I rather have Nelson and Chandler on the field with Sppiler and Fred Jackson a million times over than trying to figure out where you force Harvin into the offense. We have the middle of the field and SJ13's side more than covered. If Harvin played Flanker than maybe but there is no need in bringing a name in to the team just to bring a name into the team.

The Charles Barkley of the NFL. -
With the exception of the Cheifs, Chargers, and Colts they are all better than the current logos. The packers one is just funny , I like it. I bet T-shirts of that would sell like crazy. I really like the more defined Bills logo too. I would get behind a change to that one.

Ballard gets caught in the mix on this. Now he has to change his whole medical staff and rehab program. Pats rehab program usually starts at the unemployment line, so Good luck to Ballard on this mess.

Holy crap this is good! Dude, it doesn't look like TwoBills Drive .com is pulling content from this source . That needs to be rectified these are some of the best articles I've seen all off season. Too bad some knuckle heads chased Tim Graham off this board. -

My crew and I try to go to 2 road games per year, lately its been 1. We've been to 13 stadiums and we fly Red White and Bills' Blue pretty heavy, everywhere we go. Everywhere you go you'll hear: "Boy I love Losing SuperBowl" "Wide Right" "And you guys suck" Mostly harmless back and forth. Only two real incidents ever occurred. The fans in Jacksonville are just crazy for no apparent reason. Many invitations to fight. Really just strange behavior. The other was in DC at the Redskins game, where a woman ran out of nowhere and pushed my friend as we were going down a flight of stairs. Her boyfriend came over and when there were 8 Bills fans asking him to control his woman, and HIS buddy stepped in and said "Yeah you need to put that one on a leash" Nothing escalated. However haven't been to Philadelphia or San Fran yet, we might not go with the full regalia in San Fran as it is not worth getting stabbed simply for wearing the wrong colors at a football game.

Thank you. It must be hard work constantly setting the record straight. Can't way for the 13th. "Merriman is listed as DE" thread.

Ronnie Brown is closer to retirement than going to the Pro bowl again for the Chargers. The wildcat was run because the Fish had horrible QB play and they were better off not wasting the time to snap it to the QB. They had a few succesfull weeks. Brad Smith had a wide wide wide wide open Stevie Johnson on one of the few "wildcat" sets the Bills played last year against the Raiders. He wussed out and tuck the ball and ran. Why anyone would want the Bills to run gadget plays on regular basis is beyond me. Yeah we have some NFL quality athelets for a change. Let's focus on the fact that "our better is better than your better" and win games by putting these athelets in good place to contribute on a regular basis. i.e Brad Smith competing at WR and Stephone Gilmore becoming the new "shutdown" corner. Yes its fun to talk gadget plays but let's get some Ws the old fashioned way before we start wrinkling the playbook.

I'm with you. I ordered a Nelson Jersey. He is playing like a skinny Antonio Gates or a Taller, less quick Wes Welker, or a poor man's Jimmy Graham. Either way I think Chan sees he has something special. Good Size, Great Hands, ability to get open, seems to be able to handle the pressure of big moments. I may be overly optimistic but I see something special developing between Fitzy and Nelson. Throw in a big Chandler parading through the same generally vicinity and defenses will have trouble taking both of these options away. Big things man.

Maybe you don't live in America anymore, being self-centered and exaggerated Self-promotion gets you pretty far in corporate America today. This skills will serve him well.

Gronk signes 6 yr extension with the *pats

Lord Help us all, what this man will do with this type of money will be shameful. "They never shoulda gave you Gronks money!" -
Why would you ever throw out wide when you have Gronk, Hernandez, and Welker working between the hash marks? Brady plays Captain Checkdown ball, and you can when you have that corp. If Jerry Rice were playing WIDE Receiver in that offense today he wouldn't do much either. That being said. Do you really want Ocho Cinco rubbing shoulders with TJ Graham or Stevie Johnson? Let me first restate Chad "OchoCinco" Johnson is not a thug, he has done nothing wrong, he is simply a publicity whore. I wouldn't hate the idea of signing him. I wouldn't love it though. WR#2 is a weakpoint and I don't know if there is one starter in the whole mix of "The Legend of" Marcus Easley, TJ Whathisname, David "Hands of Stone" Jones, Derek "I'm not Mario" Hagan, Naaman "Homer" Rossevelt or Kamar "Practice Squad" Aiken, adding Chad Eight Five only adds one more question mark. I'd rather see what we have on the roster through extra reps than bring a player with the "arrow pointing down."

I didn't take that way. I didn't see the proposal for an open competition for a staring QB, but if you did that I understand you're response better. And you're right I think Chan's math may look different in 2012 (A losing, floundering* Fitz in 3rd year with 2 previous losing records) < (VY) Lets just hope it does't come to that. *definition of floundering is solely Chan's to determine.

Yeah I heard fat Bob's went downhill. I heard it changed owner's a few times now. Kentucky Greg's is where I'm told is the best bbq now.
-
No. Just that with Spiller, you can line him inside and run, line him up outside and throw, and he can even block. So it gives Fitz more options and adds another wrinkle to the offense. Freddy and CJ were not in the Top Six RB Tandems, but Jamaal Charles and Peyton Hillis was????!!
-
Wow nice interview with Freddy where Freddy breaks down the addition of CJ Spiller to the offense. Looks like we may finally see some two back sets in 2012. Then they did a countdown of best RB tandems in the NFL. Guess where Freddy and CJ were?

Any questions for Mike Jasper?

I bet the chair was happy when Hannah returned to it. -
Life isn't fair, Chan doesn't have to make anything fair. VY will not be given a fair shot. If Fitz struggles mightily in the first half with that tough schedule, it is not outlandish to think that the guy that looks good in practice whether that be VY or anyone else might get a shot to play on Sundays. Nothing in life is guaranteed and especially not a football starting position in a quick 16 game season, and life is very rarely fair. I like Fitz, I want him to succeed and take this team to the Super Bowl but if he does more sucking than seeded, he might be holding the clipboard instead of starting QB. There really isn't a counter argument. If Fitz performs well and the team wins he will continue to start, if Fitz does not perform well and the team loses, it opens the door for VY. It is a fact.

I totally forgot about Aaron Williams. So Gilmore and Williams out wide with Brooks playing Nickle and McKelvin watching Baby Einstein video we should be in good shape. So I take back the "Junk Heap" comment.

Positional Needs for DraftTek - June
1B4IDie replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Correct, I mis-typed. I'm glad we agree on this one, I actually wouldn't mind if 2013 draft they took a 4-3 DE in the 1st round if there was a potential stud Pass rusher there too. Like many have posted you can never have enough. Who knows if Mark Anderson and Merriman will work out. Plus Kelsay is anything but a pass rushing specialist. Dude, How can I forget Aaron Williams. Iguess its the offseason. I will take that ad revise. I need some training camp. We agree for the post part here, try squeezing the priorities into draftek's priority system. -
Positional Needs for DraftTek - June
1B4IDie replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You should never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever under any circumstances take a 4-3* OLB in the first round. It is beyond stupid. And since we don't have a SILB position anymore you can lose that too. I would recommend: QB---P1 (top priority) - Fine but we have Fitz and VY on the roster likely in April QB will be P6 WRF--P2 (pick WR if QB, can't be found on the Big Board within 12 slots) CB---P3 - You have Gilmore, old McGee, Bone Head McKelvin and Brooks (Nickle - CB) so there is a need for another guy outwide P4's: TE---Tight End OLB - OLB P6's: LOT--Left Offensive Tackle WRP--Wide Receiver, Possession type DE --You can never have enough young pass rushers. OC---Center FS---Free Safety SS---Strong Safety MLB - Middle Linebacker * corrected -
Not True. You want Morrison at OLB in a 4-3 where he had some success. The problem is you have two MLB in Barnett and Shepp. the question is how good will Barnett be at OLB and how good will Shepp be at MLB. Then you have a whole host of young talent that will provide depth and have potential to be starter quality material. In 4-3 the LBs are less important than in a 3-4. It was a good switch back to 4-3. The team didn't have 3-4 talent. If we were still in 3-4, I'd be worried. LB is really not a huge worry. Yes we do not have players that are household names at LB, but we have talent, all of this talent will be put through the wringers in Training Camp, The LBs that make it out and survive the competition should be more than adequate for a 4-3 with that defensive line, If Shepp develops and Morrison can contribute and Barnett can play OLB we may even have an above average LB core. Its lousy or a major area of concern imo.
