RT. I don't want the Bills taking him at #10 Kirkpatrick - I get the McKelvin hee bee gEe bees with him. But he'll probably be a good pro. Hill - Too risky Too raw to take too early. 3 years from now could be a stud. Maybe in the 5th round I'd feel better about the pick.
  21. Yes we can name busts but do you really think DeCastro has a chance to be beat by Urbik? No one is concerned about DeCastro playing RG in the NFL. Come on now. You really think Adams will be like Mike Williams? I don't think that either example is close to likely. FLOYD grew up in minneapolis which is alot more similiar to Buffalo than Miami or San Francisco. Not to mention 1.) FLOYD was never a primadonna in college I don't know where these comments stem from. 2.) McGahee and Lynch never played any differently in Seattle, Baltimore or, Denver than they did in Buffalo. They weren't holding back while in Buffalo.
  22. I think OT definitely became P2+, but I'd put OT, WR and CB as P2. OLB isn't a P2 in my opinion An OLB in a 3-4 is different than an OLB in a 4-3. Bryan Scott can cover TEs and Moats and others can probably play OLB. So I would recommend knocking OLB down. I honestly believe an OLB in a 4-3 can never be that high of a need. There literally 100s of prospects that fit that body type and can play admirably. You can find a 4-3 OLB in round 3-7. The defensive ends in a 4-3 would have been a P1 without Mario but a 4-3 OLB not nearly as important. Definitely not over OT, CB, or WR imo. +1. I didn't see your post and was thinking the same thing. Not just this guy and this thread but the copy and pasting of mocks is getting out of hand.
  23. And all of that can happen while talking about the bust potential of the prospective draft picks. They are not mutually exclusive. Last year this time it was "Von Miller will be a bust" "Cam Newton will be a bust." and "Bruce Carter will be a bust". The difference is in 2012 I don't see the B word thrown around too much and I don't see high bust potential by the prospects out there.
  24. I think Coochie is projected as an OLB in the Bills new 3-4 scheme. A Little Bigger Bryan Scott.
  25. I'm looking For Erik Flowers, Mike Williams, JP LOSSman, or Aaron Maybin type of bust. A zero contributor; and I'm pretty confident I don't see one happening this year. Yes if Koochie is drafted at #10 and he becomes a Poz clone. It will be a disappointment but not a bust. If Reiff plays RG, there will be a lot of "I told you so"s but I think he would play well at RG for years, Its kinda of a bust but not like Mike Williams. If Floyd mises a few games because of off the field stuff but on the field contributes a Lee Evanesque 48 catches and 750 yards it would be a disappointment but not a complete bust. Thats what I'm looking at, the odds of a complete zero contributor bust is extremely low in this draft. I'm not so pyched about the Top 10 pick (Unless Floyd was there at 10 and picked.) How do you define "a top 10 player?" The Actual Ten picks that happen, or the 10 prospects that are a possibility to picked at #10? Some of those players may not go in the Top 20. I am pyched about having 3 picks in the top 75.
